I usually order the Four Season Delight. I enjoy the chicken, beef, shrimp and scallop that comes in the FSD, it has a little bit of everything. I also get the Sesame Chicken which has a great taste to it! I recommend anyone visiting Longwood to try Imperial Dynasty! more

I am a long time customer, both in the restaurant and for delivery. I just recently ordered for delivery, their ""Four Season Delight"" which includes Chicken, Beef, Shrimp and Scallops. After it was delivered, I discovered that there were no Scallops. I phoned them and the woman pretty much told me how it was going to go. ""I give you credit"" and when I attempted to express my displeasure she again repeated ""I give you credit you don't want to wait for new delivery."" Well, if I were to have ordered it in the restaurant they would have (I hope) added the Scallops because after all, that is the ""dish."" But instead, I had to accept the dish as it was, which was now I guess, only ""Three Season Delight."" Forget about what I had ordered or what the customer wished. It was obviously there way, which ended up being 15% as I discovered a couple of weeks later, when wanting to place another order. My tip was more than the 15% they were so generously crediting me with. This is not the first time that I was told how things would go. The food is great but don't ever have a legitimate complaint, because it will go as they see fit. Very disappointed and I have been a long time customer but now I am really left with a very bad taste. more

I once ordered a delivery before via online and despite I waited a little longer, the food however, was still warm and delicious. The food I ordered were General Toa Chicken and Pan Fried Dumplings and Spring Roll. I've been an avid Chinese-food lover for my whole life. I've been a resident in the beautiful city of Orlando for over 12 years now. If you've visited here, you will notice many different Chinese restaurants around the region. But none of them can compare to one Chinese restaurant--Imperial Dynasty. No other Chinese restaurant competes with Imperial Dynasty when it comes to their exquisite Chinese food. Critics and locals rave about their signature dish, the Sesame Chicken which is one of my favorites. But my favorite dish of theirs is the Sizzling Four Season Delight, which comprises of fresh seafood like their jumbo shrimp and large, juicy scallops. And of course there's the beef and chicken which complements wonderfully with the overall dish. There's SOOO much seafood and meat that come in this dish, it's almost like theirs TWO orders combined! But Chinese food is NOT the only thing Imperial Dynasty does right. Their sushi bar is stocked with fresh sushi and sashimi. If I'm feeling sushi, I usually order their ""Love Boat"" which is JAM-PACKED with a variety of tasty rolls and healthy delights! Did I mention that all their dishes have LARGE portion servings? Their customer service gives you a warm home-feeling, which makes the food even better. Their online service on their website makes it convenient for me to order whenever I'm online. If you're looking for Chinese restaurant that will provide you with great service and most importantly, delicious Chinese food, you MUST come try Imperial Dynasty. It is the best in Seminole County and all of Orlando. Take my word for it! more

I just experienced a wonderful thing at a restaurant I have visited. Not only was the food and atmosphere wonderful but they created something I didn't know restaurants did. I experienced my first sushi class. Imperial Dynasty's sushi chef, along with the owners, oversaw 10 of us in the creation of our own sushi masterpieces. The chef guided us step by step on the creations of 3 types of sushi rolls and wraps. We had so much fun, laughing at our masterpieces, and thanking all those responsible for such a wonderful way to pay for our dinner....er, lunch. My Mother would have smacked my hands if she saw what I was doing this afternoon for we were playing with our food. We were wearing gloves of course, and forced to enjoy the seaweed wrapped sushi filled pieces of delight but it was well worth it. If I'm overreacting a bit about all of this, then good! I will never underestimate the skill of a sushi chef again. Steve was flawless and I was.....well, um, I was FANTASTIC!!! (anybody lookin'?) \r \r Thanks to Tony and Kathy and the wonderful Sophia for giving us all such a grand time. Hats off to Sushi Chef Steve for training us and not laughing at his student's results. We tried our best buddy but next time, I'll just let you make my meal. I couldn't stand the looks of mine. :) Pros: I love it when an owner takes pride in wanting to make his customers feel good. I've read some of the previous posts and I'm a bit confused. I have had (and still do) wonderful meals in nice quantities and with perfectly cooked scallops on many occasions (this in comparison to another poster) at this restaurant. I?ve had the marvelous Four Seasons Delight and the fantastic sushi. Their shrimp and chicken lunch dish is marvelous! I?ve had my share of dishes there. Oh and I?m sure things can happen back in the kitchen that could dampen expectations but I have never been a victim of them. I am a very observant individual, careful to explain what I want in my meal and always looking at the atmosphere and overall service of where I eat. Imperial Dynasty has scored high points with me each and every visit. If ID maintained perfection with me, I?d think something was too good to be true and begin to get suspicious.\r \r This is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic owners who go out of their way to please those hard to please. It?s ok to complain about service and meals but I?ve never seen or heard customers do that and I've even had delivery trips. Always pleasant service.\r \r I don?t know the owners personally (I think there names are Katey and Toni?) but I have sat around the restaurant enough times to listen in on some of the orders taken and discussions made and I?ll have to be honest and say working with the public is a horrible job but I have always heard nice comments. Rather than attack one of the rare establishments where you actually see the owners doing the work and speaking to the people, why don?t you give Imperial Dynasty another try. You may witness the same things posted before or you may be surprised and witness something I have seen time and time again. I?ll be back ID. You can count on it! Philly Roll, salmon roll are the best and also I enjoy the Sesame Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, and General Tao's Chicken. I always ordered their delivery and so far they're always in good timing. Their service makes me feel satisfied. more

