Great experiences here 8/14/2007

I have gone to this salon for about 1 year now for both massages and haircuts/coloring and I've been extremely happy with both services. I highly recommend Cheri as a hair stylist. She is very attentive to what you ask for and what works best for your hair. She has a wonderful personality and is great with children too - I also bring my 2 daughters here for their haircuts. more

Comfortable and Quick!! 8/13/2007

After many akward waxing experiences at other spa's in Boulder, I was recommended by a bunch of girlfriends to go to Erica at Finishing Touch. I am SO happy I did, bc Erica is awesome and makes me feel so comfortable and at ease, not to mention she gets you in and out in a timely manner. I have sent many friends to her all with similar great experiences! more

Based on the buisness response 7/25/2007

A friend of mine came here to get a manicure and ended up with dried blo*d crusted in her cuticles...I actually have not even been to this salon, but the fact that every bad review was responded by the salon making excuses and assuming that they knew every single case, I don't care to find out if this salon is worth going to. Some of these responses from the salon are posted 2 months after the post they are responding to and considering these peoples NAMES are not on the post, I certainly don't trust these extremely defensive responses from the buisness. Sounds to me like there is some confusion among clients about hairstyling and what is included. Thank you citysearch and finishing touch salon for ruling out one of my salon choices! more

I love going to the Finishing Touch Spa. I have come to know the people working there and I enjoy the warm feeling you get when you're in the spa. I have been going to Denice since she started at the Finishing Touch many years ago and have always loved the way she took care of my hair, hands, toes and face. Denice is a very bubble person who puts you right at ease. It is like taking a vacation for a few hours. Pros: quality of work superior Cons: parking lot more

I Love My Hair! 7/9/2007

I recently moved to the Boulder from the east coast. I had been seeing my stylist back home for well over 10 years. I was terrified to see someone new, but the hair had to be done. I heard about the Finishing Touch from a neighbor who had good looking hair and she told me to make an appointment with Carly. I sure am glad I took my neighbor's suggestion. Carly did a beautiful cut and hilite, even better than my original hairdresser back home, with whom I was always happy with. She took the time to go over what we were doing to my hair and earn my trust and put me at ease before she started doing my hair. What a relief! Carly has a very gentle touch as well. Having my hair done was just as relaxing as a facial or massage. I will definately go back to Carly and will also try the many other services they have to offer. more

After long debate I finally decided to go short. I researched plenty of pictures on the web. Found one I liked and headed to my appointment. Cheri personalized the haircut fitting it to my face and hair type. Now my hair looks full and has body! Who knew. Now I am trying to urge my husband to go instead of the ole GreatClips! more

If you are unhappy with your service, speak up. My hairdresser always asks what I want her to do and tells me honestly if it is practical. I was disappointed when she told me I would not look like Jennifer Aniston but I recovered. They are there to help you look your best and if you don't tell them what you want and if they are on the right track along the way, you are partially to blame. I wouldn't go anywhere else and believe Denice's comb is actuall a magic wand! Cons: Make your appointment early, they book up fast! more

Best haircut 5/29/2007

I have been getting my hair cut and other services by Denice for over 10 years. She is GREAT...... she is attentive and knowledgable with out being pushy. If she needs to change an appointment she will call and she is always on time. This is a great salon with reasonable prices. I would recommend it to any of my friends and will keep going back for more. Pros: Knowledgable staff more
