Was visiting LA for the first time and went to have dinner with a friend. Headed toward Santa Monica. An hour driving later at 11pm and we are still at a loss. Last-minute phone recommendation from a friend led us to Mirabelle's. Found it cozy and relaxing, with a nice ramshackle wood interior and low lights. Pro service from a waiter with a southern accent, prices aren't cheap but neither are they unreasonable... pasta bolognese and tuna steak were simple, solid, and well executed. Good place to go if you have $60 to spend for two. Glad to have found this spot. Cheers.
