GARY EDWARDS IS A CROOKED THIEF WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, CURSING ISSUES AND A VIOLENT TEMPER! You take your machine into Gary Edward's web thinking that you will get excellent customer service due to his many years of experience, clean store and bright white teeth and smile but believe me that mouth of his will do you no favors! He has been viciously attacking the Modesto Sewing World for years. I did not read the reviews prior to servicing my machine there...I SHOULD HAVE!
HE HAS PAGES OF 1 STARS AND AN F RATING WITH THE BBB! MOST OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE THE ONES THAT GARY IS LEAVING FOR HIMSELF!
I paid top dollar for my machine to be repaired. After leaving the store with it I COULD NOT EVEN SEW 30 INCHES WITHOUT MASSIVE ISSUES! I brought the machine back ""SAME DAY"" within one hour, as the machine was erring until my fabric was finally stuck in the machine!
The second that I walked back into his store with my machine in my arms, he yelled at me from across the store...""SO, YOU BROKE YOUR MACHINE AND YOUR BACK TO HAVE ME FIX IT HUH?"" He proceeded to tell me that the machine had NO problems and that I WAS THE PROBLEM, AS I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SEW!... WOW!!! REALLY GARY! That is how you are going to speak to your valued customers?? I have sewn over 50,000 yards of fabric in my business in the last 10 years and I do not know how to sew Gary??? He then went on to tell me that ONCE THE MACHINE LEAVES HIS STORE, THAT HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FURTHER REPAIRS! YOU DO NOT SEE THIS POSTED IN THE STORE AND NOR DOES HE TELL YOU!!
Well, needless to say, I did not bring my husband with me for protection and I should have. He was yelling at me and getting closer and closer to my face while his strange male employees stand idly by. While Gary went into the back, even one of them knotted his head with a big YES as I asked him if this is the way that Gary always treats his customers.
As you can see in the review below, Gary is pretending that he was a customer that walked into his store and saw me MRS LEMUS berating Mr Edwards. He speaks of himself as the man who ""gives his 100% effort and time to his community and customers""....HEY GARY, DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS ABOUT YOURSELF? READ YOUR REVIEWS MAN! THE REVIEWS SHOULD TELL YOU AND OTHERS WHAT AN AWFUL JOB YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING AT SERVICING THIS FINE COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE....you are simply ROBBING from this community. Do you not realize that you are actually making an even larger fool of yourself when you ""FAKE REVIEWS"" to make yourself look better? I only wish that a customer ""would have"" walked into your store that day as I would have taken the opportunity to warn them to RUN OUT THE DOOR BEFORE YOU GET SCAMMED!!! No need to keep writing positive reviews about yourself, just read the bad reviews and embrace what you are doing to innocent people...
I FINALLY GOT MY REFUND FROM MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY FOR THE HORRIBLE SERGER REPAIR DONE BY GARY EDWARDS! ..Well Gary, I have NO IDEA how you have stayed open all these years? You can only prey on each family one time so I imagine that before long, the word will get around about you...Picketing and news exposure sounds like a much faster way to get the word out! I hope you permanently close your doors soon....or, change your ways!
THE SEW DOCTOR IS REPUTABLE! THAT STORE IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET ONLY 1 MIN AWAY FROM GARY'S TORTURE CLINIC. THE OWNER IS VERY PLEASANT AND HE CAN BE TRUSTED!
