Mister Quik

We have used Mr Quik Plumbing and Electrical services for the past 4 or 5 years. Had had them redo a bathroom from the construction up, redo an electrical box, rewire part of the house, put in a new furnace, a new air conditioner, two new water heaters, and fix a number of wall plugs throughout our 40 year old house. Every time, and in every instance they provide a written quote, and review it with me. I must sign it before they begin the work, and they have never charged a penny more than the quote. In a couple of instances we had some lingering problems after they left. We called them, and the very same day they were back to the house to make the needed corrections. No questions and no discussion of responsibility or billing on the repairs. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about them, and would highly, highly recommend them for your work. Their ethical standards appear to be above and beyond question. I come from a family where my father owned a plumbing business for nearly 30 years and my grandfather was a plumbing foreman for a major corporation for 40 years. This company is unbelievable. I went out on a limb choosing them to do some electrical repairs, and am now 100% regretting it. Yes, they got me right in with an appointment, fixed the problem quickly, but charged me an arm & a leg($270) to replace one outlet. I have a warranty on my home and I have been calling Mr. Quik for weeks since my home repair trying to hunt down the electrician to call my warranty company and give them the diagnosis on my repair so I can get reimbursed my $$. It has almost been 2 months, and nearly a dozen phone calls to Mr. Quik and nothing has been resolved.I am a few more phone calls away from filing a formal complaint against their company. I keep getting the run around that a manager will call and they still have not. I will never AGAIN use Mr. Quik and I'll be sure to let as many others know about their poor service and lack of ""customer satisfaction!"" more

I had a couple of minor electrical problems in my kitchen. The electrician arrived at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the problems. He made the needed repairs and pointed out a couple of potential new problems brewing. When I told him that I would prefer to wait a bit before addressing those, he gave me a written bid for the work and no further sales pressure. When it is time to address these items, I will definitely be calling Mr. Quick more

Actually had another company out for my furnace. They recommended I replaced the system so I got a quote. Needless to say it was pricey! I've seen Mister Quik in advertisements before so I called them to get a second bid. I have to say I was really impressed with how informative the gentlemen was on the equipment over the first quote I had. He just put into detail what each system would do for my house and actually took the time to make sure I was understanding what he was recommending. I'm not one to bash or name the other company but they didn't even have a price book! I didn't think anything of it but after I had Mister Quik out I was pretty upset with how I was treated in the first quote. They didn't ask me how my bills were, my goals for the house I'm currently in. All they asked me was the budget I had for it and somehow the system they quoted just so happen to be 200 less than what they said. When mister Quik came out, he asked those questions that were important to me and he had a price book! What he recommended was over the budget I had in plan but I went with Mr Quik but I got a much better system for a little more money. The other company was quoting me a 13 seer ac with a 95% and Mr Quik showed me his price book which beat that. The other company was playing me for a fool. I am so glad I called for a second bid and avoided a 15 yr mistake more

$69 for the estimate (nobody else charged for estimate) $1850 quote (next highest was $325) $175 actual cost The people on the phone, and the estimator were very nice and professional... but the $69 ""service call"" and the out-of-wack quote surprised me. AND... my experience has been mirrored by a lot of people if you read down through the reviews. Some of these reviews seem a little too much like a sales pitch. That's right, I think Mister Quick is writing a lot of these reviews. No way are they that loved. Sounds like a marketing ploy, just like their sales pitch when they are at your house. more

What can I say they are the best my friend told me about mr quik ..I called them they came in time and they new what was wrong just by looking at the problem .... after they were done they were very nice and very respectful ....thanks for helping me with my problem more

I was very pleased with the service and how professional the staff treated me. I recieved a curtious call informing the technician was 30 minutes out and he arrived very close to that time. When the tech entered my home he greeted me with a friendly hello and displayed respect for my home by putting on booties. He was very thorough in explaining his findings and left me feeling very knowledgeable and extremly confident that I made the right decision choosing Mister Quik. more

