Our journey to pregnancy has been a long one! It has been filled with many ups and downs and we never thought we would be able to conceive. We have tried to get pregnant for 12 years and have seen many doctors who almost always came to the conclusion we would never conceive. We were told about RMA through some friends who loved their experience and became pregnant after extensive infertility issues. We were always told that IVF was our only option and even then, that might never happen. When we first came to RMA of Stone Oak for the initial class and tour we were treated very graciously and we left with a feeling of confidence we hadn't had before. We made our appointment with Dr. Hudson and she was very honest, caring, and optimistic in our ability to become pregnant. We followed the plan they layed out and prepared for our first IUI. When the initial IUI didn't set the Doctors and nurses were still optimistic and very sympathetic. Dr. Hudson was encouraging and made herself available if we ever needed questions answered or just to talk to for comfort. We then prepared for our second IUI, and this was also a negative. We were treated with the same kindness and optimism as before. Our insurance only allowed for 3 procedures, and we were nervous of the possibility of the third one not sticking. We were told that if that were to happen we still have options and money should always be the last issue, and that there were grants and other ways to help. They eased our stress over this issue. We prepared then for the third IUI. My husband didn't have a day off, and wasn't able to take a day off in order to provide the sample. Dr. Hudson offered to perform the procedure on a Sunday. I asked her ""You are open on Sunday?"". She kindly replied ""We do what we need to for our patients."" The third IUI worked and we are 10 weeks along now. We are forever greatful to the ENTIRE staff of RMA in Stone Oak. We both feel that if not for all of their help and knowledge we wouldn't be able to call ourselves expectant parents. We have now graduated to our OBGYN, but we honestly miss the peeps at RMA. We love those guys. Thank you RMA!! :) more

My family and I are so blessed to have found RMA stoneoak. My husband and I had fertility problems, and found that our only viable option was IVF. After visiting with the RMA doctors, we decided to go ahead with IVF in Feb 2011. The doctors and nurses were so caring and wonderful thru this entire process. Staff was very efficient and knowledgible, and the doctors were incredible. My husband and I were very, very fortunate to have double the success after our first attempt at IVF!! We just gave birth to healthy baby girl and boy this November 29!! So excited and greatful for this wonderful group of people for making our Christmas wishes come true!! more

RMA was a blessing to our family. We already had one child, and due to complications from my 1st pregnancy, we weren't having success at conceiving again. So with much thought and prayer we went to RMA and met Dr. Hudson. She is professional and is such a pleasant, helpful doctor. The nurses and front desk staff are extremely patient and caring as well. We decided to go the route of an IUI, and on our first try, conceived!!! I'm 6 weeks and we got to hear the heartbeat the other day. What a blessing!!! I thank God for this miracle and leading me and my husband to RMA where He gave them the wisdom of how to help us grow our family. Thank you RMA! more

Words cannot express our gratitude to RMA of Texas. We were so pleased with their staff and doctors so much that it made the IVF experience not to be such an awful experience as one may imagine. We are so glad that we found them and although we have been released to see my regular OBGYN I am very sad to say goodbye. They have become a second group of friends on your side with one mission in mind ""to get you pregnant""! I am glad to say that our mission was accomplished and we will be expecting twins in May. If you are someone having fertility problems, I would recommend RMA over and over. From the bottom of my heart we thank you RMA! more

This clinic is amazing! We just did IVF and are pregnant with a boy! We did PGD, which was a great recommendation from Dr. Arredondo, and ended up with 3 healthy embryos. We transferred one embryo and got pregnant on the first time. I am 11 weeks and just graduated to my OBGYN. I am sad to leave everyone at RMA. I can't imagine why anyone would write anything but wonderful comments about all of the staff. I will go back again for my next 2 frozen embryos!!! They have a new clinic in the med center now as well! God is good! more

We are from the Rio Grande Valley and were seeing the only specialist in the Valley.We were so disappointed with their service!! He removed five uterine polyps and I was told I would get pregnant soon after that. Well, nothing happened so we decided to have an IUI done. I had two failed IUI's and I was so desperate for answers. We stopped seeing that doctor and went with a new OB/Gyn. We were fortunate that this doctor does all the pre testing to determine infertility and then he refers the patients to RMA. I had some testing done and he recommended us to RMA. We were so impressed with our first visit!! What a difference from the other doctor. I was scheduled to have an IVF in August with RMA but I did not respond that well to the first round of meds. We had to make the difficult decision to cancel the IVF cylce or convert it to an IUI and still have a shot but with a much lower percentage of success. We decided to have the IUI done in early August. Well....It worked!!! I am 15 weeks pregnant and expecting a little girl!!! We are so blessed and thank God for our little miracle!! We are forever grateful to all the staff of RMA!!! more

A year ago today, we went through our second IVF procedure, and here we are today...the proud parents of a beautiful 4 1/2 month old baby girl. Everytime we look at her and her big eyes and gorgeous dimples, we can't help but think of Dr. Arredondo and Dr. Hudson. We will forever be grateful to them and their entire staff for having been such a huge part of our lives at such a difficult time. RMA was our second fertility clinic that we visited here in San Antonio. We went through two IUI's and both failed. Shortly after I visited my new OB/Gyn who then recommended Dr. Arredondo to us. We were impressed immediately with the attention and detail in which everything was explained to us, and we also now understand why the previous procedures did not work for us. We began the road to IVF. Our first procedure failed even though everything was perfect. We then decided it would be a good idea to have exploratory surgery performed to rule out any endometriosis and or other issues. Sure enough..I had to have one of my fallopian tubes removed, as it had basically deteriorated. This was releasing what can basically be explained as "toxic fluid" into my uterus, which is what affected the embryos. Throughout my surgery, I had my husband and father in law by my side with the authorization to make any decisions for me. My father in law met Dr. Arredondo for the first time and was very impressed to see that Dr. Arredondo was EXTREMELY HUMBLED by his findings in me, as he admitted he would have never thought I would have had this problem since I never showed any signs. Thankfully round two was a success! more

I had a miscarriage, one son naturally (who is now 5), and another miscarriage. After the second miscarriage, testing was done and a Robertsonian Translocation was found. Our odds to conceive naturally were very low so we decided to look at IVF with PGD testing. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I research until I can't research any more on things. We were prepared to go to the best IVF group in Texas or even out of state if needed. I read so many wonderful reviews of RMA and was thrilled that they had just opened a new office in Austin. We felt right at home with the entire staff. Very warm and caring and compassionate. The embryologist was amazing and patient as we kept calling with questions (sometimes the same one but just worded differently) as to our best testing options. I am proud to say that I am in my third trimester with a little girl!! Our family is about to be complete and it is all thanks to RMA of Tx. Trust me when I say do not look any further for your fertility needs; they are the best!!! more

My husband and I are so grateful tothe doctors and staff at RMA. We started our journey in Baton Rouge, LA about two years ago. We had to unsuccessful rounds of IUI's. The second ended in miscarriage @5 weeks.A year later, we moved to San Antonio and immediately started looking for another clinic. We were recommended by my new OBGYN. We were immediately impress with the facility. The staff was so friendly and personable that we didn't feel like we were just another number. At every appointment, we were greeted by our first names. We started our IVF treatment on July 2 with retreival and transfer on July 13th and 18th. On July 29th we had our positive pregancy test. At our five weeks scan, we found out that we were having twins. Unfortunately, at 6 weeks scan, we only had one heartbeat. But we are still greatful for one healthy little one.Right now, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and couldn't be happier. I really would like to thank the doctors and staff for helping my husband and I dreams of starting a family come true. I look forward to returning in the future for the two embryos that we had frozen. more
