1st clue, when I phoned, the appointment taker was annoyed when I asked questions about type of massage and choice of therapist.
I have had a lot of massages, ranging from transforming to deforming! (Don't want any more of the latter!) Usually that sort of response means they don't know anything about massage....
One of my questions was about scents and candle smoke - I have asthma. I was told they don't use candles.
I walked into their storefront and there were four or five staff standing at the desk, blocking the way. Nobody responded to me for some time.
They have multiple forms to fill out, and the receptionist confronted me rudely, (with most of them still standing there) when I declined to give some unnecessary personal ID on the form.
Candles? They have candles smokin' up the place everywhere. In the front office, in the creepy dark pre-session waiting room, in some treatment rooms I passed.
Silly me, I'd rather breathe, so I beat it on out of there.
Folks, this is a membership place, a McRubby.
It tries hard to straddle the line between a spa and Massages-R-us. Their mantra is "We don't care, we don't HAVE TO."
Pros: Lots of openings
Cons: Rude, Rude
