Awesome Bathroom Remodeling Job 5/14/2011

We selected New Creations to completely remodel our guest bathroom and they did a fantastic job. The project involved a complete demolition of the bathroom down to the studs and slab, replacement of sheetrock and ceiling, installing a new larger bathtub and shower, moving of the tub and toiler drains (involving jackhammering new holes in the slab, installing Travertine tile on the floor and in the tub and shower area, installing a new toilet, installing a Silestone countertop, new sink and sink hardware, installing a new can light and over the sink light, ""un-popcorning"" the ceiling, and painting. Throughout the process, New Creations kept us constantly updated on the schedule and progress with their online Bootcamp project system, they were extremely courteous and sensitive to all our needs and concerns, they kept the areas of the house adjacent to the work area immaculately, and they were fanatical about making sure that everything was done to perfection. The cost was reasonable and came in exactly as quoted. Finally, you simply won't find a nicer group of people to work with - Roy and Jeremy (the project manager) are two of the most genuinely decent people we have had the privilege to work with. more

We love our new kitchen!! 5/9/2011

We couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel. Roy and the NC team took a 1967 L-shaped galley style kitchen (with original appliances!!) and turned it into an open, sophisticated space that we enjoy daily. From the outset, Roy,Troy, and the entire NC team were extremely organized. Every detail had a line item on the contract, so there was very little ""nickel and diming."" This was a big project which included demolition, window and door installation, wood floor installation, new AC ducts, custom cabinets, granite countertops, and a custom granite table top. They even helped to rework the support in the attic to accommodate the removal of one load bearing wall. The NC team was phenomenal. James, the electrician, took my call during the UT/OU game to help solve a electrical problem. Lisa, the floor and tile diva, was amazing and always accessible. Larry, the plumber, solved and issue for us in our attic that we were completely unaware of. Greg, the cabinet guru, stayed late into the night to help solve a framing issue. Jeremy, my project manager, was invaluable in his assistance. He was always available via email or text and always followed up with any issue we were managing. Troy, our scheduling superhero, always kept us up to date on the who, what, where, why and when. And then there's Roy...whose excitement and persistence about his work is uncontainable. Roy's patience and guidance through a sometimes difficult project put me at ease. And did I mention the cleanliness of ALL of the crews??? There was never a speck of dust or a piece of trash left behind by ANY of the subs that NC employs. No company or project is perfect, which is the only reason for my 4 stars, and we are still managing some small post-completion details. Yet even after the project is done and the bill has been paid, I am amazed at the response I get from the NC team in helping us resolve these issues. The entire team takes great pride in what they do, and it shows! Thanks to New Creations for a job well done! more

New Creations is the REAL DEAL!! 3/22/2011

We recently had New Creations remodel our kitchen and we could not be happier with the results! Roy, Jeremy, and Troy managed the project to perfection and the craftsmanship and attention to detail are perfect. New Creations has a beautiful design center that is functional and allows you to create a vision of your project by piecing together the different aspects of the remodel. We were able to match a countertop, backsplash, and cupboards to our liking and see them in person at their design center. This is very valuable in making such a big decision and it gives you peace of mind as you move into the project. The web based portal to track project milestones and progress was very helpful and it also allows the customer to input information or ask questions. We loved being able to check the site on a daily basis and track the project ourselves without always having to make a phone call to the New Creations Team. Troy could not have been more helpful and caring throughout the project and he stayed in touch with us on a daily basis. Jeremy and Roy both have a great ability to create a vision that is very helpful in the design phase of the project and they do a great job of making sure everyone is comfortable before taking action. They were more than willing to work around our dog and each of the sub contractors were very nice, clean, and meticulous. The project moved fast and they limited the time that we were without electricity and water - this was much appreciated :) We highly recommend New Creations for a lot of reasons but most importantly, they do exactly what they say they are going to do. They bring high quality work, a huge customer focus, and a level of integrity and caring that sets them apart from other contractors. These guys truly will make sure every last detail is to your liking and they won't stop until you are 100% satisfied. These characteristics are hard to find in contractors these days but New Creations is not the norm. They are simply the best in the business and the REAL DEAL when it comes to remodels. Condo Remodel 3/3/2011

