Mike Counsil Plumbing and Rooter

I called Mike Counsil Plumbing because my pipes were banging around and they were available to come right away as it was somewhat of an emergency. The technician was very friendly and explained what he was doing at each step. They cleaned up after themselves leaving my house in good condition and were very conscious of my dog when going in and out of the front door. My only issue with them is I feel their prices are in no way competitive with other companies and are extremely high. Although pleased with their work I will shop around the next time. more

moved in to our new home, to find that our piping was a mess and we weren't getting hot water and pressure was low... Bobby came in and provided and overview with solutions that fit our needs. work was done professionally, and I never knew they were inside our outside doing the work! now we are set up with annual maintenance of our new water filter systems, etc. thank you for the great service! more

Mario was always on time and kept me informed about what was going on with the replacement of a section of our drain/sewer line (including photos since this was under the house). Yes, this was more expensive than the regular roto-rooter plumbers, but I felt I received much better service. more

Your team showed up on time and assessed the problem. The got on the phone with the manufacturer and ordered a replacement part at no charge covered by warranty. The part received the next day and your technican came within 3 hours and installed the part. Would use you again. more

The young man who came and put in my garbage disposal was very efficient, and I was very pleased at how nice and polite he was! He let me know before he started how much it was going to cost, and that's what I paid. No surprises, no hidden costs, just straight forward and honest! Had a tub faucet leaking in our rarely used bathroom. Plumber courteous and seemed knowledgeable. I was distracted by an 18mo old at the time, so I did not inspect as closely as I should have. A month and a half later I finally got around to cleaning up the tub from plumbers mess and after using the faucet, it is dripping. hmmm???? more

We contacted Mike Counsil Plumbing when our laundry waste pipe backed up into our garage. They had Abel Villagomez at our home less than an hour after we called. He promptly cleared the blockage yet alerted us to the fact that our waste line may need replacing. Within 2 days we called Abel back because our laundry had backed up again. Abel went under our house and inspected the waste pipes. He took lots of pictures. He carefully explained what the situation was and we decided to move forward with the waste pipe replacement. Abel, Gabriel and Victoria were our highly competent team of plumbers and the project was done in record time. It's 1 thing to have a plumber tell you your pipes are completely full of 50 years of gorp and it's a game changer when you see it for yourself. I was not aware that the "rooter" company who snaked our pipes every 2 to 3 months was only poking a small hole in the gunk, just enough to allow the waste to leave while slowly filling up again. We wish we had found Mike Counsil Plumbing sooner! They are now our go to plumbers. Exceptional quality, attention to detail and knowledgeable well-trained staff set's them at the top of our list! more

We called Mike Counsil Plumbing in an emergency because I foolishly broke our master bath shower valve and had to shut the water off to the whole house. We selected Mike Counsil Plumbing because we wanted an experienced plumber since the problem appeared to complex. They had a good Yelp referral and had been in business for many years. And it didn't hurt they also offered a $50 coupon. After talking to the receptionist on the phone and explaining the problem, she set us up with a same day appointment stating the technician would be there between 5pm and 7pm. A little after 6pm the dispatcher called and informed me Josh Gibson (the technician) would be there in about 10 minutes. After Josh arrived we talked about the job and our options for fixing the problem. Because Josh did not have the part necessary to fix the problem that night, he removed the old value and capped the hot/cold water pipes so we could turn on the water to the house. Josh was very personable and did an outstanding job, and left the bathroom clean before leaving. He also informed me he would return the next day between 12noon and 1:30pm to complete the job. Since he was scheduled for another job in the morning, he stated he would talk with the dispatcher about sending out another technician in morning if one was available. At 9am the following day, the dispatcher called and said a new technician (Jerry B.) would be arriving between 10am and 10:30am. Jerry was on time and began the work. We found Jerry to be very friendly. As he proceeded with the work, he kept us informed as the work progressed. Upon completion Jerry left our bathroom clean and we are thoroughly happy with the work he did. Like I said in the beginning, the work appeared to be complex and we wanted a company with years of experience to do the work and a company we could trust. We are totally satisfied with the work both Josh Gibson and Jerry B. performed and would recommend Mike Counsil Plumbing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is an update to my review posted on 10/11/2016. I felt it was important to give you an update on what has transpired over the past few days for which I continue to maintain their 5 star rating. When we first contracted with Mike Counsil Plumbing, they were going to charge $248 to prep the shower for tile cutting and dust containment. On the second day when another technician began the work, he did not prep the bathroom as specified in the contract. As a result, we contacted Mike Counsil Plumbing and requested a refund since the prep work was never performed. Within 24 hours, Sean, the service supervisor, contacted us and apologized for the oversight stating it was part of their normal procedure to prep the site before starting work. Sean indicated our $248 would be refunded. It's not every day you come across a company committed to providing excellent service. As I said, the work appeared to be complex and we wanted a company with years of experience to do the work and a company we could trust. We are totally satisfied with the work performed by the technicians and would recommend Mike Counsil Plumbing. They have certainly demonstrated they are a company you can trust. more

Mike Console plumbing did a good job on solving the initial problem, but when they submitted an estimate on completing the job, their rate was obviously excessive. I refused their offer, and found another plumber who completed the job at a much lower price, and even finished the job on a Sunday. more

I was very impressed with everyone I dealt with. Without exception they were polite, very hard working, and took great pride in their work. I was kept informed at all times, and they made sure that I could function at the end of each day. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed plumbing work done, especially if extensive work was needed more

Our toilet needed the flap replaced. The technician replaced it the same day within an hour or so. The toilet has been working great ever since. more
