I had my consultation when a couple of her clients were there getting their maintenance done. Their hair had NO damage, so I was like ""sign me up"" The installation was quite quick and in a few short hours I had long hair again that perfectly matched my own hair. Patricia truly is an artist in every sense of the word. I promise you will not be disappointed. Honestly the nicest most talented people you will ever meet. My experience with Patricia and staff was exceptional. She is a master. My hair is incredible. I have had a million compliments and she matched my real hair perfectly. I have been going to Patricia's Hair Extensions Salon for years. They are a few blocks away right on Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens. Yesterday, I had a hair color and cut, with one of their newest employees Jessica. She is an adorable stylist, and had a great sense of humor. She did a great job on my hair color, actually came out the exact way that I wanted. They make great coffee also, make sure you get a cup! I am so glad I found Patricia Hair Extensions Salon 2 Years ago. I have had two very bad experiences with two different salons that put extensions in my hair before I met Patricia. I honestly thought there was no hope except to wear a wig the rest of my life. Patricia and her staff not only matched my hair perfect, in 2 years only 3 Extensions came out which Patricia put back in at my convince. Patricia is so personable and she has the best prices and quality of hair. On one of my bad experiences at another salon my hair tangled so badly, I had to pay them to get the tangles out, which they pulled half of my real hair out. With Patricia Hair Extensions Salon it has been only been a positive experience. I can't even describe how happy I am with the hair extensions I've received from Patricia hair extensions salon, I can't imagine not ever having them, I love them so much. I am a busy mom, and never thought I'd be getting hair extensions, but a couple years ago my normally thick hair started thinning to the point of losing its former luster and volume.It really depressed me and made me feel older than I was. I do the copper hair coil in the back 6 rows, and I have been one and half months my hair is growing a lot. My hair cannot to braid it is too light braids fall off. I have been getting extensions for quite some time, and was tired of tracks. I tried Brazilian knot extensions somewhere else, but my hair did not agree with this type of extensions. It broke off really bad. Also the person, who did the extensions, didn't know where to put them so they fall naturally. It was important to me to find someone who knows how to put them in, cut style them and take care of my own natural hair. So I tried these Patricia hair extensions, I did not want anything that involved glue because I knew it was not good for how I style my hair. It worked out well. It last me about 5months, and I will do it again. I am very pleased. I would recommend this place. more

I must admit, I am a hair salon hopper. If someone does my hair badly I will not got back. I was confused about the pricing at first but it was explained to me, the smaller you wanted your hair done, the less detectable it would be, the longer it would take and more it would cost. Went in for the consultation, the stylists was very educated in the different extension types. Patricia found a texture that matched my hair which I liked. There was a young lady there trying to argue with the stylist that she wanted to put in silky hair, and the girls hair looked like a brillo pad. I appreciate a person who will be honest about what looks natural and what does not. Anyway, the girl insisted that silky hair be put into her nowhere near shiny/silky coarse hair. The stylist warned her would not look natural. I found this to be very odd because A natural look is very important to me and that is what I got. It is very sad when black people want to believe their hair texture is anything other than what it is. I am glad she picked the hair that looked natural on me, I got the fusion type and that included my hair. Unlike other extension places I've been to she actually knew how to cut and style hair as well. I will be going back to her again. more

I saw Patricia a few weeks ago for my hair extensions and from my visit up to now I have been very happy with my decision to visit her. I can't believe the poor reviews that she did a bad job because mine look amazing. I am Caucasian with naturally normal, slightly wavy, mid-back length layered hair and my tracks have held up very well. You cannot tell whatsoever that I am wearing any hair extensions. Patricia is very professional. You must go to her, don't let anyone else do your hair there. Been going here for over 2 years now, and very happy with my hair, its growing very nicely after I had micros done that ripped out my edges. My hair is in great shape which is important to me, some people want to wear weaves forever, and I need my hair to still be healthy when I take the weave out. When I came to Patricia Hair Extensions Salon I was in dire need of help to repair my hair. I had been getting different extensions for over a year and with over possessing of my bleach blonde hair I was literally going bald. Patricia was the first person I called, I found her on Google. When I came for my consultation, she quoted me a price that was significantly lower than my pervious hairdresser and she would give me more hair for a better price. Another plus was that she was willing to come in early to do my hair because it takes a long time and it’s really convientant to get it done early in the day than wasting my whole day in a salon. Well, that was about a year ago, and since then I have recently died my hair black brown. But even before that, Patricia really helped the condition of my hair from fried blonde to soft smooth hair.
