When I arrived the receptionist was on a personal call, did not get off and instead tapped a pen at me to sign in. There was not enough room to sit. However, the stylist was right...

My girls wanted to get their ears pierced and the girls at Pigtails and Crewcuts were so caring and quick. I was really impressed with the selection of earrings and that they pierced both ears at the same time. My oldest was really nervous and scared but she went through with it and she is so happy she did! I would recommend this place to all my friends. more

Wonderful Experience 10/26/2013

My 2 year old loves getting his haircut at Pigtails & Crewcuts. They make it a great experience for the little ones. I booked my appointment online which was easy to do and they were running on time. My son always likes faux hawks and they do a great job! I think the stylist we just had, Joni, was super and I am going to request her next time. more

My 17 month old does not like getting his hair cut. My stylist did a great job of letting him take her combs, play with the equipment, and distract him from what was going on. It's a little rough on the edges, but his hair looks great (especially for how much he was wiggling). I wish it wasn't quite so busy, but I just always get an appointment (the online booking is so convenient) more

What a great place! 10/7/2013

My daughter DID NOT want to get her haircut...until I showed her pictures of this place! She was so excited for her appointment. She then got to pick out where she wanted to sit and she was in the Rockies Airplane...how cool is that! Maxine did an amazing job in cutting her hair, she was so sweet! We can't wait to come back and wish it was a bit closer to our house!! more

Good, quick and friendly service 10/6/2013

I brought my girls in to get their braided for a gymnastics meet. The stylist understood what was needed and did a great job! Their hair looked good and stayed in place during the entire meet. more

Brought my 28 month old for his first professional haircut and it went great. He sat and watched a movie and sucked on a lollipop while Dana cut his hair. He was so relaxed by the end she could even use the clippers. more

We always receive such great service at Pigtails and Crewcuts! My son is 1.5 years old and not used to having his hair cut. The woman who cut his hair was so patient and did such a great job keeping him calm and still. His hair looks great! more

First Haircut at Pigtails & Crewcuts 9/17/2013

My little girl was treated like a princess! She received a cut and style (princess braid) with pink hair gel and glitter spray. She got a lollipop and certificate with her pic and a clip of her hair. She also picked a prize (ring) from the treasure chest. She was happy and that's what matters. Thank you Dana (stylist) for your patients and an overall fun experience. :) more

Okay, not worth the trip north 9/14/2013

My three year old really doesn't enjoy getting his haircut. So I decided to try this shop that's kid focused. The experience was the same if not more frustrating then when we went to fantastic sam's. Not bad but not worth the money or 30min drive. more

Awesome! 9/10/2013

I wanted my 18 month son to have his very first haircut in a fun airplane or police car seat, Colorado Springs doesn't have anything like that. I don't remember the name of the woman who cut my son's hair, but she was nice, fast and talented. She could have been a bit friendlier and smiled more, but she did exactly what I wanted. I expected my son to scream and cry and squirm, but he sat perfectly still and quiet the whole time and watched tv. We will definitely recommend this place to others! more

Haircuts 9/5/2013

Maxine cut my daughter's long hair beautifully and then finished it off with the most amazing sideways French braid. She then cut my sin's very blond hair perfectly-no cut marks(any mom with blonde sons knows what I am talking about.) we have finally found a stylist who can cut our children's hair well! more

My son has been getting his hair cut here for a year now. Before he was very nervous about haircuts. Now, he tells me when it's time to come back. He has some sensory issues and Jen always makes him feel comfortable every step of the haircut! We will be back again in bout 6 weeks! Thanks for making something that was stressful for my 4 year old into a requested activity! more
