Mirabelle is a gem, plain and simple. If you are tired of restaurants charging $24 for jellied cucumber, creme freche, and a bite of fish in a shot glass then this restaurant is the perfect retreat. The dishes here range from very good to superb. The eight hour braised short ribs, filet mignon with butter poached lobster tail, tuna tartare, bacon wrapped figs stuffed with chorizo, and flank steak are among the best dishes I've had in LA. The bar is a great meeting spot but be forewarned that smoking is allowed out there becuase the roof can be opened. The $7 happy hour menu (from 4-7pm daily) is a steal.
Pros: Every Dish is Great, $7 Happy Hour Plates, No weird creations
Cons: , Sunset Blvd is Noisy
