If it were possible I would give this place a negative score. They never laid a hand on my car, instead relying on the machine to wash it. There was still road tar and bugs all over my car after they were through with it.The machine is no different than any other automated car wash that you can drive through for less than $10. It cost me $27.00 for the most basic wash. From now on I'll either do it myself or help a a little league team, girl scouts, etc. who will wash it by hand. I always pay extra and tip well for good service, but I joined this website specifically to tell everyyone to avoid this business. more

I read the negative reviews about Pat's car wash. However, Pat donated a free $22 mid-grade inside and out car wash to my Church (Winter Haven Church Of God) just for the asking. They cleaned our 15 passenger van great and then Pat himself (nice guy) walks over and says hi to me. He wants to help us with a fundraiser we're having after the first of the year. I gotta say that I am impressed. Hey, thanks Pat - your'e awesome. By the way, a nice young man named Eric really went the extra mile on the van. God bless you. more

I dont think this even deserves 1 star. I had only gone there once before after buying a new car in Winter Haven. This yime we went after going to the dealer for an issue and stopped by there again on the way home. The car I bought was in PRISTINE condition.....not a scratch on it. After the wash....the full deal, inside and out.....we got in the car.....the front door was open for me.....and drove off. When we got to the next destination.....I noticed tiny scratches on the drivers door just below the handle. We turned around and went directly back. The ""manager"" kid cvame over and told us they had NEVER had an issue before and that the owner probably was not going to do anything about it but he would get him. When he came out....I told him what had happened and he started saying there was no way that could happen cuz they use soft washing.....which my husband knew was not the case. Dirt particles can get into them if they are not properly cared for. Then he didn't even look at the scratches, started yelling at my husband and pointing his finger at him and cursing. Then he told us to get off his property and not to come back....which we will not....and he said ""SO....SUE ME"".....which I am thinking about.. I have documentation that this car was PERFECT just 20 minutes before this. STAY CLEAR of this place.......he is an ass and has no business being in a customer service business. more

What has happened to Pat's. I have used this facitlity many many times over the past years, but the last couple times I was terribly dissappointed. The bottom half of my car wasn't even touched. It's a new car and I thought the shape must have been the problem with the brushes. The interior was hardly touched. Nothing like the service that I was accustomed to. I was under the impression that there was a new owner or manager that wasn't keeping up with the reputation that Pat's had. But to my surprise, my good friend went there yesterday and had an extremely bad experience. The interior of her car wasn't touched except for the dash. She had the deluxe package, she was very dissapointed and pointed out what was missed. They gave her a towel and she was cleaning the door jams, wiping down the seats and wiping out the cup holders where cigarette ashes were. She asked to talk with the owner and ""Pat"" came out and said he was the owner and told her to get off his property. What kind of customer service is this. I will never go back either. There is a wonderful car wash on 6th street and even closer to my home. They are closed on Sun and Mon, so that's why I always made to extra trip down to Cypress Gardens Blvd. Now I wil be making sure I wash my car Tue - Sat at a place that is grateful for my business. Pass the word, so people don't get ripped off like I have and my girlfriend. This is such a shame that this once fine business has gone down the tubes. more

I went here specifically to have the love bugs removed from my car. Now there is a sign that says that they only guarantee removal if using a premium wash, so I paid for the highest exterior only wash. Still had bugs. So I went to complain. The manager glanced at my receipt and threw it back on the counter and as he is walking away, he mumbled something about signage and crediting me the difference on a higher priced car wash. I didn't want the interior of my car washed, just the bugs removed. I couldn't convey this to him though, because he was already gone. Obviously, this is a frequent issue because he already had his response ready as did the cashier. THe sign should say that the exterior only wash doesn't removed the bugs. Bait and switch in my opinion??? Oh, I gave one star because this won't allow no stars. more

For the basic wash of $21.95 the service was horrible. When entering you are asked what service? Why do the ask what you want when they do not listen? I wanted the love bugs off the window and bumper and tires washed. Needless to say I spent another hour at home redoing what they done. more

Pat's Car Wash has been around for years - never had a problem before. But if something does go wrong - watch out - denial is what you get! I am 100% positive the scratch on my passenger side door, low behind the tire was caused by Pat's Car Wash. I explained that my car is only 3 weeks old - 2010. It is Christmas Eve and I wanted to give the car it's first car wash. This is not the kind of scratch you would get from a parking lot. He asked me how I think this could have happened at his car wash! Well...there are many possibilities, the track the car is on, the equipment, human error - whatever. I could barely get a word in, he (owner Pat Murray) kept interrupting and denying that it didn't happen there. All new car owners are ridiculously careful while driving & parking - I'm not the only one who parks way in the back of a lot, so no one is by me. I KNOW it happened at Pat's. I told him I am not looking for money - I'm a honest person and thought he would want to know this happened, to prevent it from happening to someone else. And frankly, I wanted him to fix it - it's a brand-new car!! It is bad business to be hostile & rude and deny remote possibility - It doesn't matter if you don't know how it happened, figure it out instead of arguing with the customer!!! Go research, talk to your employees! I felt I was talking to a 5 yr. old. I had just checked the car prior to having it washed - this is a very visible mark against a dark exterior - a deep scratch down to the metal - I wouldn't have missed it! He offered to have his guys fix it if I brought back touch-up paint, but by then I was exhausted. Not once did I have a harsh or accusing tone. I was very calm, he was very defensive. So much persuasion to admit that it could've been you after all! I was appauled by his manner and offended by his treatment. He spoke to me with no respect, very unprofessional. I'm a business owner myself - no one should do business that way. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO PAT'S - IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK. 20$ for a car wash. Once I got home, I realized that they hadn't vacuumed all of the car and that the front console hadn't been wiped down, I pulled out my car wipes and, after wiping it down, had 2 crummy, dirty wipes. A BIG rip off! Pros: Fast Cons: Terrible work more

Pat's washed my car today, and skinned a lot of paint off of my driver-front hubcap. I notified the manager on duty, and he first came and used his fingernail to scrape off all of the paint remnants that had been scraped off of the hubcap. At that time he said ""This rim has been curbed"". I told him that this was not true. He then stated that he would get the owner. After a few minutes, he reappeared, and stated that ""the help"" had notified him that the hubcap was already damaged. I advised him that this simply was not true. The damage was brand new, and he knew it. He returned a few minutes later with the owner, who walked around the car, and stated ""Well, this car's got some other scratches. I'm glad you think enough of it to wash it, but that was existing damage"" I told the owner that this was not true, and that the damage was brand new. He then cussed at me, and told me that he wasn't going to argue with me. Do not take your car to Pat's. Pros: Skilled at hostility, profanity and denial. I only gave a one star rating because you have to give some sort of rating to publish a review. I took my car to Pat's and when it was damaged while drying. I expected to be met with professionalism but was met with hostility and denial by both the manager and owner. The damage was all done on the driver's side by the employee working on that side of my vehicle. My car had (from the quotes) between $1400-$1700 in damage. While being dried the employee must have been wearing a ring or dropped his chamois in gravel. The scratches were in a very distinct pattern and the scratches were all matching. I am positive the scratches were not there prior to the wash and the car is garage kept. When I tried to take pictures of the damage I could only get reflections of the sky and clouds while outside or the garage ceiling when it was inside. My car has the typical very minor scratches but has nothing major and not even a door ding. I have worked hard to keep my vehicle as nice as possible and often took my car to Pat's to be cleaned. But with the response I received from the owner Pat Murray and his manager Lyn I will not return. Pros: the vacuums work Cons: you might drive away with a damaged vehicle more
