The only comment I have is that maybe the person at the front desk could give a better tour of the spa. more

Lilly provides the best in customer service - she never complains, makes potentially awkward situations comfortable, and is genuinely concerned about my comfort and the overall experience. Being a Spa junky I was elated to find Essentials Spa when I moved from Winter Park to Melbourne. Not only is it a first class establishment, the staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and most important therapeutic. In a down economy this is the best investment I can make for myself and Essentials delivers in all areas. They regularly offer specials via Facebook and on walk in promotions to help save money. They have experienced technicians and staff and always put the customer first! more

I thoroughly enjoy going to this spa. I am not a spa regular but I do get a facial and massage as often as I can. This wonderful spa offers 2 free services and a spa lunch for no charge to cancer patients. The staff donates their time and day off and does not even accept tips. What a relaxing treat for stressed out patients! more

I come from Orlando just to experience this spa, it's far better then the Ritz Carlton located here. The staff are very friendly the front desk always has great product knowledge when picking up retail items. I've been going here for years and when they expanded to add another location it's hard to chose which one I enjoy more. One location has an amazing fish tank and the other has a huge relaxing spa room. more

I began going there to get massages, first it was OVER priced and nothing to write home about! Then I began doing my hair and my blow dry of $25.00 for my long hair moved to $40.00 then to $75.00 with the same stylist for the same blow dry! The owner a young guy named Tom called me and told me if I didn't want to pay $75.00 for my blow dry since my hair was long, I better not come back! I asked if I could get a print out from all my services and the prices I paid and he refused saying he was "advised" by his lawyers NOT to do that. He knew he could face a legal situation. Further few times they had hired friends or family and I had bruises and burns from waxing my legs. I had one good lady that did great waxing there but she she was busy and they would never give her messages. I think their services are terrible, the front desk is RUDE and the owner and his dad don't know what costumer service is in my opinion! I would stay away, drive to the ritz carlton in orlando, its the same price but 100 times better and classier! I would NEVER go back there even if they offered to see me for FREE! They truly SUCK in my opinion! more

I have been to several different spas and have had good and bad service. Essentials while being large and not to cramped and cozy did not have a relaxing atmosphere. Relaxation rooms were very brightly lite (not soothing). While staff was pleaseant services seemed rushed and were not relaxing. While the spa offers lunches and has a somewhat confined area to eat them, food service is not on site. The spa order meals from other restuarants in the area and are at the mercy of the restuarants schedule. Overall, the quality for the overpriced services are not worth it. more

I have a membership to this spa as Christmas gift from hubby. Great ambience, ample lockers, bathrooms, and showers. My massage was for 1.5 hrs and was heavenly. I had been a member of another spa in the area, and opted not to renew because their memberships had expiration dates. However, I do miss Beverly (receptionist) for her very personalized treatment. Whenever I came in, she offered me tea, coffee, wine, etc. This is what is lacking at Essential Spa....personalized, friendly treatment. more

I'm a spa enthusiast and always look for the complete spa experience. I would recommend Essentials Day Spa to anyone who is looking to experience a "true spa experience". From the ambience to the customer service...I'd rate the Viera location a "10". The only thing I would have changed about our experience that day is the distance from Kissimmee; I wish Essentials Spa was located closer to Kissimmee (The Oaks area). We had a few challenges getting to the location (construction and detours), but Amy Blair, Reception Manager, and Thomas Lessler, President & GM, welcomed us when we arrived. Amy personally checked us in to help us get off on the right foot to enjoy our scheduled treatments. Essentials Spa has truly captured the essences of customer care. In my opinion and experience, even the most planned event will have glitches but how a business handles those glitches makes the difference...Essentials has "Customer Care" down to a tee. I will gladly come back again to experience other treatments. I want to also recognize Jennifer (reception) who went above and beyond to make our stay at Essentials Day Spa, Viera a "WOW" experience. more

you need to know who you are asking for if you are getting a service. I have been going to this place for a long time because i have a friend who works there. they are very good when it comes to massage services. how ever the worst service you can get is manicure and pedicure. it is so expensive and the cheapest mani/padi i ever got was much better than this. when it comes to waxing i had couple good experiences because i knew who to ask for but that person doesn't work there anymore and i haven't had a good waxing since then. And actually one of them burnt my legs and it took a year for those marks to disappear. I had a veryyyyy bad experience with my hair too. First, i was lied to, told me it was not a chemical and it was, ruined my hair and it took 3 years for my hair to go back to normal. i was so upset i was gonna get my hair shaved and get a wig but i had a very long hair and my heart couldn't allow it. on top of all that damage i paid them over $200 for them ruining my hair. After years later, i had a good experience with another hair stylist but she quit recently. so i don't get my hair done there anymore. I never had a facial so i can not comment on that. I hope this helps everyone because i wish someone told me about these things so i would make better decisions. Pros: nice people, nice atmosphere Cons: expensive, not every service is good more

I've been to the Viera location several times for pretty much everything on the menu. I'm so pleaed with the service and experience and I always look forward to going back for another relaxing, indulgent day!! more

I have been a loyal customer of Essentials Spa since 2006 and I absolutely love their selection of services. They have tons of different pedicures to choose from and their massages are the best. The staff is friendly and will address any concerns you may have. The Bali Coconut Rub, Hot Stone Massage, and Tropical Dream Package are my favorite services! The new location in Viera is gorgeous and roomy. I love how the showers, steam room, and sauna are now separate from the lockers and bathroom. It is also right around the corner from my work so it is very easy to get to. They are open until 8pm during the week and on Saturdays which I love. They also make it easy to book appointments because there is one number to call and they don't require a mandatory booking time like other spas. I have made an appointment for a massage the day before I went in and they have no problem booking at the last minute! Wonderful would recommend anyone in the area to visit. more

WOW! What a completely horrible experience!!!! I have never in my life been treated so rudely. Kathi the nail tech was more interested in upselling me than how I was made to feel. She is rude, pushy and crass, not to mention, my pedicure was mediocre at best. I will NEVER go back to Essentials....I left my pedicure with Kathi feeling insecure, put down and insulted...I cried the entire ride home. Kathi should be in a training video of how NOT to deal with people. I have had many pedicures in my day....most make me feel relaxed and renewed...not this one....extremely disappointing.... more

I have been comingto Essentials for a few months, and I think their customer service and spa services are wonderful. I had a pedicure tonight w/ Denise, and she did an excellent job. She is very friendly and the pedicure was the best. I am happy to be a new customer. Their services and attitudes exemplify the true spa experience. more

Wow- was WONDERFUL! I received a gift certificate from my husband for my birthday and all I can say is wow! I had a massage, which was very needed (I have a 5 year old son!) and a facial, and my skin is glowing! :) I also had a yummy lunch then a pedicure, which was one of the best I have ever had. I cannot wait to go back. I would recommend this spa. It is not inexpensive, but is worth every penny. Pros: friendliness, it was clean, very nice decor, great staff Cons: a wee bit pricey more
