Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair.

LG washer repair in West Hollywood is not easy to find. I hired Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair to take a look at our Maytag washer. It has been reliable until recently, a small amount of water started to appear, we were concerned that a new machine was needed. Paul's was excellent in diagnosing the problem with our washer and gave us a quote, we were going to fix the machine, however, David, suggested not to. How many companies are really interested in what is best for the customer? No many in my experience. David took his time to explain why not to fix the machine and gave us his professional recommendation on what machine to buy. I appreciate their honest and forthcoming opinion. I am a apartment house manager, after having previous appliance repair experiences that were terrible, I was not looking forward to finding a company to work on my washing machine. But after discovering Paul's Washer & Dryer Repair, I have renewed faith that knowledgeable, quality and honest repair people do still exist! Paul's Washer & Dryer repair is a hands-on, personal service company. Paul's s is not a huge company with a frustrating automated phone system. I spoke to Dave about a washer part than needed to be replaced. He took the time to discuss it with me, which also showed that he was completely familiar with the problem. David recommended that I have my dryer cleaned out at the same time since I never had that service performed before. He quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone and gave me an actual appointment time (unlike the big service contract companies that give you a window of four hours). David and Oscar were timely, professional, clean and courteous. They removed and replaced the part on my washer and also checked out my dryer. David said that my dryer was very clean as it was, and therefore didn't t need further cleaning. He added that doing unnecessary work can sometimes bring about other issues. He could have easily gone through the motions of cleaning my dryer and charged me for it, but he didn't t. So I ended up paying less than what I had been quoted. After doing our research we discovered Paul's Service. We gave them a call and David, the owner, answered the phone, spending his time we were given an estimate. Words of praising for a deserving company. Our Frigidaire front-load washing machine was making the banging noise which was of concern to us. We called a few companies, they were nice enough but did not take their time in talking with us. Our LG washer was leaking all over the place, obviously we needed repair and had to have company who knows what they are doing. I do considerable research on all home projects, which lead me to call Paul's Service. There are several do-it-yourself website which indicated that our "lid-switch," had failed. I was impressed by Paul's in taking their time in talking with us on the phone. With a wait time of one-week we began to search the internet for a local business who could address our repair in an expedient manner. Our research pointed to several local businesses, we called and spoke with several people. It is was Paul's Service who was able to convey a sense of professionalism. It was clear that Paul was knowledgeable and willing to take his time to give us an estimate over the phone. We scheduled an appointment. An exceptional Family-Owned Business. We just called Paul's Service and spoke with David. Taking his time on the phone, approximately 10 minutes, it was clear that what needed to do was purchase a new machine not pay the fee for repair. We called several companies to no avail in getting a straight answer as to what could be possibly wrong with the machine. For his time we offered David a gift card to Coffee Bean which he gladly accepted. David is not even out of the elevator in my building as I sit to write this. VERY professional expertise, but delivered with a folksy, comfortable manner. Minor leak in old stacking washer and dryer. Minor but chronic. David offered earlier appointments that I could not accept due to my work schedule and David showed up right when he said he would Monday morning. He knew immediately how to fix the problem and a couple of others, had the parts in his truck and even ordered a light bulb that I have not been able to replace for years, and years. He is going to drop it at my door this afternoon. I would recommend him to anyone. I would guess that if someone gets uppity or snooty it does not go down well. If you want an honest, capable repairman, like the guy who used to fix stuff for your mother, call David. He is of that generation where manners and geniality are important. 5 stars!!
