Photography Shoppe

Wish I could give zero stars.... Were the photographers there on time, yes. Were they always prepared, no. We didn't get hardly any group photos because the photographer did not review the photo list he asked for and we gave him. He didn't realize that we wanted to do all the group photos before the wedding and that we had budgeted the time for it. We had to wait on him. Also, it would be great to see all my photos. I have called and called and called for months and I still don't have all the photos. While I could reach the photographer before the wedding. I can't get him to return my phonecalls now that they have all my money and he doesn't want to deal with the customer service side. I just want all the products that I paid for. I already regret hiring them. I just want all the pictures...good or bad. They have affordable packages but it isn't worth it in the end. I have spent hours trying to talk to someone in the office. E-mails don't work, phone calls don't work. No one will e-mail you back OR call you back. What a joke. I saved at least a thousand dollars by choosing them but now I look at it as a couple thousand dollars lost as well as a once in a lifetime moment because I can't even get all the pictures. more

The photographer I got was a freelancer (which he was GREAT), it's the Baton Rouge office that freakin sucks. I called and emailed from June 2010 until Oct 2010 and only one time did someone answer the phone, and that was just today (Oct. 14, 2010)! It will take them a YEAR to produce your flush mount album, a whole FRIGGIN year. I'll be lucky to get mine by my 1 year anniversary. I will not recommend them to anymore. more

I was always able to get in touch with my photographer when I needed to. I had tons of questions while I was planning the wedding, and I was always able to get an answer to my question right away, whether it was by phone or e-mail. \r I was late to my bridal picture session (because of my makeup lady), and when I got there I was very upset. My photographer was very nice about everything, and offered to stay late for me to get in all of the shots we could at no additional charge more

Working with the Photography Shoppe was one of the best ideas we had. They were extremely patient and very kind. They took so many great photos, stuff that I know we would have never thought of and so glad that they did!! They captured moments that I will remember forever, and I would recommend them to everyone. Extremely affordable and WELL WORTH IT!! more

I used the photography shoppe for my engagement session, bridal portraits and wedding day sessions. Their packages are very good and reasonable! Everyone is super helpful and will answer all your questions in a timely manner. I was very satisfied with all of my portrait sessions and my photographer (Kristin) was very professional and meet all of my needs. I highly recommend using the photography shoppe if you are looking for someone to go above and beyond your needs and expectations! more

One of the best decisions I made. I had a tight budget and did not think I could afford evrything I wanted. Not true these guys gave a lot for the money. I even got albums for our parents. And the pictures were awesome. I have told several of my firends. more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I used their Houston location for the photographers - which were great, but the rest of the deal is with the Baton Rouge home office. Never receive a return phone call. The owner will not speak to me. I had to call everday, several times a day for 2 weeks to get someone to answer my questions about the status of the album proof. Now that the proof was approved and I'm trying to get a status on when I will receive that actual album. I was married ONE YEAR AGO and still do not have my albums. The pictures and the CDs were good - however DO NOT get anything with the package. It takes forever!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! more

I chose the Photography Shoppe to do my wedding photos based on what I saw at a bridal show. Of course, the best photographs were posted on display there and the company seemed too good to be true. IT IS! I used all three services - photography, videography, and DJ for the wedding. I was pleased with the DJ services and have nothing negative to say about them. I was also pleased with my engagement and bridal pictures. However, I still have yet to receive my wedding pictures. There is never an answer to phone calls even though it is during business hours. If you send an e-mail, there is no response either. When I received my highlights video, it was AWESOME. Everyone who watched it was so impressed.....then we got the full coverage video. First, I did not get everything that was written in the contract. The envelope came in the mail with 6 discs. Only one disc contained the reception...and none of the discs seemed to be edited. My entire reception can't even been seen because the one CD that contains the reception does not work. Again, I continue to call and e-mail regularly and never get a response. I have looked up this business on the BBB (should have done this sooner) and found that, not to my surprise, it receives an F. It was a huge mistake to go with this company. Don't let the nice man at the bridal shows fool you...they have very poor service and a very poor product. more

I absolutely LOVED the photography shoppe not only did I get a ton of pictures, and 3 albums for a great price. I had the most amazing photographers for my Engagement Session and Wedding. They were professional, made me and my husband and our guest feel special. The staff was polite and easy to talk to, Chris was an absolute GOD Send I didn't have to worry about anything. My photographers were great at capturing special moments and at directing! I have already recommended the photography shoppe to loads of brides to be ( one of my friends also went with them and LOVED her experience as well) and have gotten lots of compliments on our pictures. We came across The Photograpy Shoppe at the Bridal Show. Because we had no idea where to start when choosing our Photography, Videography, and DJ. Off all the people we have talked to, we decided to go with The Photography Shoppe bc we saw that they have beat everyone on their pricing!!!! They were all so helpful at the show too so we set up our consulation meeting. We met with Chris Howard. He is amazing!!!! He will customized your photo package the way you want it.......The price was just ridiculously affordable!!!! We loved him so much we booked the all 3 with him! We just had our wedding and Chris and his staff was phenomenal. They have exceeded our expections! I HIGHLY recommend everyone to use The Photograpy Shoppe.....it was a one stop shop for us!!! We hired Photography Shoppe to do my bridal pictures and my wedding. I was pleased with the photographer for my bridal portraits, but the pictures did not come out great. that was not a huge deal to me...I figured they would be better for the wedding. I got 2 photographers the day of the wedding, and several pictures were missing. There are NO pictures of my parents together, among other things. I got the CD of my proofs, which included about 400 pictures. I could tell pictures were missing that I remembered taking. I asked for the originals, and had to file with the Better Business Bureau and threaten with a lawyer in order to get them to send the originals. Now I am trying to get in touch with them to make sure they received the order forms for my albums, but they are not returning my phone calls or emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They show you the greatest pictures when you go for a consultation, and then your pictures don't even compare to those shown to you. My pictures are terrible compared to the ones that were showed to us!!!!! Pros: Nothing! Cons: Everything! more
