Avoid this company at all costs. It is like taking your car to the dealership instead of a trusted mechanic. Their presentation is wonderful but their execution is terrible. They screwed up my A/C units twice in three months and still would not admit they did anything wrong (I have paperwork to prove it). Instead they wanted to solve my problems by selling me a yearly service. Companies like this give the A/C industry a bad name. They are very slick and will make you feel good but do not trust them. more

My electric bill has been cut by more than 50%!!! While not the most or least expensive, Murray & the crew at House Pro are the best! After all the Gov't always buys ""low bid"" and look where that has left us. more

As good as it gets falls way short of the way house pro has come through for my family and me. They found my inlet plenum had a hole in it and had actually fallen from it's mount causing 80%-90% of my cooling to be going straight to the attic. They explained to me how this could happen and when I was not satisfied with the response I received a phone call directly from the owner of the company letting me know that because we have been an ongoing customer for service and repair that he was going to resolve this for us at no charge. I have to be honest and say I was waiting for the catch, and there was none. The technicians came out first thing the next morning to repair this issue, and had it done with complete professionalism and complete mastery of their task. This was handled way above my expectations and oh yeah by the way the phone call from the owner came at 6:30 as technician deemed it necessary to escalate to him immediately to find a resolution to my problem. I don't remember the last time this happened to me, but I do know it has been way too long. This is the way businesses should do business, making the customer first and rewarding loyalty. It is the way it used to be and I'm so glad that there's at least one company that has not given up on the true meaning of customer satisfaction. more

He knew what my call was about, so I didn't have to re-explain why he was coming out to my home. I think whenever we have air conditioning problems, we want them fixed right away. House Pro sent someone out who came and fixed the problem right away. That's the most important thing. It really affects comfort. They knew what they were doing, found the problem, and fixed it. more

I have a home warranty with First 6/7/2012

I have a home warranty with First American Home Warranty. They had HousePro send out one of the most unprofessional technicians to my home when my air conditioning went out. The Condenser went out and the cause was a simple part (capacitor). He first tried to say the unit failed completely and had to have a complete maintenance service before he could even start working on it and diagnose the real problem. He fought with my wife before she called me. Talked down to us and tried to intimidate us into buying their worthless service plan that does not cover anything that anyone cannot do themselves. I almost broke down and just paid him to do the unnecessary maintenance until I carefully read my contract and found that it was covered and he had to fix the unit and since he said the maintenance was required to fix it he had to do that too. Be extremely careful dealing with these guys. They will try to take advantage of you if the can. If you have a home warranty they only use the calls to sell other products and services. more

They want to SELL! Over-Priced! 5/7/2012

I used them for a couple of repairs in the past. No issues Then, but I did know that they are more expensive. Tech guys are nice. But, wait till they call in the salespeople. Then the ""big"" repair/replacement job was needed. They tried to sell me an entire unit, when I only needed an evaporator....by their initial diagnosis. After new evaporator was installed, they said that I needed a new condenser. But, they wanted to charge me the initial $4,800 quote after I paid $2,200 for the new evaporator. They NEVER told me that the condenser was bad in the beginning. They never offered a rebate to get it back to the original quote. Be cautious!! They try to SELL you on something you may not need. more

The technician was very nice and took the time to explain the problems he found and what he was doing. He also recommended that we service both AC units, which we agreed to do in hopes that we do not continue to have these recurring problems with the system so that it will save us and AHS money. more

Used House Pro recently for overall of the residence; Did a professional job in giving a full evaluation and suggestions for chaning equipment that needed to be changed. Finished the job as promised according to time. Tested the system and beyond their way in replacing that were not in the contract. more

Best AC repair company I have ever had work on my AC! I recently had AC problems, my AC would not turn on. Imagine not having your AC working in 100 degree temperatures in Houston. I contacted my home warranty and the first time they assigned my work order to a contractor who didn't even bother to call me. When I called the warranty company back, they reasigned the work order and that same day I was contacted by HousePro to schedule the service call. Charles from HousePro came out at the scheduled time the very next day and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I am very pleased with the response time, professionalism as well as the quality of work that HousePro demonstrated. My home warranty would not cover 100% of the cost of the replacement part. Charles called the company owner Murray Kaiman and they were able to offer me a substantial discount. Stay away from House Pro! 10/5/2011

I wrote a detailed review a year or so ago but somehow was deleted as I assume they did not like what I had to say. I'm not going to try to recreate it again but what I will say is that it took House Pro along with First American Home Warranty literally 2 months to resolve my A/C problems during record heat levels in 2009. I was beyond angry. A year later (2010) I made the mistake of calling House Pro regarding a condenser issue and they came out 3 separate times with 3 different conclusions (bad thermostat, computer board in air handler, bad condenser). I called my Father and he suggested his A/C tech come down from Spring and his guy had diagnosed the problem in 20 minutes! He also found screwed up wiring in the air handler and some missing PVC pipe that House Pro was fully responsible for since they replaced both the air handler and the condenser back in 2009. I have no confidence in this company what so ever so take my advise and stay away from House Pro! more