\r Quality, Integrity and Trust define the New Creations Team.\r \r Roy Faust, New Creations owner has compiled a team that is awesome. In my opinion a man’s character and integrity is reflected through the people that represent him and Roy has accomplished this. \r \r Our New Creations project was managed by Troy Hester, Office Manager, who did a stellar job of keeping us apprised of the daily schedule with an online project scheduling tool that was beneficial in helping us to keep track of our project. Jeremy Vincik, Project Manager, is an amazing young man with excellent people skills and I can’t say enough about him, except that he was always personable and tuned to detail. \r \r The project at our condo was a total kitchen and bath remodel, with granite countertops and new cabinets. Our condo does not look like the same place; it’s fabulous! Chris Holland with CF Stone Works did a great job with our granite and the craftsmanship on our cabinets is just amazing thanks to Winston Cave with Texas Unique Custom Cabinets. The cabinets are awesome.\r \r Of course, the credit goes to Roy Faust for putting this entire project together. It all started at his design center and the end result is just amazing. It was most reassuring to know that the most important thing to Roy and his team throughout the project was that we were completely satisfied with the entire process. Best Contractor Experience Ever! 2/3/2011

Our kitchen was every bit the quintessential galley model from the 1980s?skinny, appliance doors bumping cabinet doors, and finished with wood laminate running across the countertops, backsplash, and even surrounding the yellow-plastic-encased fluorescent light fixture. The builder even added a wall to divide it from the living and formal dining area, complete with a tiny square window so the tired cook would watch the 5 o?clock news while she heated up TV dinners in her faux wood prison. Obviously, I had major issues with my kitchen. more

Well Handled BIG remodeling project. You want these guys. 11/11/2010

We hired Roy and his team to handle a remodel of a 30+ year old kitchen, living room , entry way,bath and dining room along with tiling from back to front. Our project was a big one, and comprehensive. We had his crew install multiple windows, electrical, countertop, custom cabinetry, and an original cabinet piece along with raising ceiling, moving ducts, and installing new lighting. They also tiled about 1000 square feet. From the onset, Roy and Troy and their staff were on a set schedule. We received weekly and at times daily progress updates which helped us know what to expect next. We are a big family with a dog and it was necessary for the timing to be right so that all parties knew what to expect. The company's strict adherence to their plans and informing us of any changes and modifying the schedule allowed us to all go along together. The subs that he used were appropriate, respectful, and consistent in keeping with Roy's overall plan, and you could tell that they had been both well informed of expectations, as well as trained on a consistent level of customer service that the company intended to provide. Any concerns that we had were addressed quickly. Any issues or conflicts that arose were dealt with directly, without excuses. The team's handling of the project top to bottom left little to be desired, and at the end of it all, even though we did this project during the hottest part of the summer, I would have done it again. At all times we felt that there was an available person to handle a concern or arrive at a resolution. They take their work very personally, and it showed in our satisfaction and in the end product. I highly endorse Roy, Troy and their team for this type of work, and will add that they are pleasant and professional to deal with as well. more

The house we always wanted! 10/12/2010

It is never easy to undertake a remodeling project. Instead of doing just our kitchen, we opted to remodel our entire downstairs which included our kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom and bathroom. We essentially packed up our belongings and moved upstairs for 4 months. But what an amazing investment it was. We are now the envy of all of our friends and neighbors. New Creations did a fantastic job with our remodel. They were quick to adjust to our last minute requests and slight design adjustments and the completed project/ workmanship was just fantastic. Our custom cabinets in the kitchen/bathroom in particular are absolutely gorgeous. We were pleased with the end result but also experienced excellent customer service from Roy and Troy throughout the project. We are very happy customers and now look forward to taking on our upstairs in the near future! more

