Never been treated so well 12/27/2010

I had a wonderful experience buying a new car at Jennings! The customer service was out of this world and the knowledge that everyone had about the cars was amazing! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy or lease a car. I have never been treated so well at a dealership before! I will be going back to Jennings the next time I need a car! more

Completely satisfied 12/21/2010

I had not even considered a Chevrolet when I was looking to buy a used car, but everyone I knew encouraged me to give Jennings a shot. After a few weeks of car hunting, I finally came to their dealership. I was greeted by Adel, who spent time listening to what I was looking for and he helped me find the best car for my needs. This dealership offered me roughly three times what my most optimistic projections were for my trade in. I'm usually pretty calm and collected in a sales situation, but I think the look of astonishment was apparent on my face when we worked out the numbers. Since it was a cash transaction, there were no financing numbers for them to mess with. Adel did not use high pressure sales tactics. The car is in excellent mechanical condition. It was thoroughly inspected and repaired by their service department (who were happy to provide the service history) before being put up for sale, and was backed by a 3 month 3,000 mile warranty (added at no extra charge, and this vehicle was listed AS IS) and included a free CARFAX report on the vehicle available for viewing online. Adel was able to assist me with everything, and I am completely satisfied with my sales experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Jennings to my friends and family. more

Making me feel comfortable 12/17/2010

Nikki greeted me promptly when I arrived. She showed me the cars that I was interested in and explained their features. She offered me a test drive and demonstrated how to adjust the seat to a proper height for me. She answered all of my questions, making me feel comfortable with my choice. She was courteous and efficient throughout. more

Rob Goldeberg made what is usually a painful experience quite a pleasant one for me. He was straightforward and honest while actually hearing my needs. I knew what I wanted and Rob never tried to convince me otherwise. As soon as we found the car I that fit my needs he put all his effort into making it happen. Rob gets the first call when we need to find a car that fits three car seats. more

How would I describe my experience at Jennings ? Awesome , great , comfortable ,ect. This is my second auto purchase from Debbie , and its always a pleasure to deal with her and everyone else involved. I have purchased plenty of vehicles before, and I can not ever remember receiving the amount attention that I received from Debbie.From before the sale to during and finally after taking my vehicle home to make sure all was running smoothly. I really did not expect her frequent calls to me but they grew to great conversations. From how is your vehicle doing to how is the family , the kids , and everything else that is going on in our busy lives . So Here I am again another Chevrolet , another Happy satisfied customer. We wanted to take this time to share our very good experience with Jennings Chevrolet's (located in Glen View Illinois) sales and leasing consultant Debbie Ress. We felt very comfortable with Debbie after knowing about her focus for detail when our Son Tim bought his 2010 Mailbu from Debbie in August of this year. Debbie was very attentive to us when we purchased our 2011 Equinox and everything we discussed and requested for the features for this new car was exactly the way we wanted it to be. The Equinox is beautiful and our Son Tim is very happy with his new Malibu. We appreciate how Debbie kept us updated on the status of our car as we ordered it new from the factory. We also appreciate the follow up calls from Debbie to us to see how we were doing in general. We will refer anyone we know to contact Debbie for any car that they are interested in purchasing from Jennings Chevrolet. more

Most positive experience 12/1/2010

My husband and I were in the market for a used Toyota that we found on the Jennings Chevrolet website. Buying cars is one of our least favorite things to do. This was honestly the most positive car buying experience, as the sales staff was not pushy or aggressive, especially compared to other dealerships we visited. In particular, Steve Filippone was attentive and over exceeded our expectations of customer service! We were missing a head rest, and Steve was able to find it for us online and ship it to our house! Informative, funny, and honest 11/23/2010

My husband purchased a 5 year old Chevy SSR - they let him take the car for the day before deciding to buy - when we returned to the showroom there was no pressure from Steve to buy the car. When we decided yes, Bob the financial guy was informative, funny and honest about what he does and helped work out a payment to go with our budget. I made an appointment to bring in my Saturn for an oil change, Kamil in the Service Dept setup my appt. When I came in the next day he gave me an approx. amount of time that I would be there and I was out even sooner. My car was washed and wipe clean on the inside but most of all the staff at Jennings is truly friendly and helpful. more

Friendly and helpful 11/16/2010

Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview is great! We walked in late on a Tuesday night (8:30PM) and drove out the next day with a new 2010 Corvette at 5:00 PM! We wanted a quick no hassle sale and got more than we expected. They were friendly and helpful beyond our expectations. We will recommend them in the future and will travel the 5 hours ourselves to do business again. more

Outstanding job 11/8/2010

We have had good experiences with two car purchases at Jennings. We received a very good offer online right from the get go. Jennings seems to understand that through the internet consumers are much more knowledgeable than before. Other dealers we went to still didn't seem to understand that. Debbie Ress did an outstanding job sealing the deal and making us comfortable in knowing the deal we got was a good one. She was very easy to work with and appeared to have our best interests in mind. more