There are certain things most home owners are afraid of. For me it is HVAC, Major Electrical, and Major Plumbing. On Sunday, 8-21-11, I had one of those major plumbing problems that involved the main line in my house which is a 3"" pipe. Worst day for a problem, but I was able to isolate the problem giving me peace of mind that I could wait until Monday for the repair to avoid the hefty Sunday service charge. I had recently seen an ad for a Mister Quik for $99.00 ""any drain any time."" I called and yes that was true, after the service visit charge, which is normal. I made the appointment and low and behold first thing on Monday Morning I got a call from the scheduler, who was very pleasant and quite helpful assuring me that they did work on main pipes as not all plumbers do. I was further amazed when not one but two plumbers showed up on time and quite courteous. They listened to what my wife had to say about the situation and then went about the business of taking care of the problem at hand in a timely and reasonable charge for something that I could not do myself. I now have them on my list of who to call and have given the name of the company to 3 co-workers today. It is nice to have a stranger come into your house and leave as though you just made a friend. Mr. Quick did an outstanding job! My A/C needed a tune-up, so I began calling various Heating & Cooling companies in an effort to get the best service at a competitive price. After spending some time on the phone with multiple companies it became clear that Mr. Quick had VERY competitive pricing and was able to come to my house within 24 hours of my call, it wasn't even an emergency call (every other company I contact told me that I would have to wait 3-4 weeks before they could ""fit me in"")! They were on time and called about 15-20 minutes before arrival. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, making sure to wear his foot booties over his shoes each time he entered my home so as not to track any dirt or mud through the house. The service was great and I would absolutely recommend Mr. Quick to my family and friends. more

I needed there service on 2 separate occasions and both were excellent services. They are very prompt to answer the call and are quick to send someone out the same day to finish the job.I would definitely recommend. more

I called Mr. Quik after I saw a commercial on tv. I needed a ceiling fan installed. They were able to schedule me for an appointment on the same day I called. They gave me a window of opportunity that they would show up. A worker was at our house on time and was very polite and did a quick job installing the ceiling plan. We signed up for the year long plan. I plan on calling them next week to come out and look at our air conditioning unit and slow draining bathtub. I hope my continued involvement with this company continues to be well serviced and quick. Thanks for a job well done. more

I called Mister Quick in the morning. I requested they come out between 3-5. She called at 2pm-ish and asked if it would be ok if they arrived a little early? It was fine - he showed up and was very professional. He took care of the water heater, made sure we were all squared away and then left. It couldn't have gone better! more

From the Moment we called Mister Quick we were amazed that the name really fit in less than 24 hours we had our Air Condition back and I bet atthat time they were over worked due to the heat wave we were experiencing. The technician were nice, polite and knew what they had to do to get the air up running. I would recommend this company without hesitation. more

We just had a terrible experience with their HVAC division. They charged us over $400 and had to come back 4 times before telling us we just had to replace our air conditioner. In fact, they made our old one worse by freezing it and not returning when they told us they would. I will NEVER use them again! When we spoke with the supervisor, Kevin, he was terrible also and wouldn't refund us $1 despite all the inconvenience they caused us. Worst experience I've ever had dealing with a service company. more

I had some electrical trouble couple of weeks ago and needed an electrician and decided to give Mr. Quik a shot. Sam came out on time and did a phenomenal job. Yesterday my AC went bad and I needed someone quickly to fix it since heat index in Indy was 110. In the past, I always used Dial One for AC troubles but decided to give Mr. Quik a try due to the phenomenal experience I had with Sam couple of weeks ago. Rick comes out today and was superb. He diagnosed my problem right away and fixed my AC within 30 minutes. He was very professional and straight forward with me. I highly recommend Mr. Quik for any electrical and AC issues you might have. When I thought it couldn't get better, I received a follow up call to make sure everything went fine ..... that is going above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. Thanks to Sam and Rick, you guys now have another customer for life. more

Had scheduled a check-up appointment for my HVAC; I received a call notifying me that my technican was about 20 minutes out.......very, very, helpful. Mr. Quik GREAT Company with a WIDE vast of services and knowledgable and courteous staff.....Recommend Highly!!!!!!!! more

I had previously used a different plumbing service. They stood me up. I called Mr. Quik for services on a Saturday afternoon. They offered me an appointment for that very same Sunday or Monday. Mark arrived on time at 8:30 am on the dot. I was like wow! I called for my stems to be changed. However, it turns out my water heater was leaking which needed to be changed. I also had been hearing water and informed him I wanted to know where it was going. I had smelled a musty smell in one of my bathrooms. I wanted to be sure that it was nothing major. It turns out I had a broken pipe from my kitchen to my bathroom. It had to be replaced. I am scared to think if I had waited any longer what kind of issues I could have as an end result. The services provided were very professional. He worked quickly. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend them to friends and family. Wonderful job guys! more
