Yes Sarah is back! She is a fine hairstylist. Her coloring technique and precise hand when styling hair is what I always looked for in my stylist. I've known her for almost ten years and can vouch for her abilities as my favorite hairdresser!! more

Formal Hair 1/23/2011

I have been to many salons to get my hair done for winter formal. I have always left feeling okay about my hair. Last night I went to see Sara to get my hair done for the school dance. Wow!! I have never loved the way I've looked so much. Sara was very corteous and kind and listened to everything I asked for. Now I have finally found a hairdresser that is right for me! more

Sara's Back! 1/22/2011

I see all these awards for Maxwell's but what happened to the last two years? I'll tell you what happened! Sara left to go to Shadows but now she's back! I first met Sara 15 years ago when I used to take my daughters to do their hair (during the middle school years). Then I started having her do my hair and and here we are 15 years later. Sara is talented and does a great job with styling, hi-lights, and color for men, women (yes my daughters have grown up!), and children. more

Sweet Hair 1/12/2011

I went to Maxwell's salon for the first time yesterday and my experience was fantastic. I went in for a cut and color. Thanks to Jennifer I came out looking fantastic. Without much instruction she nailed exactly what I wanted. Jennifer is very professional and makes sure that you are happy every time. I will definitely be returning to her! I would highly recommend her to anyone. more

Erin is the BEST 11/5/2010

I've been to Erin twice now, once for a new cut and the other for a dye. I was very vague on the shade I wanted but she got it! Not only did she do it perfectly, but she also taught me how to curl my hair (with many tips) and offered to help me further if I needed it. Go to Erin! Sweetest ever and always spot on in what you ask for. I look forward to going back and highly recommend it to those of you looking for someone. more

Great, great experience 7/8/2010

I had a fantastic experience. I first got my eyebrows done by Suki (forgive me if I spelled her name wrong). I have had problems with my eyebrows for over a decade and she was able to fix them with no problem--they look perfect! I then got my hair done by Erin. I told her the problems I had with my hair and what I would like my hair to look like, and not only did she do it perfectly, but she also taught me how to blow-dry my own hair the most effectively for my purposes and offered to help me further if I needed it. Great, great experience 7/7/2010

Worst Customer Service, Irresponsible, Rude 6/19/2010

I had my worst experience of customer service last Saturday at this salon. Bonnie the hair dresser after highlighting my hair leaves me with wet hair, since she is in rush and has to go to hockey with her son. When I come home and dry my hair I see a bad job. I am not happy at all. Bonnie, in response to my request to redo my hair gives me the most unprofessional and rudest response. She leaves a massage that she is not going to touch my hair again since she is not making money out of me and had been insulted by the amount of tip I left for hair!!!!!What a psychotic hair dresser!!!!! In addition The manager Shannon, was not helpful at all and has attitude. Cons: Irresponsible Rude Hair Dresser(Bonnie) and Manager(Shannon) more

poor management 2/26/2010

A friend of mine referred me to Maxwell's, and I was immediately turned off by the receptionist who answered the phone- RUDELY. But because of my friend's experience, that was the only reason of why I went in. When I came in for my appointment, once again, they had the rudest receptionist that wouldn't help me with anything. I was standing there for 15 minutes before she decided to help me out. CINDY, was who I was referred too. What a mistake. Just like the receptionist Cindy had a hard time apparently to listen to my concerns and needs. IN retrospect, the salon has a major attitude problem- even the MALE stylists. That salon needs a MAJOR attitude adjustment! Next time, I'm complaining to the owner- I cannot believe he/she would run such a place like that. Pros: close by Cons: attitude adjustment! more
