Kerivan Lane 1/12/2018

Ron called me about 30 minutes before arriving which I requested. I asked him to wear floor protectors over his shoes which he did. He inspected my split ac/heat unit thoroughly and recommended a part to eliminate a constant noise which he attributed to a gear mechanism. He also tightened a couple of faucets for me. Finally, Ron informed when leaving that once the part was in the shop the office would call to set up an appointment. I have had previous experience with Ron and he is very knowledgeable and thorough. more

Sean's the best 1/9/2018

During our recent subzero weather and snow KL was mindful of its client fuel needs. Without even calling, KL scheduled an oil delivery on a Sunday morning, even with temps at -6 degrees. Because of the cold we had not yet shoveled a path to the fill but Sean was totally professional and gracious when we apologized. He plowed through the deep snow and made the delivery. We appreciated the peace of mind having a full tank but we were more appreciative of KLs and Sean's service. Thanks. more

Kerivan-Lane Inc - No Heat Emergency 12/23/2017

We lost heat in our home. Peter from Kerivan-Lane came out right away and got the boiler going in an hour. He ordered the parts needed to make final repairs and was back within 48 hours to complete the job. One part of Kerivan-Lane's service that impressed me was the terrific communication. Mike, the service manager, explained the process and scheduled the job to make it easy for me. more

Highly recommend 11/10/2017

I've used Kerivan -Lane for about a year and a half, first for oil delivery and plumbing and them for an oil to gas conversion. Everyone I've worked with has been courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I was incredibly impressed with Joe Forde, who did the oil to gas conversion and installed my new boiler and indirect hot water tank. He sets the standard for top-notch customer service and professionalism. He showed up on time, worked 12 hour days to get the job done quickly and was incredibly good at communicating with me about the job. He left his work area neat and organized when he left each evening, and completely cleaned up the job site when the work was done. He gave me his cell number so I could reach him directly with any issues and to coordinate the gas hook up with the gas company. He was incredibly responsive when I needed to reach him in off hours. This was hands down the best experience I've had with any plumber in 15+ years of home ownership. I would definitely work with both Joe and Kerivan- Lane again and refer my friends and family. more

Boiler replacement 11/6/2017

I am pleased with my recent purchase of an Energy Kinetics boiler and water tank from Kerivan-Lane. Kevin McClay was very helpful with the whole process and Joe Forde did an excellent job of installing the system. I have been a customer with Kerivan-Lane for 14 years and have had five star service throughout the whole time. I have recommended them to both friends and family. Their experience was also five star worthy. more

I am shocked reading these reviews. We have only had outstanding service and courtesy from their employees, technicians and family members. We use them for oil and plumbing and never hesitate to recommend them. more

Family has been a customer for Decades. They average more than 40 cents a gallon Vs their competitors? is their oil any different? shop around you can do better. Avoid at all costs.... more

Never will use this company again!!! 5/18/2011

I was locked into a rate and when they came in April they didn't fill it all the way. I ran out of oil in May. I called to get a 50 gallon fill, they came and filled it a 100 gallons. The bill clearly states 50 gallons in red pen. I called and talked to owner. He said the man made a mistake and he was taking 25 cents off a gallon. So now their mistake is going to cost me $200 dollars. Any respectable company would of said" this is our mistake we will give the the 50 gallons we over filled you for the rate you were locked into when we didn't fill your tank last month". Was told if I wanted to go some where else that I could. So I am. more

If you want a worst service ever, want to get yelled at by the customer service or the manager, go for this company, you will get them all!!! They shouted out on the phone:" YES!! YOU NEED TO PAY FOR OUR MISTAKE, I AM NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO YOU, BYE-BYE" more

Complete Scumbags 4/14/2011

Buyer Beware - if oil goes over the locked-in price - they won't fill you tank so you run out of oil before the season is over and then you get an enormous bill. more

This company has been with me for almost my entire life, my parents, and grandparents used them, and now I do too. They have always been on time, responsible, and ethical in their workings. Never once have I had a bad experience with them. The boss' especially know how to take care and respect his employees and manage a business. Keep up the great work Kerivan Lane! more

Ethical? 3/24/2011

This year I finally noticed something. I saw on our slip they marked "tank not full". When I called the girl who answered said They instruct their drivers to not fill tanks or only give 100 gallons in March. This is so that they do not give any oil at contract price that will be used past the April 1st contract date. The scam is, I looked into it and they purposely did not deliver any oil in Feb in order to let our tank run down. Of course a home in New England should get oil in Feb. They tricked us out of about $200.00. That is probably $200.00 per customer. We have used them for about 4 years just for oil, no repairs. This year we also had a problem that they started charging our credit card in the fall without us approving it and I also had to call because they double charged our credit card one month. I question if these mistakes are common with the hopes of them going unnoticed. more
