Mixed Feelings 7/27/2011

I recently had a cut and color at Ladies and Gentlemen. I was impressed by the mini-facial/hand & arm massage I received & by the atmosphere of the salon. However, when I asked for my highlights to be more natural and closer to my natural hair, I received bright, blonde streaky highlights. My haircut seemed great in the salon, until the next day when I finished blow drying it, I realized I had the most uneven and choppy highlights on just one side of my head. As usual, my appointment was wonderful. Amanda was terrific and gave me an engergizing, yet relaxing hand and arm massage after she washed my hair. She checked regularly to make sure I was happy. Kim Lane, who I have had as my stylist for well over a decade, was flawless as usual. An excellent experience in the salon on an unbearably hot evening outside! more

Liz has been cutting my hair for a year now. She always does such a great job. She is courteous, thoughtful, and prompt. She remembers I need cotton for my ears during the hair washing, and she knows the casual but professional look I'm going after. more

My most recent experiences have not been wonderful. If you're telling me this is a trial and it will look better for the big day then I shouldn't have to pay for the service right? Make up trial also did not go well. Will be canceling. more

I've been going to Ladies and Gentlemen at Legacy Village for the past 4 years and couldn't be happier! The staff are always friendly and professional, and they go out of their way to make sure that guests are comfortable and well taken care-of. My stylist is Vanessa, and she is wonderful!! She always takes the time to talk with me about my style ideas, she never rushes through an appointment, and she is amazing at what she does! My hair isn't the easiest to work with, but I can honestly say that I am thrilled with the results after EVERY appointment! more

I have been going to Ladies and Gentlemen for several years. I have noticed a difference in the deliverance of service over the last several visits and I dont mean in a good way. I am going to try a non Aveda salon for the first time in 12 years. I was not happy with the cut or color retouch (too light) and the cut I could of paid half as much. I think they need to teach custumer service skills to their stylist and in general up the skills of their stylist if they want to continue to charge $50. plus for a single process and cuts at $50 plus for something above Best cuts more
