This practice is unbelievable and unprofessional. I would not recommend being employed or being a patient there to my worst enemy. I look at all the reviews on the internet and I just feel terrible for everyone who has had to deal with them, especially the Clearys. They deserve all the negativity. more

Absolutely HORRIBLE PRACTICE. 11/7/2018

I was a patient for about 5 years. PA"S jenn & Taylor where awesome. Office staff is a whole another story! Dr Clearys wife Tammy who is the office manager needs to get some managing & etiquette skills. Barb who is nothing more than a receptionist thinks nothing of screaming at patients stating "all calls are recorded maam" totally pathetic bunch idiots! Also take note they DEMAND YOU PAY A COPAY WHETHER ONE IS DUE OR NOT! EXAMPLE MOST INSURANCE COMPANIES DON'T CHARGE A COPY FOR YEARLY PHYSICALS.... IF YOU DONT PAY IT THEY CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT & CHARGE YOU AN ADDITIONAL $50. FOR A CANCELLED APPOINTMENT. Like I said I was going there for quite some time , recently had a medical issue & they got the diagnosis WRONG could have cost me my life had I not gotten to the ER! I rec'd a follow up call from Barb & I made note to her that the PA got the diagnosis wrong she began screaming at me. A few days later I rec'd a letter stating they were discharging me a patient! made me laugh! THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: EXTREMELY HIGH TURN OVER RATE OF PA'S & OFFICE STAFF THEY COLLECT COPAYS & HOLD YOUR MONEY EVEN WHEN COPAYS ARE NOT DUE BARB THE RECEPTIONIST LEADS YOU TO BELIEVE SHE IS A NURSE & IN REALITY SHE'S A RECEPTIONIST YOU ARE EITHER LISTED UNDER DR KUEHLING OR DR CLEARLY THEIR NAMES ARE ON EVERYTHING BUT YOU WILL NEVER EVER MEET THEM!! (NOT SURE THEY EVEN EXIST TO BE HONEST WITH YOU) MAKES YOU GO HMMMM! more

QUALITY OF CARE QUESTIONED 8/23/2017

I do not care for the Doctor's at Lancaster Medical however I did like Lisa Bauman who no longer is employed there. I was disappointed that I was not informed of the change that being said I thought I was pushed through and not very confident of the results for example my high blood pressure has been high all of a sudden it was good ? The new PA. was very nice but I need to rethink my future with Lancaster Medical. more

Horrible office help 3/1/2017

I have been a patient for about 6 years.I went in recently for a problem with my foot.I was sent next door to Windsong for an xray.I went home and called a few days later and was told it was arthritis.I was then given the names of 2 orthopedics to see.I then schedualed to see a doctor at ECMC.They told me to get the xray from Lancaster Medical.I wrote LM on my portal and asked that they send the xray to the doctor at ECMC and if that was not possible to please let me know.I never got The call so everything must be all right.The day of my appointment at ECMC They told me that I would have to have a foot xray.I told them that Lancaster Medical sent it over already.They said they never received it and I would have to have another one.I wrote LM when I got home and requested that they credit me $25 for the second xray at ECMC.They sent me a copy of the report of the xray that they sent with no other explanation.I called them and a rude woman in the office said that they did send a report.I said,I didn't ask for a report,I asked for the xray film to be sent to ECMC.She asked if I wanted to talk to the office manager? I said yes and was transfered to her voice mail where I left a message to please call me.After a week I wrote again and said I was still waiting for my call back.No Responce at all.I wrote again and asked why I was being ignored? A note came to me stating that the office manager was out of town and would return my call when she got back.That was two weeks ago and no call but today I received a registered letter from LM that they would no longer be taking care of me as of the date above due to a doctor/patient relationship.This whole thing had nothing to do with the doctor.Someone screwed up and didn't do as I asked with the xray and now are sticking the bill with me.They are dropping a good honest paying patient just so that they don't have to deal with me.I don't even think Dr Kuehnling is even aware of what the office staff is doing behind his back just so as to protect their own jobs. more

Great experience - I love it there 10/1/2013

I've been a patient there for years and love it - not sure what the other reviews are talking about. The doctors are great and very nice as well as the nurses. I know that I was seeing a PA that had a baby and chose to stay home after having a baby and I understand that - but overall I am very happy with the care there. I never have to wait more

Find Someone Else 2/27/2013

I was with Lancaster Medical for approximately 13 years. It is a 2 doctor practice with a revolving door of PAs. If you re looking for a quick in and out DR this would be an ideal place. The PAs & DRs have set time limits on how long they spend with a patient. They have very questionable billing tactics. They tried to make us pay for appointments for physicals they made but didn’t tell us about. When I left I signed a release form to have them transfer my medical files over to my new DR. They hired a 3rd party. This 3rd party sends me a bill. I was NEVER notified that 3rd party would touch my records or that I would incur this charge; I wasn t even told that a 3rd party would be used to handle my records. What irked me was that a third party(s) had access to my medical records without me signing a HIPPA release. I filed a complaint; but according to NYS it is supposedly legal for a DR to hire a 3rd party to have access to my records even without my consent. Mind you I had to sign a release for my wife; which I can understand because people get divorced. But my main gripe with this, is that I had to even sign a release for my own mother who gave birth to me; but NYS somehow doesn t see a company hired by a DR as a problem. more

if they r going to charge $50 for a missed appointment they should send you a certifed letter and c you on time waited in the room many times without seeing someone for a half hour my time is importment to me also office manager very rude more

