Fair, great service. 9/14/2012

I actually have been going there for about three years. Every time I go with an issue with my car, they are always ready to help. They are extremely creative in trying to figure out the most inexpensive way to repair things. I find them to be fair in what they do. When you go there they look at your car, make recommendations, and help prioritize what is most important to not as important. They take customers' financial concerns into consideration. You don't feel like you're being taken to the cleaners, and work with you on different ideas. They offer to rebuild parts if possible instead of buying a new part, and offer courtesy rides when necessary. more

Great auto care. 9/13/2012

I typically bring in my car to Hayward Auto Care and point out certain things that I notice need checked. They are very good at checking all the things I have on my list of possible issues. They have my records, so they always let me know when I am due for any kind of maintenance or when my car is about to reach a milestone. They always tell me the facts of whether it makes sense to get work done now or later, pointing out and explaining the pros and cons to me. They make sure to give me car education, which I really appreciate since I don't know what needs to be done for a car. He usually tells me that it is better to get work done rather than later to prevent major problems down the road. Actually, the current owner picked up the business from his uncle and I am a customer from before, when his uncle was in charge. I have been going to Hayward Auto Care for several years. more

I have 3 cars that I brought to Hayward Auto Care. After they fixed the first car, I was really happy with the service. He recommended exactly what I needed, and it turned out great. They do a better job, and offer a better price and better service than the dealer. more

Hayward Auto Care has always been great. I have been taking my cars to that shop for more than five years now. It is a great experience, the people are always very helpful. They know their way around vehicles, make good recommendations, and always get cars fixed on time. more

It actually was a good experience. Any time Hayward Auto Care found an issue beyond what the car was in for originally, they called me immediately to explain what they had found and to figure out if it was ok with me to fix it. One time, my car needed an oil change to pass the smog test, and they just threw that in for free. Overall a great experience. more

Good experience 9/4/2012

I've been going to Hayward Auto for the past 4 years since I got my vehicle. I go for everything from oil changes to 60/90 maintenance checks. Everything has been good so far. I will continue to go whenever I need any work done. more

I have had Hayward Auto Care take care of two of my cars, both of which were kind of old junkers. They fixed them right up for me and though the cars eventually died as junker cars must, Hayward Auto Care certainly made them run well while they lasted. I recommend them to everyone who tells me that they have a car problem. more

They do an excellent job. We have a fleet of trucks, and they pretty much slip me in when I need them to. Hayward Auto Care takes care of the commercial vehicles right away, and they always give me a ride back if I have to leave the truck there. more

I have been to Hayward Auto Care a couple of times now for different vehicles. They always come through with great fast service. It is always done in one day. The quality is good, and he is really, really knowledgeable. For example the car was overheating and we filled it with antifreeze the night before. After driving to work and coming home the antifreeze was all gone, but there was no noticeable leak. He was very scientific about it and knew exactly what was happening. He was very knowledgeable. more

Ken is a fair and excellent mechanic. 3/31/2012

I had my catalytic converter changed. My truck has a double so the cost was going be more, but only one was bad, and Ken didn't charge for 2 when I only needed 1 and the cost was half of what I would have paid for 2. Ken was fair and honest with his assessment. I would recommend his auto shop to anyone, who wants a good job done at a fair price. more

Glad to find a new go-to- for- anything auto shop. 1/2/2012

Increasing car noises were worrying me but I found my long time mechanic was no longer in business. Guided by online reviews, I tried nearby Hayward Auto Care. Ken took me right away, diagnosed the problems and had the car ready same day. Big relief to me to find another mechanic I can trust. I was able to get a smog check at the same time. This is a full service station. Car is running very smoothly now. more

Chrysler 300 SRT-8 12/9/2011

I've always gone to my chrysler dealership close to my area but have alway felt I was being ripped a new one if you know what I mean. I was in a predicament where my upper radaitor hose burst which lefted me standed in Hayward, this momment I began weighting the pros & cons. Do I want to loose a arm and a leg at the chrysler dealer not even a question. The following day I google Hayward Auto Repair and the first shop that came up was ken's "HAYWARD AUTO CARE" I called and spoke to Ken, great over the phone conversation. After speaking to ken I felt reasured that everything was going to be ok. I got my car over to ken shop that very same day where I experience excellent customer service from start to finish. Great work my car runs great its like new. more

I am A Returning Customer to H.A.C. They have Good Service And Only Use Quality Parts For Your Car. i find out From Checking Reviews Online when i Had A problem With My Dodge mini van.took A chance and Found out Every Review Was True. they Fix The Problem and since then all The Tune ups and regular Check Ups On Both My Cars Are Done there. more

I've gone to Hayward Auto Care a few times now. They always get my car fixed in a timely manner. I've taken three different cars to Hayward Auto Care. For one, they did a complete engine rebuild, and on the other two, they fixed computer problems. Give them a try! I've been a customer of Hayward Auto Care for 4-5 years, and my car always gets fixed right there! more

I had an issue with my truck. What really surprised me was that Hayward Auto Care had its own towing service to bring my truck to the shop! That was very hard for me to find. I would highly recommend Hayward Auto Care for any mechanical service. The price for value was reasonable also. Not only did he fix the problem, but he added some things to the job. They were very accurate in telling me the time frame of when they would get the job done. Hayward Auto Care also fixed an issue with our work van, which had a leak. He got it fixed over the weekend, which was fantastic because we needed that van during the week for all our jobs. I've only visited Hayward Auto Care twice but both times, I've been very pleased with their service. I found out about Hayward Auto Care online. I was calling around, and they were the first to respond to get my work truck towed over there. They were prompt, professional, and accurate, which was very important.
