I left my appointment last week at Hair, Body and Sole (3rd time) in utter amazement...It seems the owner needs quite a few classes on customer relations...First, I would like to say, my experience with the actual coloring and cutting, was probably 2 stars..nothing out of the ordinary...not my favorite cut/color, but I continued to go because it was convenient....I find the owner quite rude to her employees, reprimending them in front of her customers, as well as advertising NO children under age 6 while parent receives their haircut...I get that part, but I over heard her conversation about what she treally hinks of small children...Well, what prompted me to write this review was how I was treated, as well as the owner's inability recognize what is proper etiquette while owning a business...She actually had advertised (homemade signs, I might add) that she is having a raffle, yes raffle (local merchants offered their services), so she could send her entire staff to an educational seminar! What??? Are you asking your customers, who pay a handsome fee and tip while, there, to help YOU send your staff on a trip that should be paid by the owner? I was in astonishment! I could not believe the audacity...How completely tacky and I thought to myself, what her employees must be thinking...felt bad for them....I have never heard of such a thinkg..For me, it showed her true colors and for that, I will not be back....
Salon itself is an old home in Apex...a great idea, but it still NEEDS a lot of work...very amateur....In this area with so many new salons/spa, I think she needs to step it up, treat her employees better, and realize her customers have ears and are always listening....And lastly, Cheri, please do not ask your customers to foot your bill.
