After searching on the internet for many grueling days...sob...sob. I couldn't make a decision on what to do or where to go, but I wanted to get lasers done on my face really bad...ahhhh my face was horrible. The reviews for this place was like so mixed up all over the place on so many different reveiw sites like this. I first heard their ad on the radio and then I saw their ad on the billboard and then I searched on the Internet and found their ads here too. Okay is this like way overkill or what? It must cost a lot to advertise all over the place. So I said yes, they must be making a lot of money. I asked myself okay who has been treating people the longest, is the Doctor actually there, and why are they making a lot of money. Then I saw some of the comments they wrote about some of these bad reviews and I read some weirdo remarks from like weird people and I couldn't believe what I was seeing...a bunch of haterz. Beware people others are trying to get you and force you to go see them by writing bad reviews. WOW! I don't know what to say. I just went to LDI to see for myself. I saw the guy there that everybody has been writing about and I don't know why, but my palms began to sweat. I guess because I believed all that c**p other people were saying. Let me tell you that he is exactly opposite then what people are saying. I think you have to be nice and respectful and people will act the same. I don't like people that think they are always right or have a chip on their shoulder. Especially one guy who wrote on here that he knows better because he is Doctor. Buhahaa. Just my take on that. But really no problems and he was very professional. I almost like s**t a brick when he told me how much it would cost to clear up my acne and acne scars. I knew that a girlfriend told me that it would cost a lot. So I decided to pony up and go for it. When I look back it was literally the best decision I have ever ever made. I invested in myself and I feel great and I think I look great. heeheehee *blush. My advice for all of you reading this review is don't believe what anybody says. As a person with very light acne on bottom side of my lower jaw, I went to LDI as a last resort. My face had never acted like this, and I was desperate. I went for the free consult and drove home so disappointed! Some man in a flashy suit came in, never looked once at my face, flashed a 6,000 dollar treatment price, saw my face expression of shock, knew I didn't have that kind of money, said have a great day and walked out.. It was UNBELIEVABLY inpersonable, he never explained the process for my 6,000 treatment plan, or even acted on bit interested in helping me. He said when you save up the 6,000 come back and that was that. And let me just say, honestly my face is not even that bad.. I think he knew I was desperate and was trying to take advantage.. I tried everthing and nothing worked for my acne, so I went to a doctor and she gave me something to help my it and it worked really well and got rid of my acne, but then I got acne scars so I went to LDI and it is the best!! I have been a patient there for three months and the results are great!! more

Paid over $4,000 to get what they claimed to be permanent acne relief. I haven't had any results. The people that work there couldn't be more rude - they have a bad company culture of treating the customer horribly, trying to make them feel ugly, stupid, and like your wasting their time. If I could get my money back and never do this, I would. In fact, if I could join a class action, I would - - there's probably hundreds of people who have been scammed out of thousands of dollars too. I can't believe I don't have to wear any foundation anymore.\r \r I was saying in my review that got deleted. that I had a very visious cycle going on. The AHA, & BHA\r s I was using from a good source was making me very sensitive, peel, itchy, red, then on top of sensitive skin and peeled skin, imagine more pimples, and then purple scarring after that.\r \r It was a disaster. I've been going to LDI for 3 months now... i am so glad i took the leap of faith.\r literally everything has reversed, and it seems like I have completley new skin!\r \r I don't wear foundation anymore, just sunscreen and a special vitamin c lotion they gave me. \r I set up more appointments to get rid of some stretch marks so I will posting reviews again soon.\r \r I am a very honest and reliable person and very good repuation. my review is true and honest. I can't believe the #%#% people out there who think we want to know if they can't afford it or not, or they write about their intuition. I can't describe the feeling of relief I had when I left this office! My intuition was screaming at me during the whole consultation...""leave now""! Being a strong independent woman, I still found it hard to stand my ground to these ""slimy car salesmen"". They tell you what you want to hear (complementing my features and telling me that they'll have me looking perfect in no time), yet you still feel like you're an idiot for believing their words. The actual ""Doctor"" came into the room for all of 20 seconds and agreed with the car salesman as far as a plan of action. Look....I'm not a fool and I don't like to be taken advantage of. This whole experience left me feeling like I narrowly escaped being a part of this crazy Beverly Hills ""it's all about the money"" attitude...and I would have paid a small fortune for it. While I'm sure many gullible people have seen results, my integrity is more important! It was obvious to me that ALL they care about is making as much money as possible and pressuring everyone into spending more money than they can actually afford. But if you can afford it and don't mind sacrificing your integrity.....go for it. For all the rest of us, go buy a used car...it's cheaper and the salesmen are more honorable. being from sandiego, well, orginally from Arizona. I have red freckles. Yep. The stubborn ones even all over your arms and chest and back, and legs.\r \r Not so nice. But what I realized is that I really put all my faith and trust into the Doctor at this laser centre, and not in the practice itself. Even though the staff was so nice and even took my 2 year old boy and entertained him until I was done. I have had 2 treatments already and I feel like the first day I got contact lens when I could actually see what I looked like.\r \r REMARKABLE. Pros: results, friendly staff, great doc. I can't believe the people who complain about the money it will take to fix and improve your skin conditions. I honestly went shopping around atleast 8 different places. I even refused my friend who is a dermatologist. I found that LDI is the same cost as other places, but they have so many laser equipment to double load you, so you really don't feel like it is a waste. They certainly used atleast 3 different lasers on me, and even my dermatologist friend was surprised that they had those machines. Apparently they are top of the line and very very expensive. \r \r now I am glad that I trusted Laser HQ, and not others.\r \r more

