Now I'm head bartender 12/8/2006

I had an awesome time at New York Bartending School. Everyone was really great ! I got hired about a week after I graduated @ The Manhattan Bistro. I learned so much that the other bartenders are asking me to teach them some of the cool drinks I know. Now I'm the head bartender. Thanks so much guys! Fun + Challenging 12/8/2006

First off, I attended the free class. I've just moved to New York, and figured I needed a well-paying job, and bartending was the field I chose. I navigated the website, went to the free class, and I knew this school was good. The instructor created a very focused learning atmosphere. I came in on Monday not knowing a thing (just that I like to drink anything). Now, I know the basics and a good surplus of drinks than I ever thought possible. Pros: Learning! more

I made a research on msn. I really liked the design of web-site, and comments of students. Even thogh, I don't have a lot of knowladge about drink, this school helped me to know the basic ones. The Teacher really wants to teach her students. She has high requires but i highly reccomend her. All of classes were enjoyable. more

I joined this school because I read all these reviews.. They didn't come through on job placement. Now I want to know: how much of my wasted $700 tuition went to pay the person who sits there writing all these reviews? Pros: informative class Cons: inept "job placement" dept. more

It seemed to be the most reputable and professional of all the ones Ive seen, & I LOVED the trial class! The instructor allowed us to do our best without being too pressuring. He let everyone be at their own pace. We all love him! Pros: speed drills & ""stump the bartender"" games more

The school seemed to cover the most, the staff was friendly and the environment was comfortable. We learned alot very quickly and were comfortable by mid-week. I was impressed that I could learn so much and be confident. The instructor was very knowledgeable and open. Pros: Learning the drinks at the stations were alot of fun more

Brian was really nice, very informative. He was just real and didn't sugar coat anything which made it easier for us to learn. My favorite part was when we made mojitos. Pros: Making real mojito's- Yum. more
