I've seen Leda for 9 months now, and at my last appointment in March she used eco-friendly green dye that left my hair as healthy as ever. There was no compromise in the quality of highlights, they're still as natural yet noticeable as ever - but I've also noticed a difference in the health and texture of my hair since. It doesn't feel colored; it feels as healthy as when I've gone without color of any kind for a year and a half. The products smelled great without all the chemicals highlights typically come with and the end result is fantastic. I had a free consultation with the owner, Patricia, who was awesome. She showed me how to clip the extensions in, which is so simple, and we spent time looking at the amazing color selection. They are so easy to put in; I wear my new hair extensions religiously. The clip in hair extensions look so natural, that when my friends saw them on me for the first time they were totally confused and they couldn’t understand why my hair looked so much longer than usual. So after reading all the great reviews I thought I would give Patricia Hair Extensions Salon a try. Had a 5pm appointment for a one step color and cut. Having no idea exactly what I wanted.The receptionist is a doll. Jessica was my stylist. She took a look at my dreadful hair and asked Patricia for a consult. My hair was several shades of blonde from self coloring, dry and long.Instead of a one color process I got three Color, highlights and gloss. The color came out darker than I expected, but it looks fabulous. I love it.Then came the cut, I told Jessica, please don't cut it too short, but other than that go to town. Well the cut came out spectacular. They stayed late to finish with me, a second stylist helped out with blowing my hair (because I have a lot of it)Everyone was nice and friendly.I will defiantly go back and recommend to my friends and co workers. Patricia did a beautiful job cutting and coloring my hair. I was a little nervous to get highlights in my hair but she was very cautious and understanding of my neurotic-ness. I have been looking for a salon for a long time and I found the BEST. I have been going to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon for a long time and I am always looking forward to get my hair done. I found the salon here on City Search after I had a bad dye job from another place. My hair was a wreck when I walked in the salon I had at least 6 different colors on my head. As I walked in I was greeted with a smile by the lovely receptionist. The salon was very busy at the time and I had booked for a single process to fix my hair. Little did I know that I was a color correction, Patricia looked at my hair with one of the junior stylist and said it can be fixed up to 90% and will get better over time. I told her I wanted to be a natural looking blonde. She was right I think it was 1000% better. As time progressed my friends have noticed how healthy my hair is and I get complements everywhere I go. I've never had long hair until I started coming to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon. I think I may have been spoiled by this salon because I can't see myself going anywhere else and expect the same treatment and have excellent hair at the same time. I have gone to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon for haircuts, facials and waxing, and it's always been a great experience. Nico is super-creative and always gives me a stunning cut. Jessica and Leda are very gentle and precise and sweet. They both truly enjoy making me look good. Actually that's the vibe I get from the whole salon: friendly, low-key, professional, excited about their work. I never feel I'm being pushed to buy anything, but the minute I ask about a product, everyone knows exactly what to recommend to me and why (for my skin or hair type, etc.). You feel like you're in very capable hands with these guys, which are nice because other places have this kind of factory feel – like they're churning you down an assembly line. But at Patricia Hair Extensions Salon the people always have time to answer questions and discuss Hair Extensions and whatever. It's a cute space, too, with hand-picked art on the walls – I always feel like I'm sneaking into some private hideaway or little club. It seems to be part of a really cool, evolving neighborhood salon. I recommend the place to friends and out-of-towners alike, and a few of my recommendations have turned into regulars. I would like to say grateful and appreciative I am to these extensions and to Patricia first off. Sound a little funny but for anyone who has said this on these reviews, this goes true for me. I wear my hair extensions religiously, you could almost say it's an infatuation, and also because they are so comfortable. Like anyone who has damaged hair, I walked around depressed for a long time looking at the after and damaging effects of bleaching, dying and straightening my hair. Very unhappy, I had thought about getting extensions on a couple of occasions. But every other place was extremely pricey and I was certainly was not planning on paying a lot of money for glue or tracks to be stuck in my hair and have it anymore damaged and unable to grow. Highly addictive, impressive, beautiful and top notch is all I have to say about the service and the products of everything that goes into Patricia Hair Extensions Salon. I really have to say over and over that I just cannot even begin to express my gratitude and I would like to say just how sweet, knowledgeable and patient Patricia is. She was extremely helpful. She helped me pick out the colors; they matched perfectly practice putting them in, stayed with me literally for two hours until I had complete understanding and were comfortable putting them in. Now it's safe to say they look so real, and so beautiful, absolutely stunning. Its definitely is a well boost of self esteem and has a remarkable feeling that makes you feel so beautiful. Everyone I know is impressed with them especially me of course, and the best thing is no one can tell, they also last for a long time. I've already gone back a second time to get more pieces. I live in Manhattan and I travel to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon every 6 weeks to color and cut my hair. Jessica does my color and she really is a superstar, and she is so down to earth. She really was on point with my color and gave me great advice on how to protect and nourish my hair. Jessica was extremely busy but still took the time to personally see if I liked what she had done. I will continue to use her as long as she is in business. My hair was highlighted by Leda and she is fabulous and she showed me how to blow dry my hair. She is my new favorite. If you have not been to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon you must try it. more

I absolutely love these hair extensions. I found the website, and then scheduled an appointment with Patricia. I absolutely loved her She was so friendly and funny. She had long hair so when I asked her if she was currently wearing them, she smiled and then she took a few pieces out of her hair and then put them back in her hair within like 10 seconds. I couldn't believe it. It was so cool. So she had me try on a sample and I loved it. She then matched my colors and I have brown hair with golden highlights and darkish lowlights. I placed the order then she showed me exactly how to put them in. It's so easy to put them in. Then they were custom-made for me in 3 days and I wore them out that night. I have had the pleasure of knowing Patricia since my youth, and seeing everything she has accomplished only makes me want to work as hard and know as much as she does. I walked into Patricia Hair Extensions Salon with buffalo wing colored hair, no exaggeration. A girl who did my hair was helping me go from dark almost black hair back to my natural color, a soft ash brown. In the process of stripping and bleaching my hair, I was in the reds and oranges of hair color. Since I am familiar with hair color and processing, I knew something was wrong. Patricia explained everything to me properly and that no further damage would be done. The correction took less than 2 hours, and I ended up with my natural color back, with glaze and semi permanent color. I should have left the job to a professional so I would not have had to suffer for the past week and a half. Amazingly, I kept the strength and softness of my hair. I'll thank my genes and Patricia’s concern for healthy hair since I am only 21. I am so happy with the results. I am due in 4 weeks for a touch up, and I look forward to being happy with it instead of hiding how I really feel. The girls who took care of me were excellent and friendly, blown out and colored to perfection. Don't leave a job like this to anyone but Patricia. I look forward to my next appointment. more

I just moved to the Queens area not too long ago and have been tirelessly searching for a stylist I could trust with my hair. Upon hearing great reviews from friends who have been long time clients of Patricia Hair Extensions Salon, I figured I’d check it out for myself and am I glad I did it. I arrived at the salon at 2:50 for my 3pm appointment. The young girls at the front desk were very welcoming and pointed me in the direction to get a robe. When I sat down in the chair with Nico, I already knew I was in for a treat. Before starting anything, Nico and I spoke of what I was looking to have done and I told Nico that how my long hair is very important to me but I’ve been wanting a new look without losing too much of my length, but I needed something that was going to make my hair look healthy after years of coloring and flat ironing it. Nico took it from there... About 40 minutes later, Nico turned my chair facing the mirror so I could see the masterpiece. What was once long damaged dull hair had been turned into a head full of healthy voluminous hair. I swear I've never seen my hair look so good.
