no pressure when it came to choosing the car 7/11/2011

I went with my Dad looking for a new sub-compact car to replace my old car. Jerry was friendly and very helpful. He answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. He also had my dad's best interest in mind. Jerry gave me no pressure when it came to choosing the car and was very negotiable with the price. I saw Davis when it came down to financing. He was friendly and followed through with my dad's wishes in not pushing me into getting extra warranties and packages. I would highly recommend anyone going to Jennings Chevrolet and seeing Jerry for their new car. more

very easy and virtually painless 7/7/2011

We just leased a new Equinox from Jennings. We worked with Stever Tinkler. He made the whole process very easy and virtually painless. He was professional, polite, helpful throughout the whole process. more

With a growing family, we needed a larger car but weren't in the market for a new car. Jerry treated us respectfully, gave us options, and worked with us over several days to do several test drives. He's friendly, professional, and I'd recommend him to anyone. more

Everyone was helpful 6/29/2011

Chris Hallenberg, Jay Crumble, Andy Nieman, Nick service tech, Mike in parts, Harold in parts, Marvin in Parts, Bob DiCiccio, Ken Ward, Ken Schultz. There is a reason for remembering all of these names. Everyone was helpful and all have be come a friend in one way or another. My name is Steven Cohen, Northbrook, IL. I recently purchased a 2008 Suburban from Jennings Cheverolet but I have been a customer for years both purchaseing cars and service. Any time I call in they treat me with respect, order parts with realistic pricing and deliver. I feel that they really know there inventory and parts. I have never felt pushed and are very lucky to have a Chevy store near my home that has service till 11pm... Other dealers are not around right now. I am sure there are plenty of reasons. Jennings diffinatley is ahead of other dealers due to there people and service. I come from a family business too. Jennings treats you like family by making you feel welcome and appreciated each and everytime we come to the store. Thank you, more

great from start to finish 6/28/2011

My husband and I needed a car in a hurry. We have bought from Jennings before. The whole experience this time was great from start to finish. Our salesman Jerry was so friendly, very knowledgeable and informative. Davis from finance was so helpful and explained all our options for payments/warranty. When we need service I'm looking forward to the same great service we had when we bought the car. Thanks Jennings! more

no high pressure salesmanship 6/24/2011

My husband was looking for a new compact car with good gas mileage and just the basics in the ""bells and whistles"" department. We had read good things about the Chevy Cruze, and as longtime Glenview residents, knew that Jennings was the place to go for great service and competitive pricing. From our first of several meetings with sales representative Steve Tinkler, my husband and I felt very at ease. There was no high pressure salesmanship, and Steve was both quick to understand our needs and very informative. Although the Chevy Cruze comes with many optional features, Steve worked hard to find us exactly what we wanted at the best possible price. After considering several other makes of compact car, we are thrilled with our decision to go with the Chevy Cruze and Jennings Chevrolet. more

I highly recommend this dealership and Chris Hallenberg 6/23/2011

I requested many dealers to give me the best price on 2 new vehicles. I new exactly what I wanted, didn't want to pay for additional features, and wanted to take advantage of monthly rebate incentives about to expire. Many dealers responded with attractive quotes but weren't able to find vehicles to match them. Two of the lowest quotes I received were from Chris H. with Jennings Chevrolet. After talking to him further, he was able to deliver the vehicles for the same low prices within a few days so I qualified for the rebates. Chris was extremely professional throughout the search and purchase process. He was courtious, respectful, quick, and most importantly kept his word. Within 1 week from my original request, I purchased 2 new vehicles from Jennings Chevrolet and was thouroughly satisfied with their prices and their services. I highly recommend this dealership and Chris Hallenberg as a sales representative. more

No-nonsense 6/21/2011

After researching the car I wanted (Used VW Eos) for a couple months and dealing with a couple dealerships, I was very pleased to find the car I wanted at the PRICE I wanted along with the certified pre-owned warranty at Jennings VW. I dealt with Adel and the whole experience was different from my experiences at other dealerships that same week. No-nonsense, no haggling, straightforward pricing. Didn't try to sell me stuff I did not need. I went in there knowing how much I wanted to pay, test drove the car, and purchased it that day at the price I was looking to pay. I highly recommend Adel Ubeid. more

Steve was cordial, helpful, and focused on helping us find the best car for our situation. Generally I have had negative experiences with car salesmen in the past but given my experience with Steve I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. We originally chose this dealership because when my daughter when was in town and having problems with her Chevy Equinox the service department was exceptional. more

nice and courteous 6/14/2011

Went to the dealership searching for a Crossover and met Steve Tinkler (t-rex). He showed me the inventory of what he had, but the type of vehicle I wanted with certain options wasn't there. So then Steve did a search for the car and traded from another dealership. Definitely went out of his way to find the car I wanted. He was very nice and courteous as well. A++ more

well cared for 6/10/2011

I despise the cary buying process and I had a complicated transaction, because I was turning in a Saturn for a credit through GM. Nikki stuck with me through the whole deal and made sure that I qualified for all of the incentives available on my new Chevrolet Equinox. She also made sure that I was well cared for, even when I dealt with departments other than the sales. She would check in regularly and was willing to answer any question I may have or ask any on my behalf. If you are in the market for a new Chevy and you live in the Chicago area, head over to Jennings and ask for Nikki. It was totally worth the experience. more

quality used car 6/9/2011

I worked with Adel Ubeid, and the experience was easy and Adel was more like an auto consultant than a gritty salesman - it made car buying easy and I got a fair deal that both saved me money and allowed the dealer to make a fair profit. Adel was a true gentleman, accommondated me at every turn, and didn't try to ""hard sell"" any add-ons or play games with the price. I was in and out after 2 visits, and am very happy with my purchase. The offer on my trade=in was much more than I expected, and I left the lot in a great car with a full tank of gas. I highly recommend Adel for anyone looking for a quality used car more

Rick and Bob worked together to find me not only a great car, but at a great price. I came in on a budget, and when they showed me the car I thought they were crazy. Only to find out the price was well within my budget, and the car was nicely appointed. Any question I had they either answered or got me an answer within moments, overall easily the best experience I have had at a car dealership. more

Great pricing & great service 6/2/2011

I had found Jennings online when searching for an Equinox with specific specs & color. After finding what I wanted at Jennings (at a great price only btw) my local dealership (out of state) wouldn't transfer the Equinox in at the same sale price so I headed to Chicago to pick it up myself. After a long bus ride and getting lost on the train system (yepp, I'm that guy) I was going to be late to the dealership. Steve and some of the other staff stayed over late into the evening on a Friday (well after normal closing) to make sure I was taken care of. Even though I was late I could tell they didn't cut any corners to push me through quickly, which would have been easy to do given I was a certain sell. Great pricing & great service, can't ask for much more. If you search online for other reviews as I did (via google maps) you'll find other very positive reviews as well. more

Mr. Jerry Perberg is a first-class man to deal with. I traded in my 1994 Acura Legend and purchased a 2001 Toyota Echo from Jennings last week. Jerry helped with the whole process and we had a great chat during the transaction. He went beyond extra miles to make sure that I got great price for my trade-in, and even helped me clean out stuff from my old car. It's a really nice experience and I enjoyed the very laid-back atmosphere at Jennings. Thanks again Jerry! more