New Creations Kitchen Remodel 10/4/2010

We recently embarked upon a project to give our kitchen a face-lift. After researching a full remodel and replacement of our perfectly good (but just ugly) kitchen cabinets, we stumbled across the New Creations website and found out about an alternative to replacement. Having been down the remodel road and found that complete replacement was not something that on which we wanted to spend too much money, we met with the New Creations crew to see what they had to offer. Their showroom featured many different styles of refaced cabinets complete with interchangeable countertop surfaces and backsplashes so we were able to get a very good sense of how our material selections would combine to create an overall look. This was extremely helpful to see and quite a contrast to having to guesstimate with tiny samples at many other providers. \r Once we understood the re-facing process and the timeline, we were certain that this was a better path for us. It was very important that we establish and stick to an aggressive timeline which would ensure completion by the end of September. Roy and Troy were very helpful in scheduling our remodel project and ensuring that we had good transparency to the milestones and project tasks in the schedule along the way. Once we had our materials selected, the New Creations team sent us a detailed web-based project plan that outlined the entire schedule from start to finish. With both of us working and me travelling during that time, this was enormously helpful to us as we sought to plan our weeks. Once we got started with the project, we were very happy with the team’s diligence in sticking to the schedule and ensuring that tasks were completed on-time. Additionally, as we ran into the inevitable hiccup’s that come with home projects, we found that the New Creations team was extremely responsive and diligent in resolving things to our satisfaction. Everyone who was brought to the house to work was polite, honest and very good at their piece of the project. All in all, it took about 3 weeks to complete the project and we were able to access/use our kitchen for the majority of that timeframe. The results are great! The kitchen has a great new look that’s far more up-to-date. We replaced the countertops with granite, the white backsplash with a cool glass tile mosaic and the lighting throughout the kitchen. It’s like a brand new kitchen for a lot less than we were originally planning to spend. We’re thoroughly enjoying the new look of the kitchen and would highly recommend this process and the New Creations team to anyone embarking on a kitchen remodel.\r more

Great Service, Great Attitude 9/23/2010

We used New Creations (Roy and team) to re-design and re-do our kitchen and breakfast area - we love the new look and the quality of the workmanship. \r \r The team did everything well but really excel in the following areas (much better than I have previously experienced):\r 1) Customer Service. Roy is a fanatic about giving the customer what they want. If something is not just so, Roy will take care of it. \r 2) Project Management & Great Execution. It is clear that they are on top of the game. They communicate well via phone, in person, and email; but more importantly they drive themselves and their team proactively. They completely my kitchen re-model (complete demolition down to the studs to new beautiful kitchen in 8 weeks and 2 days.)\r 3) Great design ideas. Roy and team gave us some really great ideas about how to re-layout our kitchen (really creative). They make great suggestions but know how to do this while still leaving you in control of making it “your kitchen”. \r 4) High quality team. In particular, Roy’s sub-contractors for cabinets, electrical, and his catch all (jack-of-all trade) guy were world class. This is one of the key’s to me of New Creations and Roy’s success…..having great sub-contractors and then have a good working relationship with them . \r 5) Issue handling & resolution. Most remodels (I have done a few construction projects) will have a few issues come up. Roy’ team is excellent at addressing any issues that arise. Again, the customer service attitude is a keystone to Roy and he pushes it across to his sub-contractors – you can tell.\r \r Overall, I think I am a pretty tough customer (son of a carpenter) and someone who likes things done “right”. A very talented, courteous and professional team! 8/29/2010