What do you think it means when the staff turnover is enormous. PA Victoria is, indeed, great. The others have all left and new hires are right out of school and inexperienced. The staff is in FEAR of Tammy, the office manager, whose mood swings are obvious to all. They can't run an office, let alone be careful or considerate of your health. They are scarey! more

Great doctors office 9/12/2012

I have been a patient of Dr. Cleary's for about ten years now. Although I have been rarely seen by Dr. Clear himself. I usually see one of his PAs,Victoria.She is very good and takes.the time.to answer any and all questions I have. The office closely monitors my conditions. Yes, I have been charged with no show fees that I don't agree with but they have a business to run to Office staff is always courteous and accommodating. I would.recommend this office tp a friend. I have been with this practice for a few years. Was happy with my PA and sadly she left. Was NOT notified, so I started with the new PA a year ago. She too has left and was not notified. They have strict office policies that they will not budge with and will charge you NO MATTER what. I called when I had a scheduled appointment and my child got sick at school and they would not let me reschedule or cancel without a fee. Pathetic. More concerned about $$$ than a patient. No flexibility at all. Office staff is moody on the phone and in person. I wonder if they have a happy work environment, becasue sure does not seem that way. I am leaving this practice and will be sure to make sure I tell anyone who askes not to join them. Sad but true. more

Was very happy with this practice for many years. Have seen and enjoyed working with the PA's. Since then both have left. Office staff is moody, and tempermental. Does not budge with office procedures, yet when they fail to do their part they do not appologize for mistakes. NEVER has the doctor walked in to introduce themselves. You would think they would want to make contact with new patients. More concerned with the $$$ aspect of doctoring than the patient himself or herself. more

They were so great years ago - all good PA are gone - Dr. Cleary's wife is a WITCH - she has an idea in her head and could care less about people - the office follows suit... rude they left PA s unchecked and they were wrong about my problem - I ended up so sick that another dr SAVED me - the drs were not looking over the PAs notes - they want the $ there - shameful - more

Good: the nurses. Bad: Doctor very short tempered, the worst office staff I have ever seen,rude, rude , rude, then they try to blame you and kick you out. Improvements: Any doctor that would hire that staff and emdorse the policies must not have good judgement. Other: Find a doctor and staff out there thats care, LMG only cares about their bottom line, not your health. more

Horrible office staff 10/3/2011

While calling to make an appointment to re-engage in annual check-ups, I was told by a VERY rude staff (Tammy) that they have decided that since I don't care about my health, that they don't either and they were dropping me as a client. Ironic that this determination was made when I was calling to re-engage in annual care. However, she consistently interriputed me, spoke over me and had no desire to listen to me (the patient). Dr. Cleary obvisouly hires the wrong staff and I can't imagine that this isn't hurting his practice. See other reviews for a consistent theme of poor staff. more

Horrible Office!! 8/26/2010

Good: Dr. Cleary. Bad: Fees, policies, rudeness, horrible customer service, lack of compassion, and always the run around. My family has had so many issues with this office.My sisters were late on their appointments by 1 minute and were charaged a late fee. Then when they were disputing it for a couple of weeks they sent them to collections and separatated them from the practice.. Improvements: All the "didn't likes" to be dealt with.. Other: I was also separated from the practice b/c they perscribed me steroids and medications to take care of my non-allergy something rhinitis. I was hyper, sweating and my heart was always beating fast. Walgreens said I shouldn't be taking them. And when I called the doctors at the office about it they said they did what they could. Then a week later I got a nice little letter in the mail saying I broke the Doctor/patient relationship and was being separated from the office. They knew it was wrong!. more

My husband went in for a routine check-up-to,and to see what the rusults were,they told him we dont take his insurance without any notice...THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD TO LEAVE ONE STAR,BUT BE READY EVERYONE TO LOOK FOR A NEW DOCTOR.. more

My fiance and I have been going to Lancaster Medical for about 5 years now. We see Allison Kirk and think she is the best. She is always there to listen and she will give you options for treatment instead of always prescribing a pill. The office is always kind and courteous and I have never had to wait longer that a minute to be taken. I have recommended this office to multiple friends and family members who also love this office. The only problem I have ever had was being billed $50 for a missed appointment. After almost two months of arguing and phone calls the charge was reversed because the mistake was mutual between the staff and myself in scheduling the missed appointment. more