We went to Imperial Dynasty last Saturday. The manager Sophia and server were wonderful. They recommended Tony's Special Eggplant w/ Shrimp and Mongolian Chicken & Beef. It took about 30 minutes to get food. Eggplant was lightly breaded then stir-fried. I have never tried this kind of eggplant before, which was not saucey but very tasty. Mongolian Chicken & Beef had lots of scallions in the dish and the meat was fresh and delicious. My family really had a good time dining at Imperial Dynasty. Pros: Food is consistent and delicious. Cons: You will take a little longer to get meal when they are busy. more

Looking at other reviews, I've noted that earlier reviews (pre-2007) are mostly complimentary while later reviews are rather negative. As a regular patron of this restaurant, I too have noticed a steep and steady decline in both food and service, which is extremely puzzling since the restaurant continues to be under the same management. Recent trips to the restaurant have revealed semi-spoiled scallops in seafood dishes, the omission of seafood components of standard dishes in take out orders (which are served in opaque paper bags, leaving you to discover the omission only after you have returned home and are too tired to go back out), and several other noticeable errors in orders and food quality. At first, I figured, ""oh well, it was a bad day,"" but what once passed for a slip-up is now becoming a pattern of poor service and ill-prepared dishes. Sometimes, I wonder if it's an intentional and concerted effort to cut costs (interesting how the seafood has been missing from some of my recent orders). It's sad, really, because good Chinese is hard to come by in this town, and this place used to be the exception. I will no longer be gracing the Chens' front door, which is really a shame, because they used to run a first-class operation. Since there was no ""good chinese food"" in Orlando for quite sometime, Imperial Dynasty had a no failure variable. There food was very good. One BIG problem though and that is they are greedy. The restaurant has chosen to compromise it's customer service for sales. Big mistake. I used to get take out 2x's a week on average until the female manager(who I have been told is the owner) was so rude that I cancelled my order and refuse to ever order from them again. The food would sometimes arrive charred from the grill not being adequately maintained during a shift as well as the fried food was sometimes fried in oil that was past it's prime. \r If you call to complain about an order being wrong which is common you WILL LOOSE YOUR APPETITE from the stress/grief that the female manager(owner) will give you. When I called to complain once she yelled at me saying ""why do you want to give me such a hard time and why are you being mean to me"". That was the response from me calling to complain for sending me a meat dish when I am a vegetarian. \r The order taker receives phone orders in the front of the restaurant where the cashier is and all the chatter from the restaurant is amplified at this area as well as the chatter from the customers arriving that have to wait to be seated. It is no wonder they cannot here the order correctly. I had made a suggestion to the manager/owner to remedy this and not only is she rude but an obvious control freak because she would not hear any advice. The female night manager/owner only accepts praise and profit if you complain she is insulted and rude. The employees there do not seem happy they are very stressed out and in a hurry which in turn allows for mistakes. It all goes back to the female owner she is the source of imbalance here. I would not be surprised if this is the reason they moved the restaurant from Daytona to Longwood. \r If you call an order 1/2 hour before closing you will have to beg to have the order filled. more

Their Sesame Chicken is the best in Orlando. It is delicious and tasty. Even it is cold still good to eat. Crab Rangoon,and Chicken Wings are also very good, too. It is very surprised to me, there are so many different cities current time in the world hang on the walls, it is incredible. more

My friends and me we both like Spring Roll and Gen Tao's Chicekn. Spring Roll is very fresh and crispy. Gen Tao's Chicken taste so delicious, we have been to many Chinese restaurants. This is absolutely the best one in Seminole County. more

My family have visited this restaurant many times. My daughter always like Sesame Chicken. I definitely like Tony's Special Eggplant with Shrimp which is very tasty. The owner Mrs. Chen and her staff are very friendly and helpful. We really like this restaurant and would like to recommend to other people. more

The food is mediocre and some of the staff rude when things don't go as expected. Would not recommend. Convenience of online ordering is not enough to make up for the attitude encountered here. On one occasion, the cashier accidetally rang up the lunch portion instead of dinner. When I came to get my food nothing was made since it was dinner time and they didn't want to recharge my card without permission. Are you kidding me? Obvisously, since it was their mistake, they should have made the meal at the discounted lunch price. Instead, I was irritated that I had to wait twice as long. Price was not the issue. We will not return. more

Unbelievably rude manager... This lady didn't even offer an apology. She said ""Here's what I can do, I can send the [2 hour cold] food back out, or I can cancel your order."" \r \r Lost my business and recommendations. \r \r I'll be driving a bit further to Amura's in Lake Mary.\r Pros: Close to other restaurants to eat at when they dont deliver the food Cons: They dont actually get the food to you and ruin your night. more

Excellent all around! From the Won Ton soup to the Sesame Chicken (best), it was all very good. The Mongolian Beef was damn good as well (more than a little spicey!) Hot and Sour soup was good. Atmosphere was family-oriented. Service was exceptional Pros: taste, quality, value more
