Maybe she works wonders for other people's curly hair but not for mine. I am used to getting a Deva cut and they cut the hair while dry so that each curl formation is cut properly. Before the appointment, I was terrified of going to someone new (with good reason) and contemplated calling her to verify she would dry cut. I checked her website and it shows her having beautifully formed spiral curls so I didnt call because I thought....if she can do that to herself she must be doing something right. I got there and she had straight hair...that really threw me for a loop! Not good. And then she proceeded to cut it wet and I felt like I couldn't just walk out...but looking back, I really should have. I am now down $140 for a cut and color that don't work for me. I will go back to my regular stylist to have it fixed in a few weeks. I figured I should try her because she is closer to home, but I will stick with DevaCurl certified stylists from now on and not stray.....
