I must admit, I am a hair salon hopper. If someone does my hair badly I will not got back. I was confused about the pricing at first but it was explained to me, the smaller you wanted your hair done, the less detectable it would be, the longer it would take and more it would cost. Went in for the consultation, the stylists was very educated in the different extension types. Patricia found a texture that matched my hair which I liked. There was a young lady there trying to argue with the stylist that she wanted to put in silky hair, and the girls hair looked like a brillo pad. I appreciate a person who will be honest about what looks natural and what does not. Anyway, the girl insisted that silky hair be put into her nowhere near shiny/silky coarse hair. The stylist warned her would not look natural.
I found this to be very odd because A natural look is very important to me and that is what I got. It is very sad when black people want to believe their hair texture is anything other than what it is. I am glad she picked the hair that looked natural on me, I got the fusion type and that included my hair. Unlike other extension places I've been to she actually knew how to cut and style hair as well. I will be going back to her again.