I am really lucky because my girlfriend took me here and put her foot down. She said she would pay for all of it if it didn't work. I am lucky because I did it, and I have been waiting for another breakout. It's been 15 weeks, and nothing happened. Everything is gone. It is really unbelievable. They don't open on weekends, and i find it inconvenient to go... \r but one thing is for sure. I have great results, and I have tried more than 3 different docs.\r \r They need to open on weekends.\r life would be so much better. Pros: perfectionists, great result Cons: don't open on weekend more

I am really surprised at the bad reviews. I don't think because of someone's personal feelings, you should not trust a medical practice. I am surprised because I have been a patient at LDI, and I can't ever thank them for all they have done for me. I didn't know where else to turn to, so I finally was convinced that laser would be the option. They have been so patient, kind, professional, and just all round very warm environment. I couldn't disagree more with the bad review. I went to their free consultation for acne. They were nice enough at first. But I sat down with the consultant, and he didn't listen to a thing I said. He took a very quick peek at my skin, then recommended a treatment that's obviously their go-to for anything. And by the way it costs $10,500! But if you do it now, we can do only $8700! I tried to explain that was out of my budget-I'd been treated in the past for $1,200-and he actually said ""Fine! Go back to them!"" and threw my paperwork onto a chair. He basically had a grown up hissy fit! Their tactics feel like telemarketers: get as many people as possible to talk to you, and eventually you'll find one sap who will bite. more

I did have a funny experience. I initially was going to write a bad review, because I was so brainwashed and just expecting the worst. I didn't even wait 2 days after treatment to see results. I know that I can ask a lot of questions, but who wouldn't want to when they want to go to a place for their face? I certainly thought that I would get the boot with my LIST of questions... but no, they were happily answered and it just blew me away. I am very glad that I went for my free consultation. It was so worth it, because today will be the fourth treatment, and am very surprised how much it has changed me skin already.\r \r Pros: tons of parking spaces, very good with kids. Cons: wait time was 15 minutes more

I usually don't write reviews, not even for my favorite restaurants. Although this Laser HQ is so worth commending. I can't believe that the laser treatments actually worked! I was actually frightened at the beginning, and thought that it would be just be a big waste of money. Somehow I had complete blind faith in Dr. Rispler. I am very happy to have gone through with it, because in the end I cannot believe the results. I am a dance coreographer/back dancer... and it gets really embarassing if I have bad acne, and sagging cheeks. I will definitley go back to only this place when I am older. more

Being really confused from the getgo with my search for the right treatment for my acne ridden skin and scars... I started off which seems like too long of a journey down the road to nowhere. there was nobody to lead me to find the right skin regime for me. I tried proactive, expensive skin care, and even to traditional dermatologists... but then I finally decided to try an extreme measure. Which was frightening to me because even the thought of laser was scary, because I barely even go for checkups. I finally found Laser Dermatology Institute located in Covina, and I just knew that this was the place to trust with your skin.\r They surpassed all expectations, and are friendly, professional, with high technology, and clean facilities.\r I was more happy to have such knowledgable staff, and more so with my results.\r \r I feel like I found a gem.\r \r Thank you LDI I wish you all the best ~ Pros: thumbs up more
