I enjoyed the Essentials Spa it had a very warm and friendly atmosphere. If i am in the area again i would love to have another massage and spa treatment at Essentials.

Just what I needed! 5/5/2011

I stopped in for a hot stone massage and to have my hair washed and dried. The massage was awesome! The deep heat of the stones and the perfect pressure provided by Lindsay was just the combination I needed. I entered the salon relaxed and was treated to an excellent wash and style. I can't wait to head back! more

My facial 4/30/2011

I've been to Essentials quite a bit, but today was my first facial...I loved it. Lily was very professional and informative. She gave me suggestions and also recommended products to help improve my skin...I'm looking forward to using them and my next facial. Thank you! more

my experience at salon 4/30/2011

Chantel was really great but I was shocked at the hight price that I had to pay. I have been to several nice salons and the highest I paid for a highlight was $120 at Imperial, and I got charged for bangs cut which took one second, and when I went home the highlights was even showing at all. more

An Absolutely Wonderful Experience 4/25/2011

I want to thank Essentials and most especially Sara Scott for an amazing experience and one I will not soon forget. She treated me kindly and with respect. She helped me to relax and feel very comfortable and really made my experience a very pleasurable one. I am still feeling the relaxing effects of her session and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for relief from life's uncertainties and stress. Best Hair Cut in Years 4/23/2011

I highly recommend Chantel. She listened to what I wanted but also gave her expert advice and I ended up with a beautiful haircut that I absolutely love! One thing I particularly liked about her is when she was giving me my conditioning treatment she didn't just walk away like most people do, she gave me a massage and then sat and talked to me during the 5 minutes it had to sit on my hair. I will definitely be back! more

Years of experience don't necessarily equal good knowledge 4/23/2011

I had a negative experience with a hair colorist named Rene (I think). As I was describing what I wanted she rolled her eyes at me and claimed she had been doing hair color for 30 yrs. Not only did she choose a poor choice of color for me it didn't even color my gray. My gray (which no other colorist has had a problem with) was showing up in less than 2 weeks!!!Rene delivered me horrible service and some unhelpful attitude to go along with it. Who knows, maybe the hair color that they use there is not very effective in covering gray, but that still doesn't account for poor color choice. Viera chick more

AN EASTER GIFT 4/22/2011

My daughter, best friend, and myself started a pre-Easter ritual last year - massages at Essentials Spa. We repeated this ritual again today. We all agreed after our massages, as we were relaxing in the steamroom, etc., that this is the best way to celebrate being together. The massage therapists at Essentials are all artists. My therapist today was Donna. She was amazing. I recommended her to my husband for his next massage. more

Great Mom Getaway 4/17/2011

The spa was beautiful and relaxing and the staff was all friendly and accommodating. I was happy with my massage, mani/pedi and hair styling. I only wish they had suggested I change out of my robe and back into my clothes before getting my nails done. I ended up ruining my nails getting dressed but couldn't stay to wait to get them fixed. I was also very upset when it cost me an extra $10 because the Mother's Day Package gift certificate was purchased last year, and I had to pay the difference for the price increase. I feel that if you are selling a package deal and it's only good for 1 year you should honor that price and not charge the guest more when they come in. The extra charges at the end of my trip helped undo some of my relaxation. more

Pedicure With Kathi 4/14/2011

My pedicure with Kathi was outstanding! She made my feet feel like i could go out dancing after i leave the Spa, but instead i will go home and put my feet up and admire my beautiful toes. Give that lady a raise she is awesome! more
