Plumber came the same day we called. He fixed a vexingly-placed disposal and three small leaks. The sink has not drained this well in five years!

Mike did a great job for us! He came out on a Sunday identified the problem, took care of ordering the part (and made a temporary adjustment so we wouldn't be without hot water)....

Plumbing 7/22/2014

We had a service call by Tim. He replaced a diaposall ans sink hose and repaired a leaking faucet. He quickly diagnosed all problems, gave us a thorough explanation and recommended steps. The work was performed quickly and neatly. The area was cleaner when he left than it was on arrival. Fair price. We would use Tim and McCarthy again. more

Regarding Tim 7/16/2014

Tim was punctual, professional and easy to communicate with. He understood not only what I wanted to have done but also the constraints I had regarding price. He was able to reduce the book price by a considerable amount. The work he did for me took care of my plumbing problems and made the leaky outdoor faucet look and work better than ever. He also was able to advise me on a tub faucet that really did not need fixing - which relieved me of the worry I had over one more plumbing concern. more

Quick appointment arranged by office. Kevin was on time, personable and took time to explain what he found after examining my HVAC system. He explained options and costs clearly and answered my questions. I would highly recommend Kevin and McCarthy Services for HVAC services and will used them again in the future for any HVAC problems. more

Kenny is a very talented plumber in his own right, but what amazed me is that in the interest of his client, he called for a 2nd opinion from the Master Plumber. When he chases a leak, he is darn sure where to start to minimize any damage to the walls. Kenny is truly service oriented where most just give that phrase lip service. When he enters your house it is with respect for you and for your house. He is not afraid to educate you on what he is doing. In fact, Kenny is wise, he knows this knowledge leads to trust and trust leads to repeat business. It's a win/win for all. He is personable as well as professional. I also love that he is always a student; he always wants to learn more and in doing so support his customers. He suggests future purchases or repairs but approaches it in a very supportive and non-profit sorta of way; a way that makes me as a client trust that this repair or addition is truly life-enhancing. He is the best representative McCarthy can have. The best advertisement for them is not an advertisement in the Yellow Pages or on the side of a bus or service truck; the best advertisement is Kenny himself. more

Garbage disposal, kitchen faucet replacement work 7/25/2013

Randall was courteous, knowledgeable and completed the work in no time. The only drawback, aside from the company's urging customers towards service plans, was that his company requires that he call in to process cc payments. the lady he worked with placed him on hold 4 or 5 times (this after several calls received a fast busy tone), but finally obtained the card info and processed the payment after 30-45mins. Don't have any negative to say about Randall.. he was great, but unlikely to use company again based on pricing structure, delay in obtaining payment. more

Plumbing Services - Walter Filter System 7/24/2013

I was experiencing difficulties in replacing the existing water filter for the Kohler K201 Water Filtration system. When I called McCarthy services, the Office Manager advised that she would have the plumbing Manager call me right back so that I could explain the problem. I received a call back within 30 minutes and an appointment was set up for the next day. Greg the technician confirmed that the bracket anchoring the system was initially incorrectly installed making it difficult to change the filter. Greg moved the anchor bracket and changed the filter within a few minutes. Moving the bracket will allow me to replace the filter in subsequent months. Great job and great response by the McCarthy team. Definitely will use McCarthy for my future Plumbing needs. more

Trustworthy Plumber 7/12/2013

I had Randall D. look at possible pinhole leaks in a copper pipe in the basement. He talked me through the issues and replacement options and I will schedule the service for a later date as water is not leaking out at this time. He also suggested I replace a saddle valve leading to the ice-maker in the kitchen. He gave me a good price and did a very nice job on installing the new, code-compliant, cutoff valve. more

McCarthy always provides good and efficient service. Today Randall D took care of several plumbing problems in my 1920s house. He explained each issue and each solution very clearly. He knows his business, and he also knows how to deal with clients . I highly recommend McCarthy Services and Randall. more

The technicial sent by McCarthy Services, Larry, arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He completed all the needed plumbing repairs satisfactorily. The company had installed the central air and heating systems in the house one year ago when I was renovating it and I was also very pleased with the service at that time. more

Fantastic service and work 4/29/2013

From the beginning of this work on installing a home generator, this company and the ENTIRE team of individuals, both in the office and in the field, couldn't have been more professional, friendly, personal, and competent. The installation team of Andy, Alex and Randy were by far the best and most professional team of installers I have come across. The work was done quickly, on time, and correctly. AND, it was done on a day when it wasn't a "fit night out for man nor beast"! It was raining the entire day, and these guys installed the generator despite the bad weather. No excuses! Just well done!! I commend this group --the entire group of people at McCarthy -- for the highest level of customer satisfaction. Bravo, folks. I'm really glad I went with you for the installation of my home generator. more