Second new car purchased from Jennings and so far I'm quite satisfied with the car even though I've only had it for two days. If anything goes wrong I'm sure that Chris or ""Mac"" in service will take care of it. I've been dealing with Jennings for over ten years and have yet to be dissapointed with their service. more

They know how to run a top notch organization and their commitment to excellence is reflected in their staff. I have purchased multiple vehicles from them over the years and I am always treated in a manner which makes me appreciative of their work. They are fair, reponsive, thorough and respectful of my financial parameters. The result is that I always come away with an excellent vehicle at a great price. Furthermore, they make me feel as if they are working on my behalf, which is exactly what is taking place. They want satisfied customers and they are batting 100% with me. Once again, that was my experience this month when purchasing a Malibu. My sales rep, Chris Hallenberg, was superb as was John Schmidt, the Business Mgr. The Service Dept. is equally well run. Chris Hallenberg is by the far the best salesman and Jennings Chevrolet is the best place to buy a vehicle. Each night we worked with Chris he stayed past hours, and worked with us on different financing options and test drove many vehicles. Chris listen to us on everything we wanted in a new vehicle. Very Pleased 10/12/2010

My wife was looking for a used car 5 years ago, and found a vehicle that fit her needs at Jennings. Adel made us a deal that was outstanding, and we've been pleased with the car ever since. Over the last 5 years, he always remembered and was grateful for our purchase. Very friendly and personable. Last month I was looking for a used car, and found one I almost bought. Remembering Adel, I presented my need to him and told him I was thinking about this car from another dealer. Adel was able to locate a NEW car (Chevrolet HHR) for only slightly more than the 1 year old car I was looking at. I am very pleased with Jennings and Adel, and would not have purchased a new car without his help. more

Truly listened 10/8/2010

I want to take this opportunity to compliment one of your sales associates regarding my car buying experience. On Monday September 27, 2010, I met Peter McDonald. I have physical challenges that require specific needs in choosing a car. Peter was the first car salesman I encountered that truly listened to my needs. Not only did he listen, but also went out of his way to make sure that the car I was choosing met my needs. I use a walker. The car I was interested in purchasing was the Chevy Aveo Hatchback. Peter and I discovered that the walker did not fit in the back without dropping down the back seats. This would not work for me. Peter discovered that a customer had brought his Aveo Sedan in for service. He asked the gentleman if we could see if my walker would fit into the trunk. The customer agreed, so I gave Peter my walker to see if it would fit. He brought it back saying that it would fit, but wanted me to put it into the trunk to make sure that I could do it as well. The next challenge was to find the car in red, and once again, Peter came through. He found the exact car I was looking for. Last night, I was talking with one of my neighbors, and mentioned that I had bought a new car. The neighbor rolled her eyes, and said that she and her husband were in the process of car shopping. I told her that I had the most positive experience in purchasing my car from Peter. I gave her Peter?s business card, and hopefully they will be calling or stopping in to shop. I think what took her by surprise is when I said, ?positive experience?. I have had my Cavalier serviced for several years at Jennings Chevrolet, and have always been very happy with the service department. However, this was the first time I have purchased a car from your establishment. Unfortunately, in today?s world, good customer service is the exception rather than the rule. I have been in the service industry all of my working life, and have always prided myself on providing exceptional customer service. It was such a pleasure to be the recipient of great customer service. Thanks again for such a great car buying experience. more

Wonderful experience 10/1/2010

I wanted to let you know that I had one of the most pleasurable experiences purchasing a new car. I have bought other cars in the past and none can compare to the wonderful experience I had at Jennings with Debbie Ress. I love my Malibu, it's a great car with good gas millage and low maintenance. But, the initial purchase and contact with the sales woman was more than I expected. She will not only be my only sales woman but she is the first person I look for when I go get my oil changed and service to my car. I hope other people can have the same experience as I did with Debbie. more

Experience was very good 9/27/2010

I started looking at new cars in June...due to unexpected personal setbacks and delays, I wasn't able to make a purchase until September. Debbie Ress helped me the whole time. She never gave up on me, and kept in touch with information on availability and pricing on the model I was interested in. She even searched for my favorite colors! When I was finally able to go back in to choose and buy a car, she explained in great detail all options on various models, and I was able to purchase a better model than I had originally considered while staying within my price range (and it's a great color!) Debbie familiarized me with my new car and also hooked-up my bluetooth phone, and registered OnStar for me. Their on-line rep (Alain) was very helpful with my first search and inquiry; and their finance rep (Davis)was also very helpful to assure my car payments would work out. I had previously purchased a car at Jennings (16 years ago) and am very glad I went back this time. My whole experience at Jennings was very good! more
