I was recommended Sara, one of the stylists there and couldn't be more pleased. She is extremely professional and such a sweet heart, I started going a few months ago and have continued ever since!! She definitely know what she's doing and has an eye for color and how it will compliment the face. If you need color Sara's the one you wanna go to. although, she does a great job with cuts!! she knows ALL the latest styles... my experience is Amazing!!!! A++ thanks sara, you're wonderful! I am a repeating customer at Maxwell's and I go to Sooki for all my hair needs. I just got my hair straighten the other day for the first time and I am absolutely loving it!!! I use to have natural wavy hair and never have I thought my hair can be this sleek, shiny and straight. This is a miracle and I LOVE IT! I don't know what it's called but Sooki did it for me and my hair is so straight and soft, I no longer need to dry my hair straight, I can't believe this is my hair! My experiences at Maxwell's been so positive from customer service to the professional hair dresser. You have to see Sooki for your hair! She did such a great job on mine. yey!! I also got my hair layered before I got it straighten and it is just amazing! All you ladies, if you have frizzy, wavy, curly hair you have to do what I did! You still got hope! Pros: Great results! I really admired the hairstyle of one of my co-workers that I eventually asked her who does her hair. She gave me the business card of Carlos Ramirez at Maxwell's Salon in Irvine. I made an appointment and when I arrived at the salon I was impressed by the friendly and professional staff. Shannon, the receptionist was very pleasant and asked if I would care for something to drink while I waited. Carlos greeted me and made me feel so comfortabe. When he was finished, to say that I was pleased with the end result is an understatement. Carlos did a FANTASTIC job on my hair. I learned that he is also a master colorist with Matrix. I have been back to Maxwell's since that last time and had my nails done with Linda who also knows her stuff as well! I have recommended Maxwell's to my friends. Cons: none. more

My experience at Maxwell's was absolutely wonderful. My brother, his wife, my sister, my partner and myself gave our mother an entire day of sumptuous pampering for her 2006 Christmas gift. Since this day was a special one, we didn't want to take mom to any run-of-the-mill beauty salon. Maxwell's proved to be the ideal choice. We were first greeted by a very lovely and welcoming receptionist by the name of Shannon. Mom's first appointment at the salon was for a soothing and luxurious manicure with Miss Linda Bui who was fantastic. Our mother was so pleased with Linda's work that she could not stop looking at her hands and feet after they were finished. Mom's next appointment was with Carlos who had a consultation with her first to hear to her concerns and requests. After taking what our mother said into consideration, Carlos began the magical transformation. All the while Carlos was cutting, combing, blowdrying and applying products, he made every effort to make her feel comfortable and satisfied with what he was doing. The smile and very pleased expression on her face said it all...She really liked what Carlos was doing. (So did we!) She was ecstatic with her new look and it took our breath away. I am not lying when I say that it took ten years off of her appearance. Carlos was also very helpful to us by referring us to a wonderful make-up artist by the name of Luis Najar at the Bobbi Brown cosmetics counter in Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza. That was mom's next stop after leaving the salon. (Thanks to Carlos, that too was a smashing success!) The atmosphere at Maxwell's had a positive and warm flow of energy. It was obvious that the stylists, manicurist and receptionist got along with eachother quite well as they chatted, laughed and talked jokingly amongst themselves and with the other clients in the salon. Pros: Upscale look. Very accomodating staff. Excellent service. Cons: None. more

I found Maxwell's and made an appt. with Cindy for color and highlights, and couldn't be more pleased with her work! She has an extensive knowledge of color and does an outstanding job to make sure it's perfect (and trust me, I'm very picky about colorists!). more

I went to an expensive Beverly Hills salon for years and just got sick of the drive from OC. I found Maxwell's and made an appt. with Cindy for color and highlights, and couldn't be more pleased with her work! She has an extensive knowledge of color and does an outstanding job to make sure it's perfect (and trust me, I'm very picky about colorists!). The salon has an upscale decor, with a smaller salon's friendliness and easy-going attitude. I highly recommend it and I'm thankful I found Cindy! more

I started going to Linda Perdue several years ago after an extremely bad experience at another salon ? the kind of salon where you had different people doing different parts of your treatment. The stylist I used then delegated his ?assistants? at various times to do the shampoo, the color, the blowing. I was often juggled about and constantly kept waiting. Since I started going to Linda, I feel special. When I arrive for my appointment, I am greeted warmly, on time, and with a big hug. Linda performs all phases of my visit. First, she starts by sitting me in the chair and discusses what we want to do that day. Then she prepares the color herself ? and she is very talented with color. She does the cut, the washing, the blowing ? all of it. I get her complete attention for the entire visit, as well as the gift of her smiling spirit. Over the years that Linda has cut my hair, I have gotten compliments from friends and strangers repeatedly on my wash-and-wear haircuts. I am very active and insist on no-muss/no-fuss hairdos. Pros: good ambiance, nice shopping center, good eateries nearby, easy parking, friendly atmosphere more

Cindy did my hair prior to my wedding and worked with me on styles that would be timeless for my wedding photos...then after my wedding she took me from timeless hair, to sleek and a little funky!!!! I LOVE it!! She is not only GREAT at cutting, she is inovative & creative. A great combination in a hairdresser.. You will be coming back to her just like me... No one else but CINDY!!! more

Had a cut by Cindy - loved her. I have very difficult hair - curly and fine - frizzes easily & is easily damaged. Cindy gave good tips on how to care for my type of hair. My last stylist just insulted my hair and me! Cindy showed me how to manage it. Will definitely continue to patronize this salon & stylist. more

I have gone to Rebecca twice since moving to Orange County and I've been impressed both times! The second time around surpassed all of my expectations. I moved from San Francisco and thought I would have to drive to LA for a decent hairdresser, but since finding Rebecca, there's no need to commute. She listened to my ideas and mixed it with her own suggestions for a perfect color and cut. My color is fantastic! I can't say enough about the color. Plus the cut accentuates the color. I would strongly recommend her. To top it off, she makes the whole salon experiences enjoyable. Pros: Quality products, knowledgeable hairdressers more
