Review content:
I purchased a 1998 honda civic ex 6 months ago for $5000. It had 140,000miles on it but was told it had one owner and was in mint condition. After a test drive I noticed when I put on the brakes that it may have something wrong with the brakes. I was told it was I was not used to the car. I bought the car thinking that because it was from the dealership that they have had to checked the vehicle completely. I soon found out after 2 days of driveing it had nothing to do with me and it was the car and sure enough I took the car in and found that they changed the rkae pads but not the rotors and they were bad. I called and complained and they fixed them and I thought my problems were over. Now here it is 6 months later and the transmission is haveing problems. I take it back in to them and they said I need a new trasmission along with a whole list of problems. I was overwhelmed. I presumed that the car would at least last me a year. I dont drive crazy and take it easy on the car. They want to charge me $4000 for a tranny. With no discounts for just getting the car from them. I was told from them that buying it used with that many miles something was gonna have to be done to it. Wow thank for the news breif. Here I am laid off with a child and little income and they dont even blink a eye. I got quoted $1500 somewhere else. Thank for nothing Honda.
Pros: No help
Cons: Sold a lemon
