So many dermatologists to choose from! Actually medspas vs. Actual dermatologists.\r \r I did go to the ones for the free consultations, because I don't want to pay for the consultations! It should be free... Why would some places charge 200.00 the going rate just to tell you what you need?\r \r I began my journey being so peed off. I really now see a clear cut picture. 1st you must go to the actual doctors, and the actual dermatologists... not spas! I know now what that actually means. I can write an essay about this.\r \r i tried laser dermatolgy after the third try. And am regretting why I tried a free laser treatment from the other place in Irvine. I see that experience means everything.\r \r I now have booked myself in for the facial rejuvenations because it is like they have it down to a science.\r Immediate results, something I would never believe in.. but now I am a full believer.\r \r Read between the lines! more

I have had a very good experience here, first off, I was told by my friend that Laser Dermatology charges too much. so I went to a different laser center for their 150.00 consultation. Just for a second opinion, I went to Laser Dermatology for a free consultation, and they were charging the exact same price! \r Second, The Doctor went through with me why he chose the lasers to use specifically on me, whereas the other place only used a standard laser.\r I am so relieved to have done this because I have completed all 6 treatments and all my friends and family cannot deny that laser really really works.\r \r more

Electrolysis succs because it is so painful, especially near the time of the month. Laser doesn't feel like anything. It's weird, because it is more extreme procedure... My hair is gone and my sideburns are gone, but I am afraid of it coming back. if it does, I will share it on this review. Personally, i would not recommend to go during your lunch break. There were tons of women AND men, shooting off into there for their lunch ""quickie."" Face rejuvenation during lunch? Hahaha, I was laughing so hard at them. They made me wait for an additional 10 minutes so everyone could go back to work on time.\r \r However, I have only done 2 treatments, and I am in awe how much this stuff works. The doctor is like a genius, and definitley wouldn't go somewhere else. Pros: works wonders Cons: lunch hour breaks are for business people! LOL! more

these are three things that I value highly. Customer service, Professionalism, and sanitation. So far so good, with all 4 treatments. The Dr. even answered all of my questions. I had a fantastic experience at this Dermatologist office. My treatments started in 2001, at a very unprofessional medspa, (I won't mention any particular names). However, just in early 2008 my co-worker suggested to me that I should try LaserHQ because they have done it and it worked for them. I absolutley without hestitation went for my free consult. I believed her because of her beautiful skin and healthy glow that I always have envied (yeah you know who you are *Jen*) ... During the duration of my laser treatments one day I was looking at myself in the mirror, and I couldn't believe that there was such a significant difference in such short of a time. I am still amazed beyond my belief!\r There are no bad side effects, and my skin really really looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g.\r \r Pros: Best Dr. in town Cons: The only regret I have is not going to them in the first place. :( more

A real expert place! A 5 star laser center. The doctor here is probably just one main guy. I appreciate that much more, because I really got to know the Doctor, and my treatments stayed very consistent.\r Even the nurses were very helpful. The office is tip top, cleanliness is superb.\r \r Would definitley go back only here. more

