Peruse the everchanging Art Corridor that bridges the garden & front studios to realize that creativity, talent, and the kindness to share inspires students and teachers here. Don't be shy--try a new style--you'll be welcome. Most teachers come early or stay late to answer questions in the ""yoga lobby"" by the front desk, but they'll watch out for you in class, too.--injury prevention and subtle adjustments are common here. Many teachers have backgrounds in yoga therapy, personal training, and dance as well as multiple certification in different yoga styles and experience teaching athletes, children, and beginners.
If you want to learn about breathing techniques, yoga music, philosophy, and tradition it's all here,in multiplicity. The variety is astounding!
For a strong vinyasa class with individualized teaching and enjoyable music, I recommend Sherida Mulrowe and Jennifer Long.
Even if you've been practicing for years, you'll be challenged by a class with Sarah Isenberg or Christine Burke9 who are also very beginner friendly).
