The Bomb!!!! 11/6/2002

I live in South Central Los Angeles. In rush hour traffic, I will gladly go against the grain and travel to San Gabriel just for the large (whish is rectangular - and VERY LARGE) works pizza. Loaded with the most delicious mushrooms you've ever sinked your teeth into, and piled high with succulent italian sausages, plus all of the other goodies that come on a works pizza. This pizza is the absolute freshest I've ever had. And trust me - I'm a pizza conosuer. more

It worth the drive. 11/1/2002

Our family has been going to Petrillo's for thirty years. It has the juiciest pizza, with chewiest, sour dough crust I've ever tasted. Sausage is my favorite - has lots of big chunks. Call ahead and place order and it will prevent a long wait at dinner time. Pros: Well priced, Call in orders, easy street parking more

Petrillo's has a very good pizza and the rest of their menu is good also. But if you already in San Gabriel just go about 10 miles west to Eagle Rock and have the best pizza around at Casa Bianca. Pros: good food, nice workers Cons: terrible parking more

Best Sunday take-out 8/19/2002

I've been eating here for over 30 years. When ever I am in the mood for pizza this is first place I think of. I have a cousin who lives in Reno and the first place he stops when in town is Petrillo's. He has even taken a pizza home on the plane. Been eating at Petrillo's since 1955 and it only gets better. Don't settle for anything but the square ""large"" pizza. Always busy, so service takes a hit. Get one ""to go"" and forget eating there. Quality, Delicious and lots of it 7/21/2002

Petrillo's Pizza is great. I have been going there for over eight years. They make the pizza in the San Gabriel Valley. There large will feed at least six. Order more cheese and sauce for a great taste experience. more

Best Pizza in the SGV! 5/30/2002

Ok, now honestly, this place is hands-down, by-far, the best pizza in the SGV. Maybe even So. Cal. If not that, it's definitely a worthy contender. Order garlic as a topping too if you don't mind your breath stinking. more
