We bought a new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport and we love our new SUV. We went to Ford and they did not have a new Sport to look at but were very helpful in letting us know when the car would be there on the lot. We were down to one car and did not have a lot of extra time to spend on-site and they made the process of buying a new car so easy and stress free. They were dependable, flexible and provided excellent customer service. I was highly impressed with our experience! more

Excellent service. A rental was provided while the technicians diagnosed and repaired a problem that extremely difficult to trace. It was a harmonic type sound or vibration that was exceedingly annoying and when repaired the car ran like new again. more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!! 2/21/2012

Been a Ford family for 30 years...great trucks, even bought a few from Landmark...always treated pretty fairly in sales....SERVICE IS ANOTHER STORY!!! LOUSY, CONDESCENDING, DISHONEST AND MOST OF ALL WORTHLESS...ESPECIALLY THE SERVICE MANAGERS!!!! After years of giving them the benefit of the doubt due to proximity of them to me, I AM DONE. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW. IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK, QUACKS LIKE A DUCK AND LOOKS LIKE A DUCK....THEN IT MUST BE A DUCK!!!!! Took my truck in for minor issues to be repaired under warranty and got nothing but the run around...from service advisor to service manager. To assure a customer that some issues had been fixed while others were the customers fault when the truck was purchased this way, then to get home and find out NONE OF THE SAID ISSUES WERE FIXED AT ALL is total uncalled for and disheartening. Sent in questionaire from Ford about service experience and was brutally honest....Kurt the service manager didnt like that bad review and has more

Buyer beware! 6/2/2011

I am so disappointed with service department. I was sold a maintenance package that was supposed to cover costs including brakes. My service plan expired in March, and when I took my work van in for service in May, they told me my brakes were 90 percent gone. I had the van in just 5,000 miles in earlier and they said they were perfectly fine. Does this sound like a total scam to anyone beside me? Anyway, it gets worse. I had a discussion with person in charge and they said they would give me a $100 discount plus $40 rebates on each brake for a total savings of $180. So, I figure I need brakes, and they are trying to make up for their total lameness and I went and brought in the van this morning. I thought I'd better double check on the cost and they said the rebate only lasted until the end of last month and they didn't remember telling me about the discount. And!! They were substituting a cheaper $49 break for the $99 break promised ealier. Now, you can look at my reviews and you will see I am not one to give this low of a rating, but I really feel ripped off because I bought two brand new cars from Ford with their lame-o service plans and they never did one thing other than change the oil. And, as soon as the service plan expired, then they started dinging me, telling me the bearings are shot and my brakes are dangerously low and so on and so forth. I have faithfully bought Ford for decades, but not anymore! Buyer beware! more

Professional, Friendly, No Pressure, and Quick! 12/22/2010

Words to describe Landmark Ford: Professional, Friendly, No Pressure, and Quick! On Sunday I went looking for a commuter car. My search went from the Nissan Virsa, to the Honda Fit, and then to Landmark Ford to look at the 2011 Ford Fiesta. I had previously sent an Internet request with the make and model, as well as my two color choices. My Android phone chirped that I had an email. I looked at it and Sales Person Diane Pohl sent me the internet pricing information, description, and window stickers for both 2011 Ford Fiesta cars. That was followed up with a phone call from her. When I arrived at Landmark Ford, Diane Pohl brought around the Lime Squeeze 2011 Ford Fiesta for a test drive. I will keep my review here to Landmark Ford, the 2011 Ford Fiesta speaks for itself. After the test drive, Diane suggested that I discuss the deal with my wife while having lunch: No pressure, No “what do we need to do to get you into that car today”, No holding a credit card hostage, just a great professional attitude. After lunch we returned to Landmark Ford. I told Diane that I wanted that 2011 Ford Fiesta, in Silver. We returned to the showroom and Diane started the paperwork. The whole process took less than an hour, maybe a little longer because I messed up the credit application (a net versus gross thing). Diane walked me out to where my new 2011 Ford Fiesta was waiting. She showed me how to sync up my Bluetooth smart phone, explained all of the controls, and I was on my way in my new 2011 Ford Fiesta. My wife and I were so impressed that Landmark Ford will be our First destination for any future car shopping or maintenance needs. I highly recommend them! more