I just finished my last appointment. It's now time to celebrate! I've been going through some treatments, and being really good about the after care. All in all, I am so glad I took this step, because it turns out, it is the most important step in my life I took. I am going to recommend Laser Dermatology Institute to everyone that I know.\r \r They did something I never would've thought even in my dreams that would actually become reality. Dear whomever this may concern,\r \r I had very bad scars, from a car crash, and I was left burnt. Even on my ankles.\r yes, I did join mothers against drunk driving, yes, I have had to go to therapy. however, above all - I am most greatful to Dr. Rispler and his staff, and his whole facility of the tons of lasers he has. I am so grateful I don't know what to say. All i have to say is, no more burns, which means every time I look in the mirror I don't have the painful reminder of what happened to me that day.\r \r If this Dr. can do what he did to me, I could only imagine what he can do for whomever is taking the time to read this. \r \r DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! So let me start off by saying, i read most reviews before this, and I just came back from the initial 'consultation' about 30 mins ago. Also, I have not received any treatment from them as of yet. The office is clean, leather and plants here and there. The staff is young and good looking (for the most part). I went into the waiting room, then the second waiting room, and this dude with a Gucci suit and Versace glasses walks in, like he just walked out a magazine or something. He starts off by telling me I have oily skin, a few acne marks, and tiny bumps here and there, like dude... I already knew that. Any jack@55 with a HS degree could have told me that. He also mentioned to me like 8 different lasers the doctor would use on me, like he was just naming things off the top of his head, as much as he could remember from the brochure. He then proceeded to say I will need about 3 treatments, which run about 3K each. The total treatment would have run about 10K, and I would save about 2K if i started today. Now, my skin isnt that bad at all, Im just a perfectionist. The entire consultation was seriously less than 2 minutes long, and as soon as I said I would have to consider it, he pretty much through me out the room saying something along the lines of 'well think about it, and we'll be here. have a nice day'. \r \r Also! Im a Crohnes Disease patient, chronic lifetime illness, and I can get acne due to change in medication. When i told him this, he said that wasnt a problem and that it can be controlled.... like um... yeh dude, actually that IS a problem. Laser therapy maybe able to control your skin, but not your body chemistry. So if/when i get pimples again, guess whose screwed. In short, if youre sitting on 10K in a bad economy and dont know what to do with it, and youre healthy, go for it! If youre like me, chronic illness, and doesnt have 10K to throw out the window, then maybe wait a little. by the way, he did mention there were plenty of payment plans available. My son is 14 years old, and we went through the same thing. We first went to nutritionists, and cut out fried foods, spicy foods etc.. Nothing worked. My son broke up with his girlfriend just because he was getting acne flare ups. He was left with big pock marks at such a young age. My son had really bad acne. And all the girls were making fun of him at school. He didn't even make it to his own prom. I vowed to get rid of the acne, but heard that Accutane has very bad side affects. So I went to LDI and met with Dr. Rispler for my free consultation. I am so proud to be saying this but my son has clear skin, and we shared a special moment that is worth so much to me. Went to the one in Irvine, and the wait time was 10 minutes.\r Pretty straightforward, aftercare even better.\r Heal time was little to none. \r Definite- would go back to treat skin problems - any day.\r Pros: quick appointment when stated that work break for lunch Cons: people who don't tie their kids to the chairs! the staff is just too nice to the kids! more

This Doctor is the only Dr. that I would trust. He helped me ""fix"" what another Dr. did wrong. He turned my hopeless situation and ""fixed"" my scars and burn marks.\r HIGHLY RECOMMEND more

I once heard someone saying that if you do something wrong, thousands of people will know. If you do something right only 2 other people may know. I would've never found Dr. Rispler and Laserhq if the few bad reviews were true. I personally have had a terrific experience. So here I am at home at 1 am and I was quite dissapointed to see bad reviews about my Doctor. After looking at them, I realize that the bad reviews are from the same person, perhaps the same business. They are just trying to start a fight between all their competitors. Just look at them. One of them is even promoting another Doctor right away. Hmmm...I would look at all the reviews good or bad with a discerning eye. Why even use the word carsalesman? Back in the day, that word would mean something. That reviewer just dated themselves. The economy is in a bad position now and all I see is an immature person in a panic ruining the online review system. Just don't do that, it makes the review system a lot weaker and less reliable. I for one would like to see the reviews stengthen and that is my pitch for the day. Maybe Citysearch should post everybody's ip address and time to show who is writing what. Just a suggestion guys. Lots of luck to you out there and we are all struggling. It is definitely tough times and you gotta watch out for your money. Basically, I learned the hard way that you pay for what you get. If you're gonna spend that kind of money better be in the right hands that will give you what you are looking for. I wasn't gonna take a chance with someone else. This company looks like they are successful and I have had first hand experience why this is true. If you are just wondering if you should do it or not. Then my suggestion is don't. If you REALLY want to have yourself look better then my recommendation hands down is LDI and Doctor Rispler. There is a reason they are making money...BECAUSE THEY DO THE JOB RIGHT. To user Sissy! I totally understand! I was in the EXACT same position as you! I was very nervous, and sweating when I first went into the office, because I didn't know what to believe. I am truley a very skeptical person. Even since I was a baby! YOu have to learn to really trust your own instincts, and not to judge from other people. That is what I learned to do, especially from this personal experience of mine. I reasoned with myself, and decided to just go to the most professional place, instead of just a spa... and HOLY COW, I couldn't believe I wasted so much time meandering and stalling. My only wish is that I did it right away. My results, were unbelievable. I was patient, they were patient, they knew I was scared, rest assured, they really followed a certain schedule, a particular routine just for me, and they really knew from detail to detail what they are doing. They are really good at what they do. I know, it's weird to say this, but a million people can't be wrong! you can't judge based on what a few say, you have to listen to the multitude, and your own instincts. Don't be scared! more
