Favorite Plumbing Company!!!;) 6/13/2010

Las Vegas Plumbing was such an amazing company! They were recomended to me by many of my friends. I heard it was family owned and thought that would be better than a national chain company. I was so right! I found their owner Steve Hansen to be so helpful. I definately would reccomend this company to a friend!! Pros: very friendly, efficient, reliable, honest more

Used Them For Over 10 Years 6/1/2010

They have done a lot of work in my house and I have come to trust them over the years. The systems they put in worked great and they are always there for me when I need them. I've looked around at other reviews for plumbers in Las Vegas and this company is always rated highly. Pros: Reliable, Honest, Reasonable Prices Cons: None So Far more

Very Dishonest, Poor Service, They are like Thieves! 4/29/2010

We called them to fix a clogged sewer line, and when they arrived they started doing work in other parts of the property without our permission, and gave us a large bill at the end. They did NOT fix any of the problem and insisted we pay them before they continue causing more damage to our property. STAY AWAY, THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST and will try t rob you. NEVER AGAIN! Pros: Nothing Good to Say Cons: Very Dishonest, Poor Service, Expensive more

I called Las Vegas Plumbing out to install two new faucets I had gotten from Home Depot.Ron installed the kitchen faucet with no problem. When he went to install the bathroom faucet.Thats when the problems began.I had gotten the wrong faucet,Ron told me that I needed a wide spread faucet.I had no idea what a wide spread was.I think Ron could tell i was confused. He offered to go with me back to Home Depot to get the right one.The best part of it all,was he did'nt charge me.I am very happy with my service. Pros: went above and beyond more

great 2/22/2010

from the gals in the office to the plumber all very nice. i had some misc plumbing issues to be fixed and new fixtures i had purchased installed. Plus the plumber advised on maintenence of heater, softner and other fixtures @ no charge. I also received a yellow page discount of $10.00 off. Very pleased and more importantly, they stand behind their work. You can't beat the 25+ yrs they have been in Vegas. Pros: honest, friendly, high quality est. 1983 Cons: a couple bucs more per hour more

Not Honest, Stay Away! 1/26/2010

The plumber came out to take a look at a water leak. Then they charged me lots of money for diagnosing the problem. No one informed me of this fee. When I talked to someone over the phone, they were very rude and said that I didn't ask if there was a fee. I really do not want nor do I expect to pay someone to ""diagnose"" an obvious leak. I just wanted to see how much it would cost to fix it. I got so upset with the company, I paid the fee, which they were happy and quick to take, and didn't want anything to do with them. Ended up calling a different plumber who didn't charge me anything for coming out. Pros: Quick to take your money Cons: Not Upfront regarding Cost more

Ended Up Canceling 10/8/2008

I had an appointment scheduled for 7pm and was told I would receive a call about 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. At 7:10pm I had still not received a call so I called them. About 30 minutes after that, at 7:35pm the plumber called me and told me he had just arrived at another job and had to finish up there first. He said it would be about an hour-and-a-half before he would arrive at my house. That would put him at 2 hours past my appointment time.\r \r If I make an appointment, I expect the company to keep the appointment. Just give me a realistic time frame, I can handle the truth. I ended up canceling my appointment all together and I think I'll call a different plumber tomorrow. Pros: They were very easy to work with on the phone and they're 24 hours. Cons: They were going to be 2 hours late for the appointment. more

Buyer Beware 3/17/2008

I picked Las Vegas Plumbing off a website like this and liked that they were a ""family"" business. I had them come out to fix my kitchen sink, which subseqently I was better off just replacing it. I had a brand new Delta faucet I just bought from Lowes on hand, which their plubmer installed. Approx a month and a half later we returned from a trip only to find under our sink totally soaked. Upon having LVPlumbing out again they said it would be $101.50 to fix the problem, which was more than the install. Since we were 23 days past their 30 day warranty and what they claimed was a bad O ring and a loose fit, they would not cover the cost/stand behind their work. I find it hard to believe I had a bad O ring since Delta tests everything first and if they were good at their job they should have seen that at the install. Additionally, the part that was loose should have been tightened correctly in the first place. Lastly, they claimed since I bought the sink they couldn't honor it, which is just odd since it came from a reputaable retailer and company. I can see if it was 6 months later when I called about this problem, but being so close to the original install date and the issues they cited - I felt they should honor the work.\r \r I would have been better off going to a national chain I believe. I will say their plumbers were nice and professional though.\r more
