Professionals and other people short on time will love this gym. The membership cap means that I have never waited for a piece of equipment in the three months since I joined. The locker rooms are a spectacular mix of wood and stone you would expect to see at a much more expensive club. Matrix has a pretty classy crowd and you won't have meatheads grunting and banging weight off their chest or leering at women. Group fitness classes are run by very professional and knowledgeable trainers (don't know what some other jokers are talking about) that will not hesitate to push you safely. Emilee, Cliff , and Anthony alone are worth it! But sometimes I wish there were more very early or very late because of my work schedule. The classes are rarely full since everyone is outside during the summer anyway. But other places in town are either packed (24 hour fitness) or charge way too much for being in run down dumpy old buildings (Denver/Colorado Athletic Club). Practical people, that want a bit of style in their gym, and are looking for good equipment and not a social hour will be very pleased.
Pros: Locker Room, Small Classes, Trainers, New Equipment, Clean Gym, Fresh Towels, Clientele
Cons: Class times for workaholics
