We have been a Papalia customer for over a decade. I'm sure there are less expensive options, but Papalia has consistently provided responsive and quality service, and particularly outstanding customer service. Most recently, we needed to have a bathroom faucet replaced. Oddly, this time out the customer service wasn't quite there: maybe it was a bad summer Friday afternoon for the technicians, but there was a bit of back and forth with the office that wasn't expected, not as courteous as we have come to expect. The work did get done. However, we noticed on Saturday night that the pipe was leaking under the sink. I called on Sunday to let them know we had an issue. The answering service was great, and Crystal called me back promptly. She immediately offered first available service for the following Monday. Unfortunately, we were traveling on Monday, and didn't want to wait over a week until we returned to get this taken care of. Crystal went above and beyond, convincing her Sunday emergency technician to come to our house and fix the leak before we left. Both Crystal and the tech -- I believe it was Mike S? -- were terrific and responsive and extremely courteous. This is why we use Papalia. Mike was great 6/1/2019

Mike understood my problem (shower leaking, need to replace valve) and told me what might be causing it and things I could do to help. Then he gave me the fixed quote for the job ($477 -- seemed a little pricey which is why I gave only 4 stars) and got to work. He was soon back with a small piece of plastic (probably original packaging material) that had been left somewhere in the valve by the original installers. This was the culprit, job price dropped to $147 for disassembling and cleaning valve, and shower no longer drips. more

Pricing 5/16/2019

We have two bathrooms. Another vendor replaced an entire toilet with a high rise toilet for just over $500. Papalia charged us over $400 for 50 minutes work in replacing the inner works of our existing toilet. Seems somewhat pricey. more

Professional...VERY EXPENSIVE 1/26/2019

Had a pipe burst and no running water in a house of 5. Papalia was very responsive and sent someone the next day. The plumber arrived at the promised time and did an expert job replacing 6 inches of PVC with copper. My only complaint was the fee (I was told of the fee before the work, but didn't have a choice). The plumber was at my house for 45 minutes and the total bill was $515. I would certainly use them again in an emergency. But they are at least 2x what I would expect for a plumber. more

I've ordered from Papalia Plumbing plumbing works for remodeling my bathroom. Scott and Pete has done excellent work for me. Starting from estimate, recommendations, installing new pipelines, valves, accessories for the bathroom - they have done I've ordered from Papalia Plumbing plumbing works for remodeling my bathroom. They spent 3 days, worked hard, they are very friendly, they like dogs, they resolved all the problems in very professional and, friendly fashion. Branden and Crystal 1/14/2019

I had no heat on a very cold Sunday morning and both Crystal and Branden were very helpful in getting things working again! I have always been pleased with Papalia's service but this was extraordinary seeing it was on a weekend and I was concerned that I was going to be in the cold! I am sorry it took so long to figure out how to use this site. You should allow people to post some other way and not having to be a member of social media seeing many people do not use it as it is not safe! more

Francis L did a great job fixing our heating problem. The person who worked on it before him had incorrectly wired the system and Francis identified the problem, explained it thoroughly, and fixed it to our satisfaction. more

Outrageous quote 12/15/2018

I contacted Papalia to connect a sink in my kitchen. When the plumber arrived at my home he said the work would cost me $950!! I was stunned and outraged that they would charge me so much money for this simple task that should take no more than 15 minutes. I declined the work and found someone else who did it for $180. more

Hot Water Problem 12/12/2018

Technician came out and diagnosed problem right away and did short term fix to get hot water heater back on line... For HVAC issue, Papalia Plumbing has proven many times to be the best. High confidence level on their ability to diagnose and fix problems without repeat visits! more

I've been using them for 15years. They are very responsive and they always come when they say they will be there (the other day I called and they were at my house within half an hour!) The technicians are knowledgeable, polite, and explain everything. They'll give you a quote if additional work needs to be done. I've recommended them to anyone who asks for the name of a plumber. more

I found Francis to be knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to explain any questions I had. And he had come out with a ticket that implied he was to research a cracked heat exchanger when I had left a request for a bid for a new furnace. None the less he took pictures, called the office, and talked to Dave about my request. Dave is going to come out in a day or two to look things over and make the bid. So Francis went the extra step for me to make sure Papalia met my needs. Thanks. more