I loved everything about my new home except for the tiny, dark, unattractive bathrooms. I contacted New Creations based on recommendations from two of my neighbors, and I couldn't be happier with the results! This was my first experience with a remodel and I really didn't know what to expect. Roy's and his sub-contractors worked with me every step of the way. They encouraged me to play a big part in the design process, and this hands-on involvement was an exciting and fulfilling experience. They really made me feel like I was part of the team, all the while helping me make smart decisions based on their prior experiences. In the end, their expert advice proved invaluable. Virtually every decision we made turned out to be the right choice. Prior to the remodel, my master bathroom was a depressingly dismal place. Now it's a joy just to be in this room. We knocked out an unnecessary dividing wall and removed the outdated tub and fixtures, then installed custom cabinets, new floor tiles, expertly textured walls, a beautiful new countertop with a vessel sink and a gorgeous, modern glass walled shower. In our guest bathroom we added new cabinet and drawer faces, countertop with vessel sink and new floor tiles, and finished it off with retextured walls and fresh paint throughout. To top it off, we added solar tubes to both bathrooms, making them so much brighter and more inviting. I'm very proud of my remodeled guest bathroom, but my master bath is simply a joy! It's my own little oasis/spa. A big thanks to Roy and his team for all their hard work. I recommend them whole-heartedly! more

Love My New Kitchen! 8/17/2010

I love my kitchen! Roy and New Creations remodeled our kitchen last spring. Even though it has been several months, I still find myself just staring at it in awe. Working with New Creations was such an easy process. I have heard countless horror stories about remodel nightmares, and this was nothing like that. Everyone was professional and pleasant to have in our home. Roy was wonderfully honest with us as we went through the design process and I always felt like he had our best interest in mind. I would recommend New Creations whole heatedly and am looking forward to working with them on our master bath someday soon. more

NC is staffed with professionals with knowledge and skills to educate the customer and facilitate the decision-making process. My New Kitchen is Awesome 5/28/2010

We contracted with New Creations to completely redo our kitchen. We moved a wall and took out the old cabinets and installed incredibly beautiful new ones. It was like working with a blank slate and I guess it was since it was all white sheet rock. Julia Laughlin, the designer that used to be with New Creations walked us through the entire process. She helped us find the tile and sea glass for the back splash, the beautiful green granite for the center island and overall held our hands and kept us from making design mistakes. She has an amazing eye and we thank here for the incredible design. The electrical work done by Cox Electric was stellar and the plumbing done by Blue Dog Plumbing was equally as good. We also had a project manager, Joshua, who paid attention to every detail and was here everyday do make sure everything was done to specs. Troy works in the office and is basically the person who gets everything ordered and delivered and schedules the subs.He is amazingly thorough and organized and really is the glue behind the company. I must say that I was most impressed by Greg Olsen of OG Cabinets. It is hard to believe that a flat CAD drawing can turn into something so beautiful. The cabinets are beyond my wildest expectation and Greg was a joy to work with. The work was done and usable after about 8 weeks which is the time frame we were given. We had several items on the punch list which dragged on for a few more weeks, but weren't keeping us from moving things back in. Even though redoing a kitchen is a huge undertaking, we enjoyed most every minute of the process because the subs and Joshua and Troy are such good people to work with. If there is one negative, it is that the contract specifies certain items and it was very hard to know what those items were since we are not builders. Because of that, we had several change orders and extra charges that could have been avoided. On the other hand, Roy was very fair in letting us change the cabinets to the ones we got because we did not understand what the contract specified. All in all I would certainly recommend New Creations and tell anyone I know to just come look at my kitchen as proof. I had gotten several bids from other contractors. Roy's bid was quick and professional. He had no problem with giving me an itemized and detailed bid, based on my budget I gave him. Several other contractors just gave an overall price and what they would do for that price. They would/could not give a breakdown. One kept trying to get me to do more than my budget would allow. Easy to work with and willing to work hard 5/27/2010

