I did not have a good expierence with RMA, imparticular the nurses. They pretend to care, and when a transfer does not result as we hope, they give you an appology (with absolutely no warmth), and thats it. As I read all the reviews, it seems like all the positive reviews resulted in pregnancy. What about us who did not end up with a baby and just a cold shoulder. I am not bitter about the fact that the transfer was unsuccessfull, I'm bitter of the fact that it seemed like ""just another transfer"", pay me, do you want to try again, pay me, etc... I would recomend RMA to someone who is prepared to take a negative result like a common conversation. To everyone who had a positive result, congradulations and I'm glad you did not expierence robotic behavior as we did. more

After a few years of infertility, my husband and I found RMA. We have been so happy with their care. The doctors are wonderful, and the nurses and other staff are so kind and happy all the time. We received the best care, and we are now 14 weeks pregnant! We are very excited and owe it all to RMA. more

My wife and I could not be happier with the treatment we received from RMA San Antonio. The medical treatment we received was fantastic and successful, as we are now expecting twins, but it is the kind, caring and professional staff that really make the difference. Every single team member at RMA, from DRs Arredondo and Hudson, to the nurses and office staff are fantastic. If you are experiencing fertility issues and are wondering where to go for treatment, please give RMA a chance. I promise that you will not be disappointed. I have to start off by first saying that the fertility world is like nothing you have ever experienced ...... With that said I can say from the bottom of my heart that there was no way I couldve gone through all of what I did if it wasnt for Dr. Arredondo and his staff. I started trying for my first child right after I got married and assumed that due to being healthy it would be a simple process . With other factors involved we were sucessful to have our child with only two IUI's. Our daughter is an absolute angel and we thank RMA all the time for the help and blessing of having her. We started to try for another and this time it wasnt as simple. I went through 4 failed IUI's and after the 3rd IVF I am now 18 weeks pregant. It may seem like alot on my second try but I truly believe now it was all in God's special plan for my family. The nurses at RMA are the most kind and loving women I have ever met in my life. Having worked in the medical field I can easily compare the warmth and care that each staff member provides. It starts off with their smile when you walk in the door, the knowledge of your life and concern with you, the hug that is so needed at the right times, and most importanty the sincerity and care that is behind it all. Dr Arredondo is the most gentle and intelligent physician I have been able to get to know and really care about. My husband and I think the world of him and cant thank him enough for always thinking of my health and our well being FIRST....through all of this. I would recommend this office to anyone in the world who is seeking the blessing of having a child. Some say that God is in control of it all , which I agree with but I can say that he is working through every person in that office!!! After 2 1/2 years of trying to get pregnant and a bad experience at another fertility doctor, my husband and I decided to switch to RMA. Once I stepped foot into RMA, I never looked back! At our first appt, Dr Arredondo sat and talked with us one on one for about 30 minutes, it was a great feeling to have that personal connection. It took a few months to get my system where it needed to be to start IVF but every step of the way I was reassured they were doing the right things to get my body ready for a successful pregnancy. As I look back I appreciate the fact that they didn't jump into an IVF cycle when my levels weren't at the right place. They want a successful pregnancy and you can't get that by rushing procedures. We had some ups and downs and the staff was there for support every moment. I would email the nurses on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis and they never seemed bothered by it. Every appt I had questions and Dr Arredondo and the nurses always took the time to answer and reassure me. So we went through IVF and I'm now 10 weeks pregnant with twins on the first round of IVF. One of the main things I love about RMA is how welcome I felt every time I walked in the door (I didn't have this at the other fertility doctor). The staff is just amazing, all of them! I love that everyone always has a smile on their face and there are never any negative vibes. I would recommend RMA San Antonio to anyone in need of assistance getting pregnant. They really know what they are doing there and they truly are concerned about their patients, not only about getting them a successful pregnancy but also about the emotional roller coaster that is involved. It's a great place and it was one of the best decisions I made by switching to Dr Arredondo. After 2 losses in a row, I decided to be proactive in researching specialists who could help me have a family. After careful consideration, and after reading positive reviews, I set up an appointment with RMA just a few weeks after my last loss. I was able to have been treated by both Dr. Arrendondo and Dr. Hudson. Both were incredible beyond words. They answered my questions thoroughly, and both were completely approachable and responsive. I emailed questions on a few occasions, and both personally called me the same day to address my concerns. It's hard to find doctors who take questions seriously these days, but to have found doctors to answer your questions...quickly...on their own time, without having to schedule an appt...is a true blessing. They understood my anxiety, and through it all were sensitive, and treated my husband and I with respect. Both doctors also promoted working with me "naturally" before trying IUI/IVF. Instead of recommending IUI/IVF as my first option, they recommended a "window" for trying to conceive naturally before turning to alternatives. I'd assumed that since this was their "business," that we'd only be given the option of reproductive assistance. But I quickly learned that I was wrong. Their "business" is to help people try to have families, however that was best achieved. My blood work was monitored, and was put on medication to manage hypothyroidism and some other issues. I was told if I naturally conceived I would be put on a protocol that would help address my health issues. I'm happy to report that in month 5 of my 6-month window, my husband and I conceived naturally (it took 3 months of my 5 for me to ovulate). We are now 10 weeks along, and have seen a healthy baby and heard strong heartbeat every week since week 6! I would definitely recommend RMA to anyone hoping to have a family and having difficulties. The doctors and nurses are wonderful, caring, and empathetic. They have been a blessing in our lives, and I'm sure they'll continue to be in many others. more