Sales may be fine, but service is terrible 12/3/2010

Since the Ford dealer in Gladstone closed, I decided to try Landmark for an issue with my car. The car was making a strange noise and I had replaced the water pump and checked to see if I could figure out what was making the noise, but could not. It was making noise for about a month with no driveability issues, and it wasn't internal, so I took my time to get it to them. I took it to Landmark to have them diagnose it. I paid them 96.00 for the more complex diagnosis, hoping that I could complete the repairs on my own, but wanting to trust their expertise to tell me what to do. And I, of course, was willing to pay them. \r \r They called me with an $1800.00 estimate and I told them thanks, please write it up and I'll come get it. My wife, being given a ride by my retired father, went to get the car. They gave it to her and sent her on the way, with no warnings about drivability or any other issues. This was Friday. The car sat at home over the weekend and my wife took it to her teaching more

fantastic experience with Charlie Wilson 8/18/2010

i shopped for weeks (really, almost 2 months) and was so undecided about what i wanted to do at the end of my honda lease. Charlie was endlessly patient with me, showing me car after car, searching for (almost) a million different options. finally, it all came together and i ended up with everything i never knew i wanted ('10 mercury milan), spent exactly what i wanted to spend, and had a wonderful experience all the way through the deal. the whole team was fast, efficient, and helpful, no pressure or rushing me on decision making. handling paperwork was easy and surprisingly quick. i'm looking forward to a continued relationship with the dealership as i service this car and for future purchases. i'll recommend them to everyone i know who's in the market for a new car!! more

Great experience with internet sales through Charlie Wilson 8/12/2010

I am a first time truck buyer and knew what I wanted but didn't really know how to go about getting it. I went through the internet sales department and worked with Charlie Wilson. Not only did I get an awesome truck, but I got a chance to work with a great guy who actually seemed to care about making me happy. Even though I made it a bit of a challenging sale, mostly through my own inexperience, Charlie never lost his cool or became impatient. I could tell from beginning to end that he had my best interest in mind. I would recommend him without reservation to any family or friend. more

Jim Markey is the BEST 6/28/2010

I don't know where to begin with how AMAZED I am with the personal service Jim Markey provided to us. My husband and I assisted my 79 year old mother with purchasing a 2009 Ford Focus the past. We met Jim 2 weeks ago, and instantly felt rapport and trust with him. What was most important to my husband and I was the respect he showed my mom. He treated my mom with the utmost kindness and made her feel like she had value and was an important part of the process. Often times sale associates brush off our 'seniors' and do not take the time to listen to them or make them feel heard. Jim was very patient with my mom, he was not pushy, he heard what was important to her in a car...and the time he spent building a relationship with my mom, paid off. My mom felt very comfortable allowing Jim to help her, which is a big deal for a woman with a lot of pride. I highly recommend working with Jim. He was responsive to my husband's emails and phone calls, and went the extra 10 miles to make sure we were satisfied customers. From the delivery of the car to my mom's home, to the signing of paperwork at her kitchen table, to pre-programming her favorite radio stations with her, Jim Markey's service was amazing! I HATE buying cars! But this experience was different. I was fortunate to connect with Jim Markey at Landmark and I had, by far, the most positive experience ever. Jim is a good guy, who really is looking out for the customer. He did not pressure me into anything I didn't want, but rather, he listened and responded to every question and concern. In addition to helping me buy a car, he treated me with courtesy and respect and did a lot of little things that were not necessary but leave you feeling attended to. GREAT buying experience 3/15/2010

My wife and I recently purchased a 2009 Navigator from Landmark, we started and ended the process with Diane in the internet sales division. She got us through every step and answered every question; resulting in the trade-in value we wanted and the monthly payment we were comfortable with. We went in to sign papers and we were out of there with our new vehicle in less than an hour and a half.
