So far, I have had 2 appointments at this particular establishment. Both therapists I had were new, graduated from massage school within the last year. The clinic appeared clean and simple. The quality of massage was so-so, even though I was very clear as to what I expected.
I don't think I am cheap, but seriously did not enjoy the constant reminders to tip. I would advise Massage Envy to train their front desk staff to be pleasant and polite regardless of the amount of the tip. Please don't pressure people to do this. I would rather have it incorporated into the price rather than pressured to give a set amount for a tip, just because I don't like being pressured.
Other than my comment about the 3 tipping guideline signs per room and 2 at the front desk, the place seemed ok.
Pros: Number of available appts., convenient locations
Cons: After 1 visit, you will memorize the tipping guidelines.
