I went to the one in Irvine and got the free consult. I met the carsalesman, he is everything you guys described. He gave me the creeps and only talked about $ and how I needed at least 4 treatments for my face to get it perfect. Only $2,500 a treatment ! I have adult acne and redness I want fixed but not sure if it will work since they don't have any before or after pictures (I asked) He gave me a deal for two treatments ($3,000) and the doctor looked at me for less than 2 min (I liked him) and said it could be done. The rest of the staff seemed nice especially the nurse who explaines some of the proccess to you and what products I should be using to not aggravate my acne and help my overall complexcion. My credit was approved for the treatment and even though they were very pushy on me having the treatment right then and there, I still did not feel confortable having it because of the creepy carsalesman. I felt he was cheating me and needed more time to do some research on this place before I put my hard earned money and hopes into this place. I said I would call them later for my treatments and hurried out of there. The staff had mentioned to me they had work done on them and they looked alright (even the carsalesman) but I want real proof by real people who are not on the payroll. I'm just your average mom who dosent have a lot of time or money to waste but wants to look better and feel better when looking in the mirror. I don't have to be perfect, just noticablly better. Can someone give me good news? I will take the horror stories to if there are any too. Let me save you some TIME and MONEY ""DON'T GO"" These people are very rude and don't care about you, they just want your money. They will try to get you to spend money before they even tell you what they are going to do. They want the full amount up front which can range from $8,000 to $20,000 so they force you to apply for a a high interest loan before explaning anything to you. I worked in sales before and I know when someone is just trying to ripe you off, and trust me these people just want your money. You feel rushed and as soon as you start to ask questions they will kick you out. The doctor never sees you, they just use a salesperson to do all the dirty work for the doctor. PLEASE DON'T GO but if you want to learn the hard way then go ahead and go. You'll regret it. Cons: everything...not worth your money more

He told me no. I asked why it would not be possible.\r \r Then said he was going to get the Dr but he actually sent in a male nurse to tell me that they would honor the 10k quote for a week and that I had to leave.\r \r DONT GO HERE.\r DONT SEND LOVED ONES HERE.\r ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE KIDS OR ARE EMBARASSED BY THEIR CONDITION.\r \r I am a 26 year old guy from socal who has done good for myself and my family. Don't wanna say who I am... but I just thought it would be appropriate to state that LDI did a phenomenal job on my skin rejuvenation. My fiance has very strict parents! I mean strict! I knew we would end up in a pool sometime soon, and I know I had to get rid of my DRAGON tattoo. I reluctantly got my tattoo removed here. Stage after stage, and their after care, I couldn't believe how my tattoo was literally fading before my eyes. The most amazing thing is after just one treatment how much it was gone. I have no regrets, wasn't even painful as they say it is. Also, I was really taught that your personal after care really matters. You have to take complete control and take care of your own body when you leave the office. This produced the best results for me.\r \r Thank you LDI. I am a believer now. more

I've been going here for one month straight, 2 treatments per week. I completed the last treatment on Friday, and significantly improved my stretch marks, and acne scars.\r \r Great place to go for any laser services I'm sure of it! more

Definitley they are far superior than anywhere else. I have moles, freckles, acne pits, and scars. All four conditions, only this dermatologist could do anything about them. The doctor strategically planned out my treatment schedule, and I am already almost at the finish line.\r \r Don't know what I would've done without this dermatologist. Thank you Doc. more

I totally disagree with the review below! Not only did the staff offer to help me with my children, they actually played with them, all 4 of them. Usually at other places, (even movie theatres) I get the cold energy from staff if I bring all of my children. This staff at this dermatology clinic actually helped me! I am eternally grateful for the peace of mind they gave me whenever I would go get my treatments done. They are very warm, and just all around provide a compassionate environment. I would highly recommend this place to everyone that I know. Even better is my acne scarring is 90% all gone, and mine were horrid! I have one more treatment to go and it is worth every penny. I am disturbed by the review below, how shallow. I even saw a lady running out of the Laser Clinic stealing all their paperwork. Totally unjustified! more

