Monster Movers

Monster Movers were very punctual. They gave me a time window and came on the earlier side of it. Their personalities were really good, too. They listened to what rooms the boxes had to go into, and I noticed that they were very gentle with every single box (I didn't even have to write "fragile" on them). It was great! more

Monster Movers showed up on time and took very good care of my stuff. They made sure it was all wrapped and protected and they took care when they loaded it into the truck and brought it into the new place. They were very timely and asked where I wanted things set and if I needed things put together. The gentleman that I had who moved my stuff did an exceptional job for me and made sure they didn't damage anything. He went above and beyond and made sure to ask if I needed help assembling anything. more

Dave, Joe, and John did a great job in moving us to Cape Cod. They were friendly, professional, and hard working. Everything was done that we had asked and we were extremely satisfied. I would recommend them to everyone. more

I got a call the day before my move asking to change my move time from 9am to 1pm for my 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment. I moved everything but the big pieces of furniture the day before. 2 guys finally showed up at 5, so exhausted from the move that took all day that I guess was more important than mine. After wrapping my furniture, the one guy was out because he was allergic to cats. So, I moved the rest of the furniture with the 2nd guy who liked to take 10 minute breaks between trips. I hired movers so that I wouldn't have to carry heavy furniture. They were supposed to stop by my in-laws house for a bed and wardrobe, but at 10 o'clock at night, my in-laws were already asleep so we had to cancel that part of the move. In between the apartment and the house (5 miles away) they stopped for some food and to complain to their boss about overbooking them. Upon arrival at the new house (45 minutes later!!!), I also helped them move everything in as they were moving even slower and it was coming up to midnight. The one guy broke my bookshelf (I didn't ask for any money back for my broken bookshelf which was broken beyond repair - just adding it in to my list of complaints). And then I was charged for the time from the time they arrived at my apartment to the time they finished at the new home. Not removing the time for their 45 minute break to yell at their manager or the time they just sat on the truck too tired to take a trip up the steps. Or for the fact that I had to do the work for the one guy. Unfortunately I paid it because I was so exhausted and just wanted the night to be over. I complained and Monster Movers apologized and said they would get back to me. I called again a few weeks later and left a voicemail. No reply. Never heard from them again. So I paid them more than they deserve, did half the work for them, and they didn't finish the job by bringing over the wardrobe. I had to hire someone else to finish the job. So, if you're thinking about monster movers, find anybody else! more

They put our furniture where I wanted and there was NO damage or arguments. I was very happy with the whole experience. It was great! Thank you. more

The Monster Movers were extremely polite and professional. First of all, they were here early. The appointment was scheduled between 8 and 9 in the morning. They showed up at about 7:45 instead, which was great! They were really helpful during the process. They taped everything up, avoided any scratches, and were especially careful with pieces that I wanted handled with extra care. It was great overall. more

Monster movers are very professional. They did a nice job. The driver took charge and made sure everything was wrapped up appropriately and not damaged. They were better than most movers I've used. They did a very good job altogether, were very busy, and made sure things were done the way I expected them to be. They even explained parts of the moving process. Since we had a very large piece to move down some stairs, they explained the risk involved for the movers and for the item. more

My experience with Monster Movers was excellent! The two movers were very polite. They were on time, very professional, and very helpful. I was very pleased with them. I am moving again in November and plan on using them again then. They were a pleasure to work with and to deal with. They were just very professional. I had a move on 8/30. I was told one price and was charged $100 more. When I called the the guy on 9/1, he was rude. "I have $10,000 of moves going on today. Why should I care about your $100?" I called corporate `and told her the deal of what happened. She said she would get back to me asap. It's been two weeks.No one has called me back. I do not recommend this moving company. There are many better moving companies who care about there customers in Boston. Use the others... more

Wonderful experience-movers were great no damage or problems. Used Monster Movers twice now and all workers were great - conscientious about not damaging items and made the move easier for us. We would definitely call them next time we need to move anything. more

Unreliable and Uncaring\r \r We contracted with Monster Movers of Worcester, Massachusetts to help our son move about ten medium-size boxes from the college mail-room to his dorm. They promised to supply two movers and a small truck on August 26, 2013. They had my phone numbers as well as my son’s cell phone number. A few days before the move I called them to re-confirm, and I was told they would call my son at 1pm on August 26, 2013 and that he could pay them with an out-of-town check for their minimum charge of two-hours of work. He took the check and enough extra cash for tips. \r \r They failed to show up or call him or us. We both left multiple messages and as of today, September 9, 2013, we are still waiting for a return call. \r \r Fortunately, my son worked out something else to get his boxes moved. But, he could have been stuck. more

We had an overall pleasant experience with Monster Movers. The movers were on time and worked hard and were very polite. However, there were some items broken/damaged during the move because they were not packed properly by them and we have been having difficulty getting reimbursed for these items. I would still recommend them. I made an appointment and put a deposit for the movers to arrive between 12-5 pm. At 9 am, they called and said they were near the apartment I was moving to. We were not ready yet and still packing on our end because we expected them not to show up until 12. They said that if they don't move us that morning, they may have to reschedule for another day. I was really upset because the appointment was for 12 pm and we had already put a deposit in for that time. Luckily, they were able to fit us back in and showed up around 2 pm. The movers themselves were very professional and efficient. So with the exception of the schedulers making that mistake, the move itself turned out pretty well. more

Monster Movers ended up going above and beyond what was originally expected of them. I had some other things in the home that they helped me out with. It was my first time using them. They were pleasant and had no problem with helping me out doing those additional things they weren't scheduled to do. It was really a big help and it lessened the stress. more

When Monster Movers moved me from one house to another, one item did get broken. Other than that, though, it was all okay. I do wish they wouldn't have smoked outside of their truck, but that's more of a personal thing. more
