DO NOT USE OASIS Moving & Storage if you want:\r
1. ALL of your belongings to arrive\r
2. to pay the BINDING estimate/quote\r
3. to receive UNDAMAGED furniture\r
\r
I was given a binding estimate which means that the price you were quoted is what you pay. I received a call from a different rep, after my load was picked up (early a.m.), and told that the amount owed upon delivery was hundreds more than my set price. This was over and beyond the additional charges for extra packing and crating that I expected. I explained to the rep of my binding estimate and he immediately became rude, obnoxious and accused me of not wanting to pay. I told him that I had no problem paying, I just have a problem paying an inflated amount. I was livid but agreed to pay because he gave me the impression that he wouldn't deliver if I didn't agree to pay. DO THEY WAIT UNTIL THEY GET ALL OF YOUR STUFF ON THEIR TRUCK AND BAMBOOZLE YOU INTO PAYING MUCH MUCH MORE....OR ELSE?\r

Once they arrived (the next day or so); the new place was 4 1/2 hours away, they appeared to be rushing to get things off of the truck, as if to avoid me noticing anything. Although I'm extremely organized and particular, I didn't catch everything before they left. I later noticed that several items were missing. Equipment (thera-ball, etc) that pertained to my job as a physical therapist was missing. However, I did notice the many deep scratches/damage on my wood furnishings (bed frame, dressers, couch legs, tray tables, etc) and the TOTAL DESTRUCTION of a 1-month old $450 rotating wood DVD/CD tower. They placed it in a corner of a room and hurried away so that I wouldn't notice that is was leaning excessively to one side, pieces missing, parts destroyed, wood chips everywhere! Thank God I had additional insurance. But that didn't fully reimburse me for all of my losses. The DVD tower was a total loss, I got nothing! and I paid extra for them to crate it!\r