The staff was completely rude. When I entered the office the staff would never smile or be friendly. The doctor himself was worse, ignored me when I said hi to him and was just plain rude. When I went in for my orientation the doctor's assistant was basically a salesman who used scare tactics to try to get me to spend my money there. I knew it sounded fishy, I should have used my instincts but I was tired of being depressed over my acne scarring. While the treatments did work to an extent, I actually ended up having more redness on my face as a result of the lasers. My face did end up being smoother, but after my treatments I still have some scarring and pigmentation that I didn't have previously. It also cost me $8000. It's obvious they are just trying to make a lot of money with all their advertising tactics...but if you want someone who actually cares and will fix your acne problems go somewhere else. Pros: The cleansers helped. Cons: Rude staff, ineffective laser treatments, and overly expensive. more

Great Doctor, Great Facilities, Very nice staff. The nurses are very nice as well.\r \r My treatments lasted for 6 months, and I can't believe I can actually say that I look perfect.\r \r Didn't think it would turn out this good. I would definitley recommend this place to everyone. more

Ironically a little 8 year old brat turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. He walked by me and said ""do you need any more cottage cheese?"" Laughed his behind off and ran away. At that time I was so embarassed, but didn't realize that my cellulite was that bad! I cried for days. I decided to be proactive and research, and found a laser called THERMAGE. I went to Laser Dermatology Institute of California and just did one treatment. ONE. YES. JUST ONE. No more cellulite! The Doctor said it will last up to 2 years even. Where are you little boy? You little! Thank you! And no, I don't need any more cottage cheese! Pros: no more cottage cheese! Cons: a tad bit embarassing to show off some cellulite! more

I have some serious skin disorder. This is the only place that took me under careful observation before any given procedure. Doctor Respler refused to do any treatments until a series of appointments to study my particular skin problem. I can't thank him enough. It's been a heck of a journey... finally i have my happy ever after. One more laser treatment and I am free from the bonds of hell. more

My most recent visit was outstanding at LDI. The Dr. is truly an expert and is up-to-date on all laser equipments. I realized that with laser equipment, you really need the Doctor to have many years of experience and training. It's not just about the newest and coolest laser machine, but the driver behind it. I feel like I have to shout on top of a mountain! I can't believe mix2 laser is a miracle!\r Co2 really smoothed out ALL OF MY WRINKLES!\r \r I don't want to share this secret, but it is the best way to deal with wrinkles, while you are working. My sister and I have bad acne. I guess its in the genes. Both of us suffered from acne scars and rosacea. With faith we met Dr. Rispler, and had so many questions for him. He patiently explained everything to us. It was a very easy decision, considering how knowledable, and professional the Doc is. Great place to go for laser treatments. I am from New York, and saw the best dermatologist in Manhattan. I entrusted in that medical spa my face. My representation to the world. They literally screwed up my face. After three months of healing, which never did, I flew all the way to Atlanta to see a specialist. They coudn't fix it. I heard about Dr. Rispler from a cousin in California, and so I flew again all the way to Cali. I feel very compelled to write a review because only Dr. Rispler could do the job. I mean it. He really knows what he is doing. I am so angry with myself that I spent so much hard earned dollars on fake doctors. You really need to trust the expertise of professionals. Not just anyone's opinion. I can see how these reviews can be distasteful, but how can I stress, that doctor's expertise is worth more than anything you can hope for. I am so glad I met this doctor, because he really cared. And I only have one treatment left, it was so easy. He used atleast 5 different kinds of lasers on me, and i understand why. I was scared to go in any laser office, as I thought I would have to get atleast 6-10 laser treatments. To my surprise, only had to go for 3 treatments. Which was very easy for a guy like me. I know I didn't have it bad, but now I don't stare at the mirror and wonder what in the world happened to my face. I am a real estate agent, and I must look good (if you know what I mean.)\r It was very easy, great doctor, very very knowledgable. Would recommend to all my family and friends.
