I decided to switch to a bigger sized tank after the technician (Mitch) arrived with the original size to replace the leaking tank. So he had to run a second trip. I really appreciate his prfessinal service and flexibility. I am very happy with the job from FAST Water Heater company in Kirkland. more

Go Tankless!! 8/19/2012

I asked four companies if I purchased my own hot water heater would they guarantee their work replacing the leaking 13 yr old heater with the new one I would purchase. ALL four plumbing companies said they would only guarantee their work if I purchased the water heater through their companies. BS!\r My 5th company was FAST. Yes, they would guarantee their work whether I purchased the heater from them or anywhere else. SOLD.\r I think it was a nightmare job for the technician (Dennis) but he was awesome! Explained my options, which were few not because of him but because of the tight space allowance and the stupid city of kirkland codes I would have to follow, now that I was incorporated into the city.\r He came back the next day, worked non stop, installed my tankless water heater - and did a brilliant job!!! Professional, neat, took even more time to explain what I needed tol do and how the system worked.\r \r I would recommend FAST to anyone for any job. :) more

I called in the morning with a water heater problem, was given appropriate advise and an appointment to install a new heater that afternoon.\r Dennis arrived as scheduled, thoroughly explained the needed alterations for a safe and efficient installation and proceeded to accomplish it in 2 hours.\r I couldn't be happier!\r DLamb 8-14-12 more

Review for Fast Water Heater Company 8/13/2012

Recently our water heater tank had some leaking issues and it clearly needed a replacement. My family and I have been living around the Bellevue area for over 20 years and this company has never been out of touch or caused any concerns with friends or anyone else. We have also been recommended by family friends to contact them in case of our problem, and it worked out well. Everything was done in a reasonable amount of time and so was the price. I do look forward to relying on this company to help us in the next 6-15 years in case our water tank leaks again. more

Fast Water Heater Company 8/1/2012

Our water heater was slowly leaking at the top and was over 14 years old so we knew it needed to be replaced. We called a PSE advisor to discuss options and get referrals for who we should have come out to replace our water heater. Fast Water Heater was one of the referred companies. We were quoted $799 without tax and an additional $100 for a permit to ensure it was up to code. It was vaguely mentioned that there may be additional costs after the technician assesses all that is needed but we were in no way prepared for an additional $600+. The technician was nice and gave us a few discounts and free showerhead. I agree with the other reviewers who say they wished they were a little more prepared upfront with how much the additional costs would be.\r \r One other thing that was a bit frustrating was the fact that they called early the morning of to see if it would be better for them to come earlier in the day that day. Very Fast 7/20/2012

My water heater went out overnight and I woke up to water all over my garage floor. I submitted a Service Magic project request that morning and Fast Water Heater Company called me within 5 minutes. They were at my house by 3 pm that day. I received the best customer care from the scheduler on the phone and the installers that came to the house. I would definitely recommend Fast Water Heater Company. more

The water heater install was set up through Home Depot. FAST was excellent to work with. They called ahead, arrived on time and did a very professional and thorough job. Mitch T. was the installer and he was friendly, quick and cleaned up after himself. He explained everything well and was very organized. Thank you. more

They did a very good job of installation. The installer worked very hard and went overtime for him. I wish I had been made more aware ahead of time of the additional costs involved in code required extras. more

Great Service 6/29/2012

My water heater went out overnight and I woke up to water all over my garage floor. I called Fast Water Heater Company that morning and they were out at my house by noon that same day. I got the best customer care from the scheduler on the phone and the installer that came out. The installer was here between the time I was told, he called before he arrived to let me know when he'd be here, he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I probably would have gotten a better price at a different company for my new water heater and installation, but it was worth whatever extra I had to pay to have same-day service and a neat, proper and thorough installation. The installer helped with some other issues and was very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend Fast Water Heater Company to any one of my friends. more

Highly Recommended 6/25/2012

Old tank started leaking. Called them in the morning and they were out by the afternoon. The installer was courteous and knowlegable. He had us up and running in less than two hours time. I had used them for my previous water heater as well and I recommend them to anyone in need of a new hot water tank. more

Cost is not lower than competitor bid as promised 6/7/2012

The water heater @ my rental place broke & leaked water. I called Sears & Home Depot & got estimate from both. Decided to go with FWHC (referred by Home Depot). My wife was there for the install on 4/17/2012. The sales/install coordinator (Bret) & guaranteed me that the cost would be lower than Sears with additional discount. Turned out I had to pay more (exclude the additional Flood Stop cost). I tried to call him back a few times but always got answering machine so I didn't bother to leave any message. I am upset coz the way they price the line items confused my wife & we ended up paying almost $200 more. Make sure to look at your bottom line price at the end & compare it with your other competitive bid & don't confuse with the line items cost. Reason I give 2 star, the service is fast (same day service). more

I had Fast Water Heater Company do a conversion of my water heater from electric to gas. The guy who did the installation was very knowledgeable, courtious and friendly. He wanted to make sure I was satisfied before he left and I was. Thank you FWHC. more

Good Work but Pricy Parts 6/7/2012

- Very quick response: called at 8 am and scheduled at 1:30pm for the same day.\r - Technician clearly stated charges for each item in addition to the basic "installation package". It is $550 more than quoted over the phone, EXCLUDING 2 parts that are unique to my situation (another $370) \r - Ended up finding new problems with water pressure is 100, not below 80, so have to purchase 2 new parts (very expensive!). \r - Technician patiently spent the time and effort to install the new parts needed, and made suggestions regarding future issues and to-do with the pipe connected to street.\r - Job is very well done, even put on installation on all the pipes. Cleaned up neatly.\r Overall I am satisfied with the company and especially like the fact that they are willing to provide detailed estimate without obligation to do the job with them. Although they do tend to charge very high on any parts that would need to complete the job correctly, or for things that you know for sure would like to get more

Great Choice 5/24/2012

I'm very happy with this company. They were right on time at 9:20 for a 9-11 window. The tech was very knowledgable and explained my options well. He also instilled free shower heads for us! He was courtous and clean and even cleaned up some of our plumbing for us. I would definately recommend. more

A Happy Customer! 5/20/2012

I called FAST yesterday afternoon -- they were ready to come out the same day to replace my water heater! When that didn't work for me, they easily accommodated my schedule, and now, 24 hours later, I'm a very happy customer. Their staff -- both the woman who answered the phone and the technician who installed the new heater -- were pleasant and helpful, made the whole experience easy. Thank you! more
