The Owners are shady and should be dealt with accordingly. BEWARE and do not trust! This place will not be in business much longer.

I have been to many gyms in Denver and love this place. Spinning classes are great here...I wish they offered day passes. more

Great Atmosphere 6/27/2007

I recently moved to Denver and shortly after joined the Matrix. For the first time in a while I actually look forward to going to the gym! No matter when you go you can always get on a treadmill. I also started an X-Bike class that is really kicking my butt. I would definately recommend this place to friends and family. Pros: Parking! Service. Cleanliness. more

Downhill in Denver 6/21/2007

I joined this club several months after it first opened (a couple years ago). It started out great, but its gone downhill over the last few years. Administratively, they are uncooperative and don't take guest feedback or problems into serious consideration. I've had moments where more than one employee were downright rude to me. I have cancelled my membership, and I do not recommend this gym. Cons: inattentive and at times rude. more

I visited this gym while I was in town on business. I took a yoga class and the instructor was ten minutes late. The instructor knew very little about yoga when I asked questions about poses. The locker room was so small there wasn't even enough room to change my mind in it. Not recommended. Cons: Staff has VERY little training. more

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! 2/8/2007

I just moved to Denver and am used to going to great top notch SPA's all over the U.S. Matrix is unlike any SPA I have been to, it has the total package! The facility is beautiful, my massage with Lucy was phenomenal and best of all the staff was down to earth and I felt at home there. They offered me hot tea when I sat down and I snuggled up on the couch in their sitting area. After my treatment, I was able to grab a robe and steam in the facilities steam room which was a great unexpected treat. I will be back for sure! Lucy, you ROCK! :) Pros: Not snooty, top rate providers, free covered parking, exclusive feeling!! Cons: Ummm.... I can't have it everyday? more

Heavenly facials with Jordan 1/17/2007

The resident aesthetician, Jordan, is incredible. Her facials are increbily relaxing and she customizes it to your skin type. She has made my skin look years younger! Pros: Amazing facials more

Matrix Fitness and Spa is a second to NONE retreat for your intense workouts and rejuvenating spa treatments. \r \r It's clean, never crowded, competitively priced, and friendly. I thought this place was going to be outrageously expensive for all the amenities they offer and I was completely wrong. \r \r The yoga and pilates classes taught by Becky are comfortable for all experience levels and although she'll keep you smiling with her bubbly personality, you're also going to get a killer work-out. \r \r The spa is gorgeous. I had an incredible massage and would recommend this place to anyone. Matrix Spa is where you can relax and get some ""me"" time!\r \r They even have FREE parking!\r \r When you're done getting pampered in the spa...head downstairs to Wholly Tomato for one of the tastiest and healthiest meals in Denver! I joined Matrix Fitness and Spa in September and I am looking forward to enjoying my new found love for fitness and spa services for months to come. Matrix has been the only gym Ive enjoyed going to because of the relaxed and incredibly clean environment. I love the fact that membership is limited because its not ever overly crowded or loud. Another great thing is that the staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I started to fit in workouts on a more regular basis this month, and will continue to do so because for the first time ever I actually enjoy going to the gym. It is also great that there is a spa right off of the gym. It makes the nightmare of scheduling much easier and it is fantastic to have one place to work out and get spa services.