For our kitchen remodel, working with New Creations has been pretty much painless with a very friendly staff. Everyone we saw come through the house were extremely willing to work hard and had a good attitude. Roy (owner) is going to blow you away with his vision and his enthusiasm. Troy (project manager) is quick to respond to your questions and keeps the schedule on track. We used an online project tool that they are trying to move to so we were a bit of a guinea pig in that regard. But for the detail oriented people like us, the tool was a fantastic resource as the project schedule fluctuates during the course of the project. The people on staff at NC are top-notch and know exactly what they are doing. They also seem to have good working relationships with other contractors for things not done in-house. This really helps when they are making changes to the schedule. The entire gang at New Creations was completely willing to do everything possible to make sure we are happy. I probably nitpicked on issues I saw a little too much but they made sure everything was taken care of and done without hesitation. They were quick to respond and to schedule in fixes. Even after the project had completed, small items that I noticed that needed additional work on was fixed up quick. This team is definitely dedicated to what they do and their goal of 100% customer satisfaction isn't just words they say. They absolutely believe in it. Professional and Attentive 5/21/2010

Ours was the largest project undertaken by New Creations as of 1/10. We gutted our Master Bedroom, bath and closets, kitchen, laundry room, garage entry and Jack and Jill Bathroom. They were all being done at the same time! This could have been a scheduling nightmare, but Troy seemed to handle it in stride. Julia was more than successful fitting in all that we wanted in the space we had. We could not be more pleased with the design. Our house feels completely new! The entire crew, Roy, Julia, Troy, Joshua, Apollo and Juan were very easy to work with. Roy holds each person to a very high standard of professionalism. Even the demo guys were clean and pleasant. We love our new kitchen! The design is perfect and the quality is very evident. Like most projects we had some hitches, but they were easily worked through. I can say the entire process was so much less ""painful"" than I anticipated. I credit the team with their attention to detail, attention to what I was saying, and professional attitudes toward their work product. I can recommend New Creations. Beautiful Craftsmanship 4/15/2010

New Creations recently completed our extensive kitchen remodel. In addition to of the typical kitchen remodel tasks, the entire existing space was demolished, gas lines and electricity were moved. We had a couple of walls changed to accommodate our Laundry room and pantry design. The result is beautiful with a great sense of craftsmanship. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of our experience with New Creations is just how great everyone is to work with. Not only are they friendly and accommodating, never once was one of our requests met with eye rolling or hesitation. Just sure, we can do that. The cabinet maker, Greg Olson, is great. A super nice guy who can build anything that can be laid out in CAD. We worked with him and New Creations’ designer Julia Laughlin extensively during the planning stages where we decided the location of everything, the silverware, spice rack, pantry, garbage bins, etc… We meticulously made these decisions, Greg would show us the official CAD drawings, we’d make changes, and eventually sign off on said Drawings. The day the cabinets came in and were set up was extremely exciting. We walked around opening all of the cabinet doors and drawers. Everything was identical to the CAD drawings. No project is without it’s hiccups and we experienced a few along the way. Mostly due to our remodel taking place over the Christmas holiday and the fact that our initial Field Manager was let go, leaving a slightly disorganized period of time in the middle. Once the logistics of this were worked out, New Creations quickly regrouped and the project was back on track and finished off strong and to our liking. This did, however, cause us a bit of stress, but I believe that this was an isolated situation and that it is unlikely that their future customers will have any issues in this area. Other people who we were extremely impressed with were: Apollo, who did all of the tile work and most of the random things that needed to be completed. Troy, who handled scheduling and organization. Julia, the designer as mentioned above. The electrician, whose name escapes me was very detailed. Of course Roy, the founder of New Creations who is very sincere and will not take anything less than his client’s complete satisfaction. The folks at Summit Stoneworks were also great. I’m sure I’m missing a few other people, but again all were wonderful. I certainly would use New Creations again in the future. more

  • New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath began because of a love of remodeling. I got the urge to start my own company when I realized there was a tremendous void in the current remodeling industry. Contractors had developed a reputation for being dishonest with their clients and abusive to our environment. I felt that no company really embodied a passion for design nor had a strategic system to deliver their plan. I had the idea of creating a remodeling company that worked hard to protect our environment, developed comprehensive systems for project management, and offered selection and designing processes for the client to ensure a great experience.
