Worst

I shopped for 4 cars in the last 6 years, and this is what I would call a typical dealership. The salesman was pushy, the sales manager was eager to sell me something I don't want...

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/26/2014

You know this place sells at invoice, i got my new accord here which is the best place i was able to find the best deal. i went online first and talked to the internet department, highly recommended to do when car shopping they sent me a coupon, MET with the manager, i think his name was Larry, and they had the car pulled up before i got there, which was cool. good vibes there, i would definitely recommend giving this place a shot when in need of some wheels. my accord is killer! more

Does not honor Warranty! 3/2/2011

I've had minor details needing fixing such as the steering wheel coming apart and my driver side sun visor ripping off. They fixed all that.(ordered a new steering wheel) I told them there was a popping noise on my turning radius. They said they fixed it. I went home and came out of my drive way and POP! I brought it back (since they had to order a new steering wheel. ) They had me get in the car and show them what was wrong b/c they could not find it. 1 minute drive with the mechanic I showed him the problem.) (Yet a piece on my steering wheel is backwards and I need to have them fix that too!) More time from me that I don't have. Yet my hood is starting to have the paint peel apart from the clear coat primer and when I asked them about it, they told me that my paint ""is not factory paint"". I bought this car(New) off Honda West's lot and have owned it since in Vegas. Not one touch of paint has been dealt with since. They had a ""Cadillac cert"" measure my paint with a meter that measures the thickness. He quickly measured my car all over and the numbers were random, but since he touched my hood at the middle, ""yup, there has been work done on this hood."" This is extremely infuriating! I bought this car brand new off Honda West (Las Vegas) lot and with the warranty in effect they're accusing me of painting my car! It is 100% stock off the lot! I'd invite anyone to inspect it! My hood looks as faded as the rest of the car! The finish on the edges are smooth as factory paint and the bolts under the hood are clean with no torque break in the paint. If anything, its defective out of the factory yet they are blaming me for their defect. I'm fed up with this dealership...They say they fix my steering with the popping, yet I hear it again going home. (Had to show them the 2nd time to fix it) They fix the steering wheel yet (knowing my car since I own it, the bottom middle plastic piece is backwards) Now I have to have them fix that, yet the paint they claim is MY FAULT!. I feel like I need to get a lawyer! I'm getting the run around. more

Do not buy here... please read the review 2/28/2011

First, lets start with the initial buy... Took an entire month of haggling to get the payments the dealer, and myself agreed to... Jumping through their many hoops, and offering the keys back to them on a daily basis... Flat out rediculous... Less than a month after i recieved the plates from the dmv the battery failed.. a month after that, while on a road trip to oregon i found out the brakes were fried... The shop i took it to said it needed new rotors... not cheap on an s2000... Certified used car my @&&... Now comes the really fun part... The alarm they installed on the car that came with the gap insurance was wired in by twisting wires together and wrapped with electrical tape... Now, three years later the tape isn't sticky anymore, and the wires touched... The alarm is tied into the ecu, which is badically the car's brain... About a $2000 fix... Now the lovely people at honda west refuse to take responsibility for the damages, and are now denying puting the alarm in, and they are also denying that the car was even certified to begin with... if you are reading this on facebook please republish this... Nobody should buy here... more

Honda West - Worst Honda Dealership in the country 10/15/2010

I bought new 2009 Honda Accord. I asked them to tint the window. When it's done, the left a lot of scratches to the side body. They did not acknowledge it. Soon thereafter, the remote key malfunction. Instead of fixing it, they said and I quote ""Honda West is not responsible for it because the key could have been dropped in the water"" I did not drop it in the water. Finally, suddenly the rear arm broke. I complained to them because it is still under warranty. And they yet again refuse to fix. They did not return your call or your e-mail. They are crooks. Go somewhere else to buy or service your Honda. more

Worst Service Department - 9/9/2010

Wow we have owned Honda's for over 10years -- But with the service department representing Honda at Honda West it will be time for a Change - Their Sevice Manager Wayne Courtland (sp) is the worst he has no customer service skills and should not be in his position - Our car has been in there 7 times for the same problem and they refuse to fix it. I have now made a call to Honda's corporate office and hoping to get this resoved - Can't believe what a crummy job they do really gives HONDA a bad name -- WOULD NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO HONDA WEST! more

Unethical 2/5/2010

I purchased a 1998 honda civic ex 6 months ago for $5000. It had 140,000miles on it but was told it had one owner and was in mint condition. After a test drive I noticed when I put on the brakes that it may have something wrong with the brakes. I was told it was I was not used to the car. I bought the car thinking that because it was from the dealership that they have had to checked the vehicle completely. I soon found out after 2 days of driveing it had nothing to do with me and it was the car and sure enough I took the car in and found that they changed the rkae pads but not the rotors and they were bad. I called and complained and they fixed them and I thought my problems were over. Now here it is 6 months later and the transmission is haveing problems. I take it back in to them and they said I need a new trasmission along with a whole list of problems. I was overwhelmed. I presumed that the car would at least last me a year. I dont drive crazy and take it easy on the car. They want to charge me $4000 for a tranny. With no discounts for just getting the car from them. I was told from them that buying it used with that many miles something was gonna have to be done to it. Wow thank for the news breif. Here I am laid off with a child and little income and they dont even blink a eye. I got quoted $1500 somewhere else. Thank for nothing Honda. Pros: No help Cons: Sold a lemon more

Unethical and worst service ever!!! 11/17/2007

Originally took my car in 5 mo ago and had to have cylinder replaced. When I got my car back, my car started overheating. I had to return it again for this problem they caused. Then they returned it to me again saying they fixed the overheating problem. I was stranded and had to have it towed 2 times after they returned it to me AGAIN for the overheating problem. Now, 5 mo later, my car overheats again. The hose they installed 5 mo ago is still under warranty, but they refuse to pay (saying the heat caused the hoses to explode. BS!). Service rep, Daniel Koneck & service manager, Wayne Kortlang, were completely rude and unethical. Daniel even sent away the tow truck I ordered to have my car picked up and sent to a different shop!!! I am now in mediation with Honda corporate and Honda West. I will NEVER take my car here again!!! Cons: worst customer service ever! more

Customer service. 9/7/2006

My 2005 Pilot required LOF and a gasket replacement, which had come loose, on the rear reflector lip of the windshield. A Thursday 9:00 am call to their local number for a scheduled service appointment ruined my day! Just couldn't get through. Recording after recording. I couldn't even get through for mthem to extend me the courtesy of a call back! Now that suks!! Forget them. Drive the extra miles and get real service at Desert Honda on Maryland Parkway. more

What I expect from a pushy dealership 11/6/2003

I shopped for 4 cars in the last 6 years, and this is what I would call a typical dealership. The salesman was pushy, the sales manager was eager to sell me something I don't want, and they were willing to drop their prices to unbelievably low marks to keep me in their shop. I was quoted an unbelievably low price for a 2004 Honda CR-V, but when I went back the next day with my checkbook, they told me that that quote was unrealistic and is no longer valid. I had to work hard to take off all the extra things they added to the vehicle, such as running board, visor, and a ""collision and appearance package"". If you have the nerves and patience to survive through the long hours of negotiation, and pay attention to the fine prints, you could probably get a decent deal here. Pros: wide selection Cons: pushy sales people, empty promises more
