never have I paid so much money for an alternator and belt. I've never paid more than maybe $100 hundred forty dollars for a alternator and the cost for man hours is a little expe...

Great Staff, Great Service, Initial problem solved and others repaired! 1/18/2017

I went to have a serpentine belt replaced as mine shredded. The staff contacted me and knew exactly why it shredded and let me know the issue, the cost and how soon it could be repaired. I had my car back within 48 hours and repaired! Reviews have been correct. Franks is an Outstanding Place to take your car. I will be coming here forever! thanks for the service! dave jones more

George was in constant contact with us regarding our vehicle. We were told it would be ready Thursday or sometime Friday. We received our call Thursday morning. We picked it up before lunch. It was quick n fast. more

Dishonest 12/3/2016

When I brought my vehicle in for an oil change I was told that it would be 20 min. 2 hours later after holding me and my car hostage I'm presented with a bill for a synthetic blend oil change. I only requested a regular oil change. You did not share with me that all you perform is full synthetic or synthetic blend oil changes that are more expensive than what I was expecting to pay. I am that I was basically forced to wait and be late to appointments to pay for an oil change that wasn't agreed to in the beginning. If you would have been upfront and communicated with me about the time and the price of the oil change I would have gladly gone to another place to have my oil changed at a more reasonable price and most importantly not taken 2 hours for a 20min oil change. Instead you chose to make a customer angry for 53$. I will not be coming back here for my next service. more

Unfriendly 10/5/2016

The person that was assigned to assist me with my collision repairs was unusually rude. I never received the follow-up they promised and each time I spoke to that person, Kim, she was curt and very unfriendly. If I asked any questions to clarify time expectations, she was completely rude and non-committal. After 3 weeks, I picked up my car and it was not drivable, it shook so bad I could not go over 45 mph. When I took it back, once again she was extremely rude and not helpful. Once I got a manager involved, he was friendly and responsive. I cannot understand why a company would employ someone in a service position that is incapable of basic courtesy and communication. more

We trust the folks at Franks here in New Braunfels. 10/4/2016

Quick Service with Qualified Technicians. One concern is the $50 charge to check my problem. That should have been deducted when I authorize repairs. The other concern is the $9.44 charge for "shop supplies". Other than the Freon 134A and the dye, there should not be any other charges. more

Made an appointment earlier in the week and my Corvette was immediately addressed when I arrived for my appointment. Fair price and service was completed to my satisfaction. I am a repeat customer and I will continue to bring my cars here for service. Good place in NB. more
